Amazing food! Reasonable prices and lovely staff. What more do you need?

We’ve been coming to Bobolis for 5 years now and the last few visits have been poor. Every time we come with our son, we’ve been put all alone on another side of the restaurant away from everyone else so there’s no atmosphere. The waitress wasn’t friendly and didn’t even acknowledge my baby. When another table came with a baby she was acknowledging them straight away. The food was ok but over priced for what we got. We’ve noticed the prices have gone up but the food isn’t better and service definitely isn’t worth it. Such a shame as we didn’t feel welcome and weren’t asked if the food was ok or if we wanted any more drinks. Edit; after emailing management we visited again and this time had a very different experience. Food and service were both spot on.

Fabulous pizzas, hand-made doughs, fresh bread & olive oil and interesting authentic Italian toppings. Topped off with great personal service and a nice ambience. The owners know what they are doing, as does the chef.

Lovely place, knowledgeable and helpful hosts. Lovely food. Didn't feel rushed at all even though was a busy Saturday lunchtime. Had a perfect catch up with friends there today

Probably one of the, if not the best Italian restaurants I've been to. We went on a Saturday afternoon where it was relatively quiet but still had a nice atmosphere with a range of table sizes and guests. Extensive menu with again one of the best pizzas I've had. Even the bread and olives were great! All reasonably priced delivered to the table by friendly staff who genuinely seemed to enjoy the food on offer. Can't ask for much more! Highly recommended!

Always superb, a warm welcome and an imaginative menu, including specials - especially, but not exclusively, if you like fresh fish/seafood!

I loved it. Fabulous food. Fabulous service. Fabulous atmosphere. I wish it was nearer to home. I attended a private birthday party for about 30 people, service was amazing, and the food was hot, very difficult to attain when serving this number of people. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We had a works meeting of 11 people. Two of the starters arrived shortly after the first 9. It was slightly irritating at the time however without asking the cost of the 2 later starters was removed from the final bill. Class act. The food was exceptional and still being discussed this morning.

A lovely family run restaurant. Staff were cheerful and couldn't do enough for you. The chef even made my daughter the best carbonara I've ever tasted, which wasn't on the menu. I had the seafood risotto which was delicious, followed by the best tiramisu. Would highly recommend a visit, and I'll definitely be returning.

What a fantastic place! The food is ground-breaking and inspired, the staff are wonderful and the atmosphere cannot be beaten. Possible the best restaurant in Leicester. You will love it!

Fabulous food, never disappoints! We hadn't visited for 4 years and it was as good as ever ....

We really love Boboli’s, the food is exquisite, service is very good, we took our 10 month old son there and had lunch on Saturday - they were very accommodating and attentive. They now have a Vegetarian & Vegan/Plant-based menu.

We had been very keen to check out Boboli based on their menu (and pics of said food on their Instagram). We were not disappointed! We’ll have to make a trip back to experience more of the menu because there was so much to choose from. Absolutely delicious!

Another delightful meal at Bobili. I love this place so much.

The starters were OK, mains were shocking, 25.00 for a small piece of over cookef trout, served with peas and burnt bubble and squeak, my husband had the monkfish tails over cooked, asked without the salami sausage butter as pescatarian and came with the salami butter. Such a shame as sister restaurant lighthouse was good

We’ve eaten here at least 8 times and on each occasion our bill has been wrong ( restaurants advantage ) I understand mistakes happen but this really has become ridiculous. Menu also changed and for the worse . The food was lovely but extremely limited and not enough pasta dishes. On the whole the mains are expensive ( not sure why) and you have to order sides on top . We won’t be coming back anytime soon . Most disappointing.

Just eaten at Boboli’s this afternoon and everything was absolutely spot on! Wine was excellent, Food was superb; I had the monkfish from the specials and my wife had the pork and both were excellent both in taste and presentation, we also had a cream, cheese & Nduja potato side which was out of this world. Service was excellent and Tracey’s tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had, truly excellent and Boboli’s has now became our favourite place to eat, thanks guys and all the best!!

Average which is a shame as previously it’s always been top notch - missed our starter completely so went straight to main course and no bread provided to the table despite it being given to others.

We celebrated my wife’s 70th birthday here last evening. It was a wonderful evening from every point of view; food, service and atmosphere; nothing was too much for the staff. Thanks to everyone at Boboli for making a special occasion even better.

I've eaten pizza all over the world and I can honestly say that this pizza was taken to another level. The cannaloni was such a wonderful surprise. A glorious assault on my taste buds, the mixture of leeks and crab with pea and mint puree married in an unimaginable way. My friends lasagne was a perfect balance of flavors. The generous portion was both gourmet and hearty.. The food was fresh, clearly prepared with high quality ingredients and served volcanically hot. The setting is atmospheric and the staff were friendly in the nicest possible way. Thanks Boboli you made my Friday evening superb. I liked the pace of the restaurant very much and am overjoyed that I have found such a treasure here in our county. I feel very fortunate.

Food is the same price but you only get half the amount .

Amazing food every time and drinks are much the same, great service too. The truffle pizza was incredible and they are also happy to box up any leftovers. All of their spritz drinks are a firm favourite!

Went for dinner just before Christmas and it was packed. The food and service was spectacular. Good selection of specials but the menu was small enough to maintain the awesome quality of everything we ate. It took us a while to decide what we were having as everything sounded so good. Definitely recommend.

First time visiting Boboli - can say the service and the food was excellent does not disappoint, would highly recommend real authentic Italian dishes and great staff

First time eating here. Such a hidden gem near leicester. Beautiful restaurant, lovely and cozy ambience, great food, amazing staff. The deserts were out of the world. They are very spacious parking as well. Overall an amazing Italian restaurant. Highly recommended.

We visited last night. We both had the prawn starter, they were very overcooked, far too brown, we sent them back, they happily replaced them. We were never asked if the replacement was OK. They were OK but not very tasty, lacked seasoning. My husband had the anchovy pizza which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the lambs liver, it was nice, slightly sinewy in parts and for me personally the sauce was too sweet. The fresh vegetables were very nice. When they served our main course both our glasses were empty, no one asked if we wanted another drink. Throughout the entire evening we found the service to be impersonal and cold. There was no engagement, when asked if we wanted a sweet, menus were literally dropped on the table. The table we were given was lacking space and squashed against a wall in a corner, as we only booked the night before we thought that was all that was available. There was a table for 2 in the next area, which was very spacious, and was empty all night, why didn't you give us that table? It was a disappointing night, there really is no excuse for poor service. Our bill was £95 and for that money we expect great service and food.

The food was absolutely first class. You will not be disappointed, Boboli is a gem.

My first visit with my family this Sunday. Some of us had Sunday roasts and a couple of lasagne and pizza inc some desserts. All were superb and my beef roast dinner was delicious. Great friendly service and yummy desserts. Will definitely be costing again. I would recommend a visit if your in the area.

Family birthday, fabulous food including one vegetarian! Four course lunch menu is really excellent value and not one course where you don't absolutely fancy something!!

Lovely restaurant and fantastic food. I just wish there was a bit more pasta on the menu.

The menu choice is not great. Their pizzas are mostly vegetarian and not a great choice of pastas. But the food was very fresh and the atmosphere is good.

Really good pizza and panna cotta with figs. Convivial atmosphere. Service friendly but not too attentive.

Brilliant night out would definitely recommend

Beautiful place and meal Was superb. Our only problem was we had a nine month old baby who was gurgling and chatting( as they do) and we were told she could be heard throughout the restaurant. We were also presented with a dustpan and brush to clean up the breadsticks which she had dropped on the floor. I am sure there are children who are far more noisier and make a lot more mess. It left us feeling very uncomfortable.

Very nice food, I really like it.

A fantastic find for foodies! We were able to eat alfresco - with cushions for extra comfort. Blankets and water bottles provided for chillier times if needed and parasols for the sunnier days. The staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. As for the food it was delicious and was a par with our memories of dining out with friends in Pavia. Also noteworthy, the toilets were clean and well tended to and parking available at the back. We will be back.

Lovely ambience and staff, starter and pizza delicious. Blankets provided for when the evening cooled. Quite pricey, but nice for a treat. Last time we went I'd give 4 stars but this time there were a few mix ups with the order so.....

Superb food, friendly and intelligent service. Great kids' menu! Some of the mains could have been larger, as could the salad (that was supposed to be shareable but wasn't), but some items were not charged for, so 5 stars it is!

Love Boboli but they shouldn't change things without warning: completely changed their Testa Rossa pizza but didn't change the name, so what was a pepperoni pizza no longer has any pepperoni on it and bears no resemblance to the delicious original (very disappointing); and, secondly, their espresso martinis now have Frangelico in them (not a classic ingredient and completely changes the flavour of the classic recipe!).

My son and daughter in law decided to take us out for a meal. We were very impressed with the restaurant and the food. The food was excellent, full of flavour. We ordered some potato and cheese, it was lovely. Plus a boil of chips. The portion of chips, which we were told was for two, was on the small side, or perhaps we just eat to much? Initially they undercharged us, only charging for three meals not four. We pointed out there error and sorted out the bill.

Great ambience and very friendly staff! Children welcome and the food was really tasty too 😋 😊

Best Sunday roast I've had out in a long long time

Driving from Hertfordshire to Stoke on Trent. We needed something to eat on route. Not planned, didn't have a reservation. It was very busy and still found a table for us. Extremely good service, food was excellent. One of the best unplanned experiences I've had dining. Highly recommended.

Nicely presented restaurant with a friendly service but somewhat overpriced for the size of their portions

Probably due to numerous economic challenges but nowhere near as good as it used to be. Hope things can improve for you.

A little gem of a restaurant, my first visit here and the owners and staff were lovely. The food was incredible, definitely the best pistachio ice cream I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing!

Lovely food, great staff and brilliant atmosphere. This was my first visit, we were met and taken to our reserved table. The staff were welcoming and attentive. As both of us are vegetarian the extensive menu options quickly reduced. However our choices were well prepared and presented. We both had the very acceptable house wine. A definite addition to my list for future visit.

Top quality authentic Italian food and their fixed price menu offers really good value too.

We were impressed that the chef went out of his way to prepare off the menu dishes for us... all the dishes we ordered were excellent. Will be back again soon.
