Always wonderful top notch food with attention to detail. One of our favourites and the wine list is lovely too. I dream of their tiramisu.

From the moment you arrive in this pretty, romantic little place you receive the nicest welcome , friendly staff and excellent traditional Italian food. Wine was super too 🍷

I bought the sausage and tomato pasta for takeaway and it was sooooo delicious. It came in about 10 minutes when the restaurant wasnt busy. I asked for extra meat and cheese and they did nottttt disappoint at all, lots of cheese and sausage. It was superbly scrumptious. Tomato sauce was plentiful and tasty too. Thank you mama rose. *P.S i licked the plate clean.

We frequent this place at least once every 2 weeks and the food is always on point - delicious every time. The staff are super friendly and the ambience is lovely with perfect lighting. What more could you ask for?

We tried Mamma Rosa for the first time yesterday as the reviews were good and we were so looking forward to the experience. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. However, we felt it was not value for money for the prices they charge and we were disappointed as the quantity of the main course was not enough. We ordered sea bass which came as half a seabass and pasta linguini which seemed like a kid's menu portion...we were still hungry after our meal and had to go elsewhere to fulfill our appetite. When we queried this with the owner his answer was to simply order extra next time!!! For that reason we will not be returning.

It was ok but for what you pay for a main meal the portions are small.

Love this place, such a lovely authentic Italian restaurant. The owner is so friendly and hospitable and takes time to talk to everyone. The food is delicious and portions are generous. I love the decor and atmosphere. Happy to support a lovely little independent restaurant like this!

I have been here couple of times, very nice italian place in Ruislip which offers a quite authentic italian cuisine. They do all the pasta in the house which is what has attracted me in first, i have really liked the main we got but I didn't like the focaccia which was very dry, it looked like it was warmed up from the day before. I am a pastry chef and I am italian, I make focaccia at home, so for me is super important that this is made fresh on the day, I understand it was a tuesday lunch but in that case either do a smaller batch or say that you don't have for the day. I didn't go back after that only cause I think the price are a bit too high and since I make fresh pasta at home too is pointless, but definately a place i would racomand

An Italian gem in Ruislip A beautiful surprise to have this authentic Italian restaurant here in Ruislip. Pasta is hand made with passion which elevates all pasta dishes to the next level. Not to mention the friendly staff and owner with the best Italian hospitality. Grazie!

We had a wonderful meal Celebrating our Ruby Wedding Anniversary with our family,, the food and service were excellent , we sat in the garden room which had a lovely atmosphere, the menu had something for everyone young and old enjoyed our visit. Thank you

Excellent food, impeccable personal service. The host/owner was very welcoming and the restaurant, although packed on a Saturday night, had a lovely Italian-family atmosphere without being unduly noisy. Food is outstanding, the 'specials' (tuna scarpcio etc) exceptionally delicious. Great range of drinks - the 'Amalfi Kiss' was a great heatwave quencher. Good value, too, as the food portions are generous. In all, a fabulous dining choice and comes highly recommended.

Lovely food and service. My parents came here before and we went altogether without booking. Really attentive stuff and food was amaziing. My parents had fish that came with veggies and I had shrimp pasta, honestly was bussin. My parents also loved the wine x I really recommend

We tried this Italian restaurant in Ruislip for a late brunch and were impressed with their two course early bird menu which is very good value at £14 per person and delivers in terms of food quality. I went for the parmigiana to start which was well balanced and simply scrumptious. For my main I tried the rigatoni alla boscailo which was a mushroom pasta with a gorgonzola and cream sauce. Vegetarian pasta frequently disappoints especially when on a set menu but this certainly did not. You will find great service in Mamma Rosa and it is so nice to find a decent Italian restaurant a stone's throw from home.

We love this place - excellent food with a warm welcome and friendly service. Nothing fancy, but you know when a place is right.

This is by far one of my favourite restaurants the food is delicious it never disappoints. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this as the best Italian for anybody.

A lovely restaurant and very accommodating service.

Overpriced and underwhelming. Very small portions. Six of the tiniest potatoes you have ever seen and a few beans and broccoli stems constituted the vegetables !

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience here. Paid £15.50 for lasagne and the portion size was unbelievably small. It was a small square and looked more like a side portion than a main dish. It was also fairly tasteless as it mostly consisted of layers of pasta with no meat in between. We left feeling hungry, disappointed and ripped off. Would never return. Over priced, very poor value for money and not at all enjoyable.

The best spaghetti carbonara in London! Good calamari - love the zucchini in it to make it lighter! Decent negroni.

The real Italian experience. The quality of the dishes has nothing to envy to a good Italian restaurant in Italy. Is so difficult to find a place where to eat some good seafood in London, I will definitely go back.

Excellent service for our party of 15 yesterday. Great tastes, textures and presentation in the dishes, and everyone had a good time. Think would also suit smaller groups.

Ordered prawn based dish, prawns were miniscule and tough to chew. Ordered chicken for my child which was again very tough and bland. Tiramisu was just a lump of disappointment. No flavour whatsoever. Service wasn't good, the waiter looked miserable! I should have opted for the Italian next door.

Portions small. Pasta sauce watery and almost microwave like. Meat platter served on small dinner plate with very little professional appeal. It's all a bit too homely and lacks anything eventful. Not cheap either. There are a couple more Italian restaurants on the High St that have got it right.

I went with my partner and 2 children. Myself and my partner have sea food linguine and half the clams and mussels were empty. Portions were small and very overly priced I would not recommend & will not be going back .

15 of us went to Mamma Rosa for a Christmas meal. Fantastic food and wine, friendly and knowledgeable staff. All meals served together, not one of us was left waiting. Really lovely restaurant, will definitely be returning x

We have eaten here a few times, food always top quality and the staff are extremely helpful.

I took me and my daughter here for dinner one Friday evening. It was the best spaghetti Bolognese she’d ever had. It was the children’s menu and she loved it as did I I had the starters meat platter delicious red wine delicious service brilliant staff amazing we have been back twice since this first visit and love it every time they have never disappointed us in food or service definitely must recommend x

We booked for my wife’s birthday. The restaurant was quiet as it was a Tuesday evening. The service was friendly attentive and considerate. The food was very good but my wife’s starter a burrata with roasted vegetables was truly exceptional. The wine list was reasonably comprehensive and had a good selection of Italian wines we went for a reserva for £25 which was worth the extra over a house wine in my option. The food was all freshly cooked and hot ( I don’t know what other reviewers were saying and there is no frozen food so the comments by the owner of the rogue review ring true to me.) We will certainly be returning. Peter’s C7463QY is a perfect summary!

Food is really nice. Simple and good food. Ask for recommendations. The steak and carbonara with chilli flakes is in particular very tasty.

The place is very nice and cozy. The food was absolutely delicious. Our Choi was the fettuccine alla carbonara for main dish, and for the desert we tried out the ricotta & pistachio cream cake. This place is great as always. Staff are friendly and the food is brilliant. I’m a regular here and usually come in the late evenings. The only thing I would say is a negative is that in the evenings there’s a lot of glass that’s dumped and it’s makes a really loud noise whether your in the back garden or in the restaurant.

Really lovely restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. The only suggestion I could make would be to add some tablecloth’s, perhaps the red and white ones that look so cute in Italian restaurants.

Rude staff and turned away our business. Was looking for a coffee and dessert but was refused service. It was after dinner service and the restaurant was fairly empty (around 3 diners in total). Such a shame and won't be visiting in the future.

Quite a nice Italian place with friendly staff. I think it is family run, as we have only been there twice in two years, but the people were the same. They were all very friendly, and exceptionally happy to make our dining experience a really family friendly one and take care of any issues that arose. I think we'll probably come here again for another big occasion. 5 stars.

Probably one of the best italian I have had in a long time, delightful place along with the staff who know the dishes, so don't be afraid of the recommendations. Absolutely beautiful food.! My wife and I were recommended to go here for a meal by a friend, being Italian myself it’s very hard to get traditional Italian tasting food outside of Italy..!! But Mamma Rossa blew us both away with the taste and quality of the food. All made fresh on the day by their outstanding chief Lilo Walter and his family make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble if you wanted to alter your dish in any way.! This is certainly a restaurant that we will recommend to our friends and family to go to.

Great authentic Italian restaurant,the food was great the steak tasted really really nice and nutritional,the veg to the side added a feel to the steak.the staff were great they answered all my questions that i had,the waiter was really nice and so much fun and the waitress was polite.they really nailed it the service was a lot better than I was imagining and it was really good.the lemonade actually tasted like proper more natural lemonade than sprite or Schweppes and you got lots on it which was decent.the toilets were clean and the garden area looks beautiful which you can hire out for up to 22 people and has a cover on it so if it rains you will be able to still eat out there.the decor and atmosphere was really nice and music was great.going on a Tuesday afternoon is the best way to experience it as you get the whole restaurant to yourself the whole time.will be visiting back very soon

Delicious food and nice atmosphere. The only negative was the tiramissu, worst one I have eaten ever, so sad. I was really looking forward to have an original Italian tiramissu.

On a very soggy Sunday lunchtime, it was lovely to step in here to the warmth of the restaurant and the hosts. As a family of six, we had a mix of starters and mains and everyone of us enjoyed them. The food was tastier...

Very tasty food. However, service was rushed and waitress was struggling to understand us. Very expensive place though. We were sharing starters so without informing us they made the starters bigger and obviously charged us more. Also, wife wanted a glass of hot water with lemon. This was £2. Service charge was added. All these cost related items would be fine if the customer is informed.
