Northwood Piazza in Hillingdon

We celebrated my daughter's and nieces birthday. There 27 of us in total, their private room was perfect for the occasion and Guida and her staff were very accommodating. We pre ordered the food beforehand. It was the perfect birthday celebration for the girls and everyone commented on what a lovely restaurant and really enjoyed the food. Andrei our waiter was brilliant, he honestly helped the evening run so smoothly and was attentive to everyone. We cannot wait to come back soon.

Hosted my birthday there. They had a room upstairs for us and it could not have gone better! The staff were very attentive and food was great. A family run business at its best!

This place was amazing!! Very nice prawns and the house wine was exquisite!! Definitely get the tiramisu or the chocolate fudge cake it is so delicious!

So authentic 🤌 pure Italian food 🍲 👌i must say best in the area. Granita Mashrooms ✅ Vegetarian pizza 🍕 🌶 real hot 🔥 & hit ✅ Ravioli aurora pasta ✅ perfect. We have always seen this place is been busy all days of week and during covid days too. Probably that's why sometimes we have found service in the downside. But one particular thing I certainly not forget which i have noticed very much precisely today is that the chef himself who was coming in & out so often to meet&greet each and every table apart from ours! Which we felt very race discriminating. We have not ever noticed such behaviour in hospitality industry and more so in Northwood, Pinner area. May need to think before dining in again. Try it. Expensive & had the worst heartburn ever that night

Every meal we have here is outstanding. Staff are so friendly, lots of atmosphere, great pizzas, lovely Italian food and home made tiramisu. Just plain great.

This is a nice family run restaurant. We ate mainly from the specials and were suitable impressed. There is a large car park almost next to it, that is free after 6pm.

We wanted to say a big thank you to all of you and the team for ensuring we had a fabulous time at Northwood Piazza on Christmas Day. I think I mentioned that none of the six of us had had Xmas Day Lunch out before across combined ages of nearly 350 years! We chose you to celebrate with you as we have always been delighted with the food, ambience and team when we have eaten with you. Christmas Day was no exception … everything was perfect. We loved the food, the atmosphere, service was excellent and not rushed and everyone was delighted with their choices. I would heartily recommend you to anyone for any occasion and handling all your clients so brilliantly during what was a really busy service showed how good you are at what you do. What a fabulous New Year's evening we had. Owners and staff were very welcoming. The restaurant looked great and the food, of course, was excellent. Wonderful!

This is a lovely neighbourhood Italian restaurant. It offers a good selection of pasta and meat and fish dishes all freshly prepared. On the night I was here there were a mixture of families, couples and friends eating. It's not the largest restaurant so it has a good buzz.

Very good restaurant. It is a pity we have not came across before. Really good food, very friendly atmosphere, than you very much! Recommended!

Went there for the first time last night. Been to loads of Italian Restaurants, this was the best. 5 star all round. Will definitely visit again and will take my Italian family. Everything was perfect. The food, the service, even the table was spot on. Can't wait to come back

We took our family out for a celebration meal which included all ages (from 89 down to 4 years old) and were made most welcome. The food and service were lovely, there was much consideration given to those who wanted something slightly different from that listed on the menu, especially for the children, so everyone was catered for. Nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were friendly and very helpful to everyone in our group, including our three young grandchildren. I would highly recommend this restaurant, especially for special occasions as the food and service are always excellent, something essential for a celebration. One thing we did notice was there was another family group on a large table with children running up and down the stairs and the owner very politely asked them to stop as this was dangerous for them and her staff/customers to pass, which they did. This was a relief as the stairs are very steep and worrying to witness, thankfully no-one was offended due to the sensitive handling by the owner. If you have not been to this restaurant, it is definitely worth a visit for a meal or a bigger celebration they always make is special. Keep up the good work Guida and Team.

Went with my grand daughter. This place is very unfriendly with babies /children. would not go there again. We ordered starters and had to take away the main meal.

While the food did take some time to get to the table, it was worth the wait! We had the fried Calamari for appetiser, Hawaiian, Margarita pizzas and their Calzone for mains, absolutely divine and too full to even have dessert so we will definitely have to go back to try it

Had a good lasagna there. Other tablemates had salmon salad and spaghetti carbonaro. The latter was a little on the salty side. Most waiters were friendly.

Northwood Piazza is not only a wonderful place to dine but it is now part of our family tradition when it comes to celebrating. A lovely atmosphere, exceptional food and a wonderful team of staff to make it special. Our family favourites include the melanzane alla parmigiana, bruschetta portobello e brie for starters and pizza, gamberoni piazza and steak for mains. Highly highly recommended! A true family favourite for us. ❤️

Love this little local Italian eatery in Northwood. The penna arrabiatta is awesome and pretty spicy! Also love the garlic bread starter and the funghi starter.

First time here last night. food amazing.. staff lovely... I think there was about 7 birthday songs 🎵 Plan to return. 🤗

Food , nothing special, limited choices. 8 of us dined in. Split bill 4 ways as worked out by the waiter. After meal waiter and manager started arguing saying we were £2 short on our tip even though we had just spent nearly £300 on the meal and drinks! We won't be going back EVER!

Went last week for my daughter-in-law birthday. We were a party of 10. All our meals were absolutely fantastic. We would definitely recommend our family and friends to go here. The staff and the owner are so helpful, caring, and polite. Can't wait to visit them again. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Superb, authentic Italian restaurant and menu, with daily specials, great wine and courteous friendly staff. Whats not to like ?

Portions are too small. Female waitress Treating you like elderly people who sometimes it’s very little portion. In her eye everyone eats the same small portion and feel full. She is quite argumentative person Not right one for the role. Despite they charge the same price but gives you kids portion very unfair and three Kuveyt making money. We didn’t want to have a argument in the restaurant and left quietly but we wouldn’t recommend at all. Very disappointing and tricky restaurant. Nothing as shown on the advertisement photos. We were there for the first time but never again.

I have read the previous two reviews on this restaurant which bears no resemblance to my experience having visited at least once or twice a week for a number of years. The food is always excellent with a good choice adequate portions sometimes too big. The staff are first class providing good service and with a pleasant attitude.i would recommend this restaurant to anyone I dont know where the previous reviewer is coming from. Marie

Portions are too small for main courses. They offering kids portion but charging adult for portion! And the waitress is deciding about what sizes of portions you should eat. Very mean restaurant. When you just ask little bit extra they waitress reply you need to pay double price and her attitude was very unwelcoming and argumentative chat back! she turned me down and keep me hungry when I already pay!

We celebrated my FIL’s 75th Birthday here, had about 25 people and we had the entire upstairs section. I had preordered all the food as per individual orders, drinks we ordered there. From the time I first booked the venue, the pre ordering, service on the day, quality of the food, politeness of the staff, just everything you can think of was absolutely perfect. All our family loved the food there and I’m sure some of them have already visited again. It’s one of our favourite Italian restaurants and would highly recommend it.

Good food and great tastes. Rooms for groups - which we were. Not too expensive either. We had risotto, pastas (ravioli was good) pancakes (like cannelloni but smaller) and pizzas for 10 of us.

What a lovely cosy family run restaurant serving simply delicious Italian fare! Friends who live locally booked us in for a long overdue get together and it was perfect. A small corner table for four, soft but great music which did not encroach on good conversation, great recommendation on the wine and food that had us literally licking our fingers! Despite living a good few miles away we will definitely be back to try more of the menu - so far our group would whole heartedly recommend the garlic tomato prawn starter, the mushrooms and the minestrone soup and main courses of sea bass, the halibut which was on the specials menu and their pizzas! Besides the food, the service is superb too. Try it out as will not disappoint…

We met here for a reunion with some friends. What a great venue. Very welcoming and wonderful atmosphere. Menu really good with plenty of choice as well as some delicious specials. Food quality excellent as too was the service delivered with humour. Can’t wait to return.

Very disappointed waited very,very long time for any food hours, mine was too salty to eat, another dish arrived but had to wait at least 10mins for veg. Passed eating by time we got anything. Waitress did her best in poor situation

We know the restaurant well and held our 50th Birthday Dinners there a few years ago. So for us it was the perfect spot for Mum's Surprise 80th celebration. Everything was amazing, the food was great and organising it was a breeze with Guida. The room was decorated beautifully, we took our own decorations and they were added to by the time we arrived to set up the surprise. We were all upstairs in the private dining room and Mum was guided upstairs and the team helped keep our secret. Everyone had a fantastic time, alongside the food, decorations, service and atmosphere we could not have wished for more. It is a big responsibility organising a family event and have people travel and stay overnight. You want it to be a success. Doing this with Northwood Piazza is definitely the right decision and we would wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant for events and as well as smaller get togethers, date nights or a midweek lunch, the food and service is always excellent 😊.

Friendly staff, good service and tasty food

I visited the restaurant with two friends and had a lovely evening. Atmosphere was relaxing, and were seated in a lovely table by the window. Orders were taken swiftly by very friendly team member and food came out in a timely manner and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend.

We have been going here for years and the service and food has never let us down. Food is served wonderfully fresh, cooked to perfection (always exactly as requested) and very large portions, we never leave hungry! It is a family run restaurant and nothing is ever too much trouble, if you have different requirements and/or preferences they will always accommodate these without fail. We have never been disappointed by the service or the food and would highly recommend this to everyone who is looking for a delightful evening out. Another very big plus is that in recent times when most restaurants (understandably) are only taking different sittings (e.g. 6-8pm or 8-10pm) this restaurant has been keen to avoid this so that their customers can book for the whole evening and enjoy a lovely evening meal at their leisure. This shows great consideration and demonstrates concern that their customers enjoy the time spent at their restaurant. This must have come at some expense to them but clearly their customer’s enjoyment is of utmost importance to them.

Have been coming here for years and can’t praise the place enough. A family run restaurant that go the extra mile to look after you.

We’d been recommended Northwood Piazza by several people as having a good food and good service unfortunately, this isn’t what we experienced yesterday. Only the starters were good, we had to wait a long time for the pizza & pasta only to find they were only just warm enough, the portion sizes on the small side. The staff are nice and friendly but let down by slow service from the kitchen. Turns out friends that recommended it haven’t been there over there since start of the pandemic, so it looks like there’s been a big decline over this time. We definitely won’t be going back anytime soon.

We visited the restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday . There were eight of us and we booked it 48 hrs in advance . The restaurant is on the main road and next to the car park . The ground floor was busy and the upstairs had about 20 people with long tables on either side of the room . The service was slow and it was obvious they were short staffed as there was only one waitress on the top floor . She was keen we ordered the starter and the main meal together . The starters were ok but very small portions . By the time we finished the starters the pizza and pasta were cold and had no taste . We were informed by the waitress that they don’t reheat . The chips that I ordered were hot and tested authentic . The overall experience of eating in the restaurant was disappointing . I definitely won’t recommend the restaurant to any of my friends or families 😊

As always lovely food and tremendous service. We had nice pizzas, drinks and shared a desert. Not cheap but not overly expensive. We had a white pizza which was amazing, definitely recommend, very generous with the cheese!
