The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Lovely place with nice atmosphere and delicious food and wine! Highly recommend! Staff very friendly. Everything was delicious:-)

Booked for my wife's 40th Birthday meal for a group of 10 people as it has been our fav restaurant for a number of years. We turned up and the restaurant was closed. Fuming is an understatement. Luckily the restaurant (Aegean) across the road cut fit us in and saved the night with a nice meal. Massively disappointing that what was a very good restaurant is now being run like this and has put a stain on the night.

Excellent anniversary meal here with my husband and two daughters. Food was excellent, service was great and very friendly 😊 thank you.

Havent been here for a quite few months but was surprised by the fact it was half empty on a Saturday night at half term .It was always packed when the previous owners had it.Also completely gobsmacked by the hike in prices £20 for a pizza ,£6 for a pint of beer and £8 for a pudding!! No wonder it wasnt busy .Also the previous owners always used to have a wood fire burning but whenever Ive been here since it's always chilly. Food is ok but nothing to write home about -the pizzas have hardly any toppings on them even when you order extras so a pretty easy way to make a vast profit on a pizza. Its such a shame as it is the only restaurant in Pateley so youre stuck with it as the only option if you dont want pub grub.

Disappointing after the glowing reviews. Food was average, and service was mediocre. Maybe it was an off night, but unfortunately we won't be around to give it a second chance.

I had lasagne. It was very poor. They did not bat an eye lid when I said not much beef in it. As if to say this was normal. Yhe rest of the food was good . Leonard Quinn Chairman off pp Tra

Good value restaurant with friendly staff.

I organised a corporate dinner for 40 colleagues and it was fabulous! Nico and his team we so helpful in the lead-up to the event so I was fairly confident that any last minute adjustments could be accommodated and they were! We were given an area for our exclusive use and it was decorated beautifully. The food was great and was complimented on by many of our team. I would wholeheartedly recommend Riccardo's Bloody Mary - one of the best I've had! Thank you Nico, Stella, Riccardo and team. I will certainly be recommending your restaurant to others.

I had lunch here with my wife on our recent visit to Bognor. It was our first ever visit. We thought that the food was excellent and the service was competent. There was a good choice of dishes on the menu. If we lived locally we would probably be frequent visitors. We will return on our next visit to the area.

Was disappointed for our night out on a Saturday First we had to ask can we order some drinks Food was ok but the pasta dish I had which was chicken and chorizo it was hunt the chicken very minute pieces in the dish the Seabass had very little on the plate and expensive for what it was. Ordered a bottle of wine for the table which came unopened and we had to ask the girl can we have it opened then brought us a cork screw for just to do it till we said please open it for us. No atmosphere and only 3 tables had dinners on them

Most inviting place to eat with the friendliest of staff and delicious food. I would highly recommend M2 pizza pasta for anyone!

So impressed with Valentino’s. They have their own very special version of pizza base, thin, crispy and delicious! The staff were so lovely and jolly and the restaurant has a good feel about it, with lots of happy customers. Laid back but higher end. I found the value for money to be very good. Will return. Thank you.

Not sure, but authentic Italian meal (not that I'm a judge) definitely will be back. Had calzone it was enormous, struggled through bravely.

We love Bella Napoli and it.never fails to impress. All of the food is amazing and can be catered to most needs (I am vegetarian and had the truffle and pancetta risotto - obviously minus the pancetta and substituted with additional vegetables) it's some where we really should frequent more often

Lovely restaurant with modern furnishings. Attentive and friendly staff. Only criticism is the calamari was rubbery. Gorgeous cocktails and the spaghetti and meatballs was delicious. Generous portions. Wouldnt hesitate to go back.
