Zizzi - Market Harborough in Harborough

Took the family here today for lunch, excellent choice in the menu options, the mains were delicious and a good sized portion for the money, though I did think the side options were expensive for small amounts you get! Drinks are a bit pricey too. Service was brilliant we definitely enjoyed the food and would absolutely go again.

So … the first photograph is from the Zizzi’s menu from their website … and the second photograph is what I actually had served to me tonight … I’ve had this dish twice before and it was delicious. Tonight was a very big disappointment. It had no flavour except for a very unusual back soapy taste. The pasta was slimly and totally over cooked with no sauce. There were no courgettes and the portion was smaller and hidden by a mound of pea shoots to cover the four king prawns I found in this £17.25 dish!! I did complain and was allowed a glass of Prosecco off my bill at the end of the meal. Gerry the waiter on the other hand was so very lovely. 2/5 ⭐️⭐️ sorry Zizzi !

A bit noisy in some areas but the staff sat us in a quieter spot. Food and service were excellent

Easy to book on line, lovely warm greetings on arrival and excellent food and service.

Nice food and clean and tidy building. My only concern was waiting time but to their defence I can say they had a couple birthdays going at the time.

The gluten free sticky pig pizza was really tasty but it's a shame they don't have gf menu anymore & hand you a big folder instead!

Zizi food is always great but have noticed that customer service isnt always of the standard. This was definately not the case at Zizi Market Harborough the staff and service were excellent from start to finish. Thank you for a great night.

Having been regular visitors to Zizzi in Harborough for 15 years it’s noticeable the decline in ‘value for money’. Service was slow in part to the increase focus of staff on ‘deliveroo type’ orders which appears to be prioritised over seated customers and even clearing tables with many tables still having dirty plates and glasses to be cleared. I mentioned poor value for money in that you no longer get that small gesture of free ‘pasta crisps’ when you arrive, it’s now a £3 appetiser!! Almost all starters are nearing £9-10 with mains at near £20 and in the most part the basic ingredients being pizza dough with a heap of leaves or a pasta dish with 3 pieces of chicken! Seems Zizzi is now playing that great game of charging more for less and the British public being the mugs that still pay for it, can’t see us visiting here much more, sad!

Had a family birthday meal here and the food was excellent! We were seated in a bit of an awkward place though for a large party that had booked in advance. It looked like they threw a last minute table together right next to the kitchen/walk way.

I’m gluten intolerant and had a fabulous lunch and the best gf desert for years. Definitely have to visit again soon

Whenever we visit here they have run out of something, sods law it's normally the main course I want. The food is good, and the service okay.

Four of us had a very delicious meal at Zizzis, the staff especially Hilda were very professional and added to the very positive experience, we had such a good time, the bonus was we could use our Tesco's vouchers too 😊

Market Harborough is a good town to look around so zizzi is ideal for lunch. Lovely food - a bit pricey, great staff. Cheesecake delicious.

Walked in the restaurant. Was guided to my table. Table was uneven. Eat the food. Food was pretty ok. Paid. Card declined.

We came for a work meal out with quite a lot of us and it honestly could not have been a better night. A massive thank you to both Beth and Jenna who mainly looked after our big table ensuring we had everything we needed, when we wanted more drinks they took orders to keep everyone happy and they kept checking up on us. Everyone was so pleased with the food and how great it was and that it all came at perfect time and no long waits so a thank you to the chefs on the night. I had my colleagues all so pleased with the great service we received that we definitely will be back in the future. Once again, thank you for the friendly service and atmosphere we received, it doesn’t go unnoticed!

Surely there is better pizza and pasta in the UK? Rustic thin crust pizza was rather thick and doughy. The new black currant cheesecake was the best bite of the night.

Ruby provided me and my family a great service, she was continuous in asking if was all okay! She has a bubbly essence to her and is an asset to zizis!

Visited on sat the 13th July, with my wife and 2 children. Very impressed, the food was great but our waitress Ruby was awesome. So many restaurants now deliver poor service, but Ruby was great, showed all the aspects of an excellent waitress, always checking we were ok and showing us attention. This young lady is a credit to Zizzi, well done..

I went to Zizzis for a quick mid week meal out - I hadn’t been in a while and wasn’t sure what to have, but Ruby was absolutely fantastic and gave some tip top recommendations. The food came quickly and service was excellent. Thank you!

We had a good table of our choice. The food was tasty and fast to the table. Both the risotto and red wine ragu were terrific. David and his colleagues were friendly, helpful and attentive. My gluten intolerance was well cared for. I would suggest an alternative zero alcohol lager on your books as the Peroni tastes watery and less tasty than many alternatives out there. Thanks.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Zizzi’s yesterday. Our waitress, I believe her name was Alahna, she was very welcoming and kind, checking we were happy with everything. I can recommend the spaghetti bolognaise, a classic but so delicious! Overall it was a lovely meal out with great service, I will be back again!

Had a really good experience with Market Harborough zizi this evening. Lovely food, quick and fast service. Abi was my waiter and she was amazing, really helpful and well mannered.

Our server abigail made our experience very enjoyable and was full of compliments and lovely comments, she was great at recommending different food options and this resulted in me and my boyfriend having a lovely anniversary dinner.

Service was fast and friendly, the lasagne was amazing and tasted fresh and the pizza was cooked perfectly would deffo recommend. Our waitress was called Alahna, she was very approachable and seemed passionate about her work making sure we had everything we needed.

The food was fresh however the portions especially the mushroom risotto was like a starter and for nearly £18 was poor value for money. When you leave a restaurant and need a sandwich at home doesn’t leave a good taste in your mouth……we will be eating somewhere else next time I’m afraid as we left disappointed

One waitress had a terrible attitude and misinformed us on the menu. Got a better waitress after double checking the menu situation. However we got charged £7.50 for a children's ice cream despite adult ice cream being £5.75. Won't be back.

Atmosphere was fine. Service was good. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Nothing wrong with the pasta but I’ve had better in a cafe.

We had a great experience in this restaurant in Market Harborough. The food was excellent, the service was first class and the ambience was great. Visited this Zizzi s regularly never had a bad meal and the service is really good . My wife had the new dish prawns on a skewer with pasta ,and I had a Pizza both excellent. With a nice bottle of organic Italian red . Nicely decorated restaurant with a good atmosphere. Join there club and you get good midweek offers .

Overpriced but decent food. Nice restaurant and the staff were nice but cor blimey guv, a tad overpriced for what was essentially a pizza and brewski. Oh well that's Meerkat Harboro for you.

Great service for lunch. The food was very tasty and plentiful, and hot. It has been a while since we were there and felt the prices had risen quite a lot. It was fairly quiet and plenty of seats to choose from. A pleasant experience.

Didn't have dinner here just popped in for dessert due to me loving the chocolate brownie sundae from Zizzi's which I have eaten in many Zizzi's. It was nice but no where near as good as other locations slightly disappointed

Starter and mains were fine, we then ordered sweet, assume it was the manager who came to us to say they hadn’t got what we wanted we the proceeded to try and order 2 more different ones to be told each time they hadn’t got them at this point we gave up trying and went to McDonalds, why they couldn’t have just told us what they hadn’t got in the first place

Always a good experience in Zizzi. It’s definitely the most reliable restaurant in town in terms of knowing you are going to have good food & a nice time. Service is friendly but efficient; they have built a good team with Tomek as manager. He has been there a number of years and is a real asset to the company. Food is always delicious. Any mishaps are dealt with swiftly and without fuss. A good variety on the menu so there’s something for everyone. It’s hard to get a personal/individual feel in a chain restaurant but Zizzi in MH definitely has managed this. Thank you for another lovely visit!

Always consistent: good food, good service, good atmosphere.

The food was excellent and I have no fault in it's quality or quantity. The restaurant is crammed with tables which makes the atmosphere feel cramped. Due to the sheer volume the servers are sped about and led to what seemed like a rushed service.
