Excellent service even with a party of 13! Very relaxing. We didn't feel rushed, just made to feel welcome. The food was delicious and came at a reasonable time which was appreciated as we had hungry children in the party. Reasonably priced too.

A late review that was on edit mode🙈 As a self-proclaimed foodie, I've been eagerly anticipating my visit to Storia, an authentic Italian restaurant located in Maidenhead. Having followed their Instagram account for some time, I was excited to finally try their some of their dishes. Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately struck by the cozy ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. Soft lighting, rustic decor was the perfect mood for a group of mummy’s on their night away from the babies. The menu at Storia is a true reflection of their commitment to authentic Italian cuisine. With a focus on fresh, homemade dishes, every bite is a burst of flavor. I was thoroughly impressed by the attention to detail and care put into each plate. Overall, my experience at Storia was nothing short of exceptional. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch and I can't wait to return to try out more dishes. If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy setting, be sure to pay Storia a visit - I promise you won't be disappointed!

Amazing customer service. Although the garlic bread was salty and the crab/prawn toglioni was a bit dry, the food tasted ok.

We enjoyed a gorgeous family meal here for our mum's birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The food was delicious and very tasty. The decor and atmosphere was spot on and the service was 10/10. The best Italian we have been to (outside of Italy!) We would return for another delicious meal!

I was really impressed with the food, delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was the lovely Zuzana. She was cheerful, passionate about the food, and clearly happy to be there, great service with a smile from Zuzana and her equally attentive colleague from Hong Kong. We've had grilled seabass and Marsala chicken, yummy!

Always go back here for the truffle dishes; arranchini balls, mushroom risotto and the lemon posset for dessert! This is a regular spot for me and never disappoints.

Had a delightful meal Saturday 14th to celebrate my mum's 84th birthday. The staff were so friendly, warm and attentive from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The food was all delicious from starters through to desserts their wasn't a dish that failed to deliver. Restaurant has a good atmosphere as well. Thank you for making my mum and my family so welcome and for a lovely meal.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. Pleasant table facing the garden. Tried the Aubergine and Boretta starters, both tasty and nicely presented. Both had fresh pasta, mine with beef agu (a little dry) , my wife's was prawn and crab with a hint of chilli - really delicious. Had a litre bottle of sparkling water and a large glass of Savignon Blanc. Total bill was £72 with tip optional. Recommended

Lovely restaurant, we visited on a busy Saturday evening without a booking and they had a table available for us. The staff were friendly and happy to help with any questions we had about the menu. The food was delicious and the wine was even better. I can't believe we've not been here before, we will definitely come again!

Exemplary service from Italian Zuzana and Ukranian Vitoriya at Storia Maidenhead serving Ukranian Andriy's extraordinary food. I went to acknowledge and thank them. I had the same and similar fish at other restaurants across the country during that week. None even came close to Zuzana, Vitoriya and Andriy's service and food preparation. I considered sending them flowers, though this lasts longer. I even rang for the recipe when I got home.

This is a really lovely Italian restaurant. You get a warm welcome upon entering and that's thanks to the fantastic wait staff. The food itself was delicious, having tried a few of the other dishes. Every one was a hit. I would highly recommend coming here for a warm Italian experience!

Nothing ever too much to ask. Arrived just before closing without reservation and they happily seated us, recommended us some dishes and a few lemoncillos! Had a great time! Dined in a lot at this restaurant and never let down.

My husband and I visited the restaurant this evening for our anniversary and were amazed not only by the food but the amazing customer service. From when we firsf entered the restaurant until we left, we were treated with total respect and kindness. I can honestly sa, I have not been to an Italian restaurant where the food was spectacular and every bite was full of flavour. The staff are so lovely and polite they went above and beyond for us this evening and made our anniversary so, so special. The nexr time we are in maidenhead we will visit again. This is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in.. I would like to thank all the staff for an amazing evening..

Nice atmosphere with good attentive service. Menu features many different choices and options. Great to have the option to sit outdoors or indoors. Starters were very good but the main was nothing special and a bit average considering the price.

Absolutely fantastic visit to Astoria Maidenhead. The food (Garlic& Cheese flatbread. Beef Ragu pasta & mushroom /nduija sausage pasta ) were fresh, very tasty & served piping hot. All staff are lovely & welcoming & make your visit memorable. We only visit the area once a year, but always book Storia.

The service was off the scale excellent last from the moment I walked in and was welcomed by name. I was also pleased to see Zuzanna was there as I knew the service would be top quality, fun and interactive whenever she approached our table. In this competitive, fast paced, profit driven world, it is lovely to be able to enjoy a relaxing, top quality meal with friends without being rushed. I even got to try Frangelico for the first time, which was a delicious experience. Thank you to everyone involved for making it such a fantastic night out. We will return!

I love how welcome the staff made us feel. Right from entering to leaving we felt like we were welcomed like old friends. They were super attentive, and drinks, nibbled and meals all served in good time (ie not so fast we felt we’re being rushed, but not so slowly that we were left wondering what was happening). The food itself was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Thank you!

One word: incredible. The staff were the friendliest most accommodating staff I think I’ve ever met. The food was exceptional, both my partner and I had the beef ragu (mine was gluten free) and what a treat! Finished off with the lightest most incredible Tiramisu and limoncello. Cannot rate this place enough and would recommend to all! Thank you to the team for looking after us and being fab.

A lovely place in a little town full of choices. Storia never disappoints. The arancini is amazing, as is everything else. Hasham, Lacey and Bartek were magnificent in the service provided..very attentive!

We got a late booking (party of three women) and were made really welcome. The service was attentive without being over-the-top and the staff were happy to offer recommendations from a menu they clearly knew well. The food was lovely - fresh, tasty and delicate. Salmon was perfectly seared without being over-cooked. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and welcome. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Definitely worth heading here during Regatta week at Henley - far better than being crammed into an over-priced Henley restaurant where they want to get you fed and out as soon as possible. A huge thank you to all the staff.

Thank you so much to Lorenzo and the team, we walked in without a booking and we they accommodated us. 6 of us for dinner, we all ordered different meals and one had to be modified which was not an issue... Standard response all evening "yes no worries!" Fabulous food, amazing Tiramisu, lovely drinks super atmosphere and very friendly staff. This meal was special for our family as I live in Poland and we met family here as a meeting point and it will be an evening we will not forget. Thank you once again and I know when we will be back Storia will be a favourite place to meet up.

Is not normal be changer for chilli, first time. The food was good, but don't ask for spicy. Is not for the value. it is the action. Seriously, charge for chilli powder???

Storia is a lovely restaurant, great for alfresco dining (when the Bellway crane disappears). The staff were friendly and attentive but I felt that the food was pretty average. We tried the seafood and saffron risotto, which was mainly salmon and with a very small amount of prawns and squid, and the Salsiccia pizza, which was of a good quality but didn’t have much flavour. I would come again for the atmosphere, but not especially for the food. The complimentary limoncello was a great touch though!

Entering as a walk in, the venue was very accommodating and were able to find a table for two very quickly. We were provided with drinks also very quickly which was very good service. The service was the highlight of this visit. The low rating is due to the food. We ordered a seafood vongole and a seafood risotto with a side of truffle fries and tenderstem broccoli. The brocoli and the fries were lovely but we were both deeply disappointed with our main dishes. Both were bland, lacked seasoning, and neither tasted of seafood. We found ourselves prioritising the brocoli and fries which was noted by the attentive staff. How a plate of clams and pasta can taste of nothing was beyond my imagination for such a highly rated restaurant.

The waitress (from Slovakia and named Susana) served us very well, with great kindness and good humor, always attentive to whatever we might need. The food was exquisite (really good) and the atmosphere (decoration and lighting) sober and comfortable. I really recommend this place.

Visited on Saturday night 3rd of Feb. Horrible Service, the guy behind the bar with short gray hair very rude and unpolite! Did not even greet us, same with the waiter. Average food. Will not come back.

Such a lovely evening, we went for Valentine’s dinner and everything was perfect! They really did make it special! We had a fantastic waitress Mally who was very tentative constantly making sure we were happy 😊

Another excellent meal with superb service! I booked a table for lunch on Sunday for my wife’s birthday. We have 2 young children, and finding somewhere that not only caters for children, but also serves exceptional quality food for a special occasion like this is not easy. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and looked after throughout. The food was exceptional (I had the roasted cod and my wife had a chicken dish with a mushroom risotto). Cannot recommend highly enough. We will return soon!

Unfortunately we had a bad experience I ordered some pasta with prawns and the pasta was not done. The staff only checked if the starters are ok and nothing about the mains They only asked if we wanted to take home the pasta dish. Is not about the money isabout the service. Feedback is a gift and hopefully they can learn from my review. When you are saying it is not a busy night you should check your customers and make sure everything is ok and they will come back

Eugenia was amazing and had the best night Ed was good too, really enjoyed the service was really kind and the food was really good aswell.

We popped in for lunch to Storia on a Sunday. The restaurant is bright and airy inside with lovely seating. We ordered the mushroom soup and garlic bread starters and all of us had the Ragu pasta as a main. Deserts were Tiramisu and Biscoff Cheesecake. There was nothing obviously wrong with the food but the portions are quite small in proportion to what you are charged. The Ragu didn't have much meat in it at all although it tasted nice enough. The Tiramisu seems to be bought in, as it was served in a glass bowl with a lid. It was creamy but not boozy at all. At around £40 a head I feel our lunch was inoffensive enough but represents poor value for money when you consider the core ingredients (bread, pasta, etc.) are relatively cheap to buy items.

We’ve been here multiple times now and it’s our favourite in Maidenhead. Great food, service and ambience.

This was the first time I have eaten lunch indoors at Storia and it gave me the opportunity to note how well everything has been put together in terms of decor, layout and seats. The slickness of the service from the all male team on this occasion and the high quality of food emphasised that your vison has come toether in a superb restaurant that is a joy to eat at. On the way out I booked my return.

Most dreadful experience as I had the worst food poisoning of my life from eating here. We had to call an ambulance I was so ill for many weeks after this incident involving the chicken pasta I had for mains. Despite complaining to environmental health, they didn’t do anything about it and the restaurant continues to trade. Also complained to the restaurant and never heard back from them. Disgusting customer service!! Don’t eat here you will end up with long term stomach problems.

Service was incredibly friendly and efficient, 10/10! Our drinks came very swiftly after being seated, as well as our starters. The calamari was delicious, and a perfect portion size. For our mains we ordered two pasta dishes. Me and my partner were disappointed as the pasta was Al dente, this may be to some people’s preference however not to ours. The pasta was very chewy, however the flavour of the sauces were nice. Overall, although the service was super friendly and efficient, we wouldn’t rush back to Storia for their food dishes.

Five of us went for my step daughter’s birthday. It was so great! Warm welcome. Beautiful decor. Great choice of dishes. Everything we ordered was perfect and portions were generous. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
