It didn't taste much like traditional Italian cuisine.

Awesome little Italian restaurant - the food is amazing and the staff are lovely and jolly

We had the most wonderful evening meal here. The food was delicious, with unusual options. I had blue cheese and spinach pasta which would be suitable for vegetarians. The sweets were lovely too and the wine was very enjoyable and incredibly reasonably priced. The owners/staff were reqlly welcoming and friendly and stopped to have a delightful conversation with us at then end of our meal. The whole evening was particularly relaxing, I cannot recommend Veneto’s highly enough, particularly having read the less favourable reviews on here, which are quite hard to comprehend. Please give Veneto’s a chance.

A wonderful place to visit. Amazing quality and freshness of the food. We visit often as the pizzas are always so tasty. They have nice friendly, really pleasant and swift service and the restaurant is relaxing, welcoming and a comfortable place to eat. Living in a town with so much choice for Italian food, I really recommend this lovely place and it's always our first choice!

Massive disappointment for an Italian restaurant you would expect an influence of wine garlic and fresh herbs clearly at this restaurant that is not the case that coupled with the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy the only reason I gave one star is cause you couldn’t give -10 the lady who was serving when passed positive feedback became argumentative and extremely rude , don’t waste your money go to ask instead

Worst Italian ever . Food has no flavour at all when we raised this with the waitress she was defensive and rude and told us to get out ! Never experienced anything like it , she demanded payment even though we had not eaten . Disgraceful

Creamy garlic mushrooms - served on shop brought garlic bread with basic bechamel sauce , no flavour . Penne pollo de casa , zero flavour at all , when giving feedback to the waitress she became very argumentative and said it was because we didn’t like it , which we didn’t as it has no flavour ! She then said to just pay her and get out ! Never experienced anyone so rude . Don’t waste your time here

Nice little Italian, with good simple, reasonably priced menu. Nice selection of wine and amazing service. Will be back.

The pasta was a little over cooked but the sauce was lovely. Unfortunately the chicken was inedible as it had the texture of jelly and had to be binned. We would not recommend due to the meat quality, especially for the price, we paid £27 for two pasta dishes and for both all the meat was binned.

Had nice day in Market Harborough to end with a brilliant lunch at Veneto. Good variety of options on the menu for a good price - didn't know where to start! Had a Calzone and it was huge! Well presented and very hot, very friendly staff. Been before and will go again!

Visited again after a long time. Nice and clean and service very good. Tasty food and good portions.Lovely clean toilets as well. If the toilets are looked after, then you know the kitchens will be the same.

Lovely restaurant for lunches as they do a special which is two main courses for £20, which is very good value. The food was very fresh and piping hot, obviously cooked to order. The service was great also, with two very pleasant ladies. We had the chicken mezza which was gorgeous! It was very popular and busy, mainly with couples and a family.

Average at best I'm afraid. It was a very quiet night when I was there, but it was a Wednesday evening. The first thing that draws your attention is the lighting in here, so bright it was like a works canteen. Really harsh spotlights and downlighters. If the lights were turned down much lower it would give a much nicer atmosphere. My starter of prawns were way over cooked, which I did mention and got the old "I'll pass it on to the chef". Seafood pasta for mains was...okay. I can't say that I tasted any seasoning. I was a bit disappointed really having finally got around to eating in here after staying in MH for many years. Sadly, I won't be returning.

Had a really cosy great meal in this place and really felt like it was one of the better Italian restaurants I have visited recently. Had a Calzone which was gorgeous and my partner had a carbonara. We both really enjoyed it. Service was great and it wasn't too pricey either. Will be coming back for sure.

When bill was presented I have noticed that the discount price that was jn the menu was not added completely to the bill. I have raised the issue and the answer was that it was a mistake with the machine and there was nothing that could be done. Was not impressed with the answer.

Absolutely delicious! Will be a repeat customer! The fungi pizza and the veneto salad were the absolute best! I may even come back just for a salad on occasion! 😋 Thank you!

Not a pleasant experience. The restaurant lacked a pleasant atmosphere. Similar to a canteen / cafe. My food, a chicken dish, was sadly disappointing. The chicken was so dry it was like eating blotting paper. The bread accompanying the chicken was dry and over cooked. Very poor indeed.

Great service, but was disappointed with the food unfortunately. Sorry, but Zizzi nailed the concept of italian cuisine much better.

We actually had take away pizza. It was lush. Best pizza in a long while. Loved the fact you could make subs in the standard menu as this stops the pizza costing an absolute fortune. Very happy to have been directed to this place. With the driver there and the drive home to eat it. Yumm. Would definitely recommend to locals and this passing through like me!

Absolutely LOVE this place. The food is always delicious, filling, and very well priced. The service is next to none, and there's never a long wait to be served or to receive the food. The atmosphere is always comfortable, the quiet music in the background is a nice touch. Lovely family owned business. We come here especially from South Leicester as it's one of the nicest restaurants around. Can not rate this place, the staff, the food and the price enough. Thank you for always being so welcoming and accommodating even if we don't book in advance.

I have been eating at Veneto with family and friends for a long time always fabulous food and great staff and atmosphere, I was amazed to see a review posted recently,,looking at the other reviews this person has put she is a serial complainer by the looks,, looking forward to my next visit very much always Fabulous.

This is a secret gem in Market Harborough . As a regular user of the the multi national pizza chains in the town, these pizza’s and pasta’s are more flavoursome with more toppings, to be highly recommend. Reasonably priced and great service,

Good food at a cheap price. Ideal for family dining and other celebrations.

Food was hot and tasty. Made a slight mistake with our order but was quickly rectified. Was a bit surprised that the ice cream on the menu was Movenpick when I am aware that within a 25 mile radius of the restaurant there are a good number of ice cream makers of Italian heritage who could supply the restaurant with authentic gelato and ice cream.

Lovely little restaurant, great food

Wasn't good at all, I'm afraid to say. Just about OK. Food was lacking some vibrancy and freshness. The restaurant is nice enough... and although not overly expensive, the whole experience was flat. Would rather pay slightly more for better quality food if I'm already paying ~£25pp...

Always amazing can never fault

My food was delivered 30 minutes early which was great, thank you. Unfortunately, my carbonara was tasteless and the garlic bread with cheese was like cardboard. My last order from here was absolutely delicious and I was really looking forward to another tasty meal so I’m very disappointed that it was so bland.

Food was nice, was quite busy. Made a mistake on order, but wasn't a huge issue. Food came out quickly, was hot and nice portions.

We had a really good lunch for four people, today, at this excellent small restaurant. The food was tasty, the service attentive, efficient, yet friendly in a typically relaxed sort of a way you get in many Italian restaurants. The last time the four of us met in this restaurant was on 13th March 2020, just before the first lockdown. We picked it then on the basis of good Google reviews They are just as goodnow! Thanks to everyone who has reviewed before. It was as good as many of you said! As a meeting place for two couples to catch up over a nice simple meal, this was ideal. Busy on a Wednesday lunchtime and reassuringly so, as with the many, many Italian restaurants we have visited. It was a pleasure and we will be back again Thanks again to all at Veneto!!! Thank you for surviving!!!

I love Venetos always great food however, yesterday was the worst I’ve had from there. Food was stone cold had to warm up in the oven when arrived and nowhere near its usual standards. Sorry! Always usually really good

Always great food, always great prices, always great staff. Very surprised by the size of the side garlic bread (spoiler: it's huge). The staff even offered to bag up the rest of it for me. Very happy, a true Harborough staple.

Been 4 or 5 times now and always have a beautiful meal. Would recommend anyone to try rather than going to the known Italian chain restaurants

Really nice gluten free pizza.... seems to be handmade in the restaurant. Lovely pasta dish too with gf penne. I would maybe like another gluten free dessert option, but anyway we were well catered for and great service.. will return sometime soon.

The food was excellent! And their gluten-free pizza base was really nice! GF pasta was only penne at the time, but that doesn’t really matter to me, because the pasta dish was also really nice anyway. I highly recommend it!

Gone down hill…drastically! Visited Wildwood for the first time in 12 months, as we’ve always enjoyed eating there prior, but what has happened? Greeted as we entered to be told, we have none of this, none of that, none of the other, oh and cash only payments today, the machine is bust! Taken to our table where we walked by a bar full of empty and dirty glasses etc. and noted many other customers sat with their empty plates on the tables (alarm bells started to ring). Menus came promptly but then after 10 minutes of not being given any attention, not even ‘What would you like to drink?’ we decided to bail before we wasted any more time (and our money). We went to a locally run Italian called Veneto’s around the corner where service was great and food was too! Given what we’re coming out of the crazy lockdown world, I’d have thought restaurants need to be on their A-game, sadly Wildwood not so and would get zero stars if I could give it.

Seriously delicious pizza, calamari was a little bit underwhelming quantity wise but still delicious. Would recommend AND order again in a heartbeat.

This use to be a lovely place to eat , terribly disappointed, chicken flat bread dish wasn't marinated as indicated on menu. Tasted just like grilled chicken!. Friends ended up eating their meal on own as theirs was taken back ,for a different meal.No complementary offer.! de

This evening 20th May , we had a long awaited meal out with friends, and we were really looking forward to it.We were greeted and seated at our table , we were not asked if we had checked in on the NHS App.We ordered the house red wine , (which was Spanish !!! In an Italian restaurant)which was pleasant enough , but was far too cold to be served (should be served room temperature) We chose the Spicy Chicken in a flat bread with French fries , salad (which consisted of roughly chopped ice berg , quarters of tomotoe and pieces of red onion - no flair or imagination The chicken was so bland , tasteless , askedy the waitress/ manager To taste (she advised been marinating for 24 hrs don’t know what spices as there was no taste and chicken inside was just pure whiite, Offered to pay for the meal minus the chicken, She said we had to pay the full price if we did not choose another dish , explained we had come to eat with our friends and now we would be eating on our own !!!!!!!The lady at this point apologised , felt insincere , there was no customer service skills at all I

Love this Italian restaurant. One of my favourite eatery’s in Market Harborough. Food is delicious, friendly and polite staff. Great value. Relaxing atmosphere. Great range of vegetarian pastas and pizza’s. I’ve taken many friends here. Perfect for a romantic dinner for two to meal out with friends. There is plenty of parking outside. They are always busy so make a reservation. Generous portions. Can’t wait to come back. They also have takeaway option.
