The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Visited the newly revamped Medmex that has now been renamed Cloud 9 for a birthday celebration on a Thursday evening. We had a young member of our family with us and an elderly lady. Should have changed the name to Cloud Vape or Cloud Chav. A group of young adults sat drinking and vaping without caring about other customers. Felt like I was in a roudy pub in a city centre. The noise from one young woman was horrendous. Shouting and swearing at top of her voice totally spoilt our meal. We asked the young barman to intervene and he explained the proprietor wasn't in to sort it! My advice to that young barman...grow a pair! He did eventually ask them to quieten down. Young teens kept coming in off the street just to use the toilet. One of our party was sure he saw small packets exchanged in the mens loos. Not something we want our youngsters to experience. Mediocre food okay and served quickly, however, we won't be returning anytime soon unless the clientelle improves, even our teens were discusted by what they witnessed.

Local muy inteligente y bien amueblado. Gran servicio, camarero tenía buena personalidad y era un experto en cócteles. Encantadores entrantes y deliciosa pizza. Demasiado lleno para un postre y menú de domingo de buena relación calidad-precio 😋

Tan bueno que vine aquí dos veces en una noche para la Navidad de mi trabajo. Bebidas a precios razonables, buena gama, buena música e incluso algo de comida disponible que tendré que volver a probar!

I drive past this restaurant daily and have always said I must go there. Well the husband done good and booked us a table. A lovely warm welcome and the food was absolutely delicious we will certainly be back.

What a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious, I highly recommend the calimari. The portion size was just right so we were full but not to bursting (I actually left a small amount and felt gulty at not being able to eat it all as it was delicious). The staff were attentive, the atmosphere great - it was lovely to see families in the restaurant too - a sign that they are welcoming to all. We loved it so much we have already booked for another meal. Whats not to love - Highly recomended.

Visiting the area for a couple of days, noticed this place driving by. What luck! Menu is not enormous but has excellent options, with a specials board. Husband and I had garlic chilli prawns to start - absolutely delicious. He had a Special - pan fried sea bass with veg and new potatoes and wiped the plate clean. I had melanzane parmigiana with some gorgeous juicy garlic bread which was all delightful. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Would thoroughly recommend.

Queriendo algo auténtico, le pedimos una recomendación a uno de los dueños de una tienda local, y sin dudarlo, nos señaló hacia Portobello Garden, un restaurante italiano a pocos pasos. Cuando llegamos, sabíamos que era un lugar especial. El restaurante está bellamente decorado con flores, creando un ambiente acogedor y acogedor. Love this place, genuine Italian family business. Please make rum & raisin and coconut ice cream. Great staff and very helpful.

A lovely family run Italian restaurant, the food and service were both excellent on a visit for my adult sons birthday. Surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, but service was fabulous and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend for an occasion or romantic meal.

Después de haber cancelado la reserva en Il Portico. Tenemos una reserva de última hora en Grato. Fue realmente una de las mejores comidas italianas que hemos tenido, el cangrejo y la pasta de chile era excelente. Vale la pena visitarlo.

We were a group of 7 friends, celebrating a special occasion. We had a fabulous meal at Pacinos. We had 2 courses each and all the food was freshly made and delicious. The staff are all lovely too. We will defo be back.

We came after a trip to the theatre for my goddaughter's birthday. Peppe and his wife were welcoming and gave excellent service throughtout the meal. A candle in the desset made our day. The food was very good and well presented. We will be back.

This was our first visit since moving to the area , very impressed with everything , pizza and pasta both amazing !! Cocktails taste and look beautiful . Service friendly and welcoming . Will certainly be returning for their weekly offers very soon.. Mille grazie .

The customer service was outstanding good food especially the guidon’s the cruch was excellent I highly recommend recommend you come here
