Took my family here for food and was amazing! Atmosphere amazing, Staff Amazing, The food AMAZING!! The best food I have eaten in a long time. Thank you for a great experience. We will now be regulars! ❤️

We was made to feel very welcome, food was fantastic every bite was very tasty, fantastic service.

This is possibly the best Italian food I have tasted in the UK. Beautifully presented, clearly made with authentic Italian produce. I simply cannot fault the service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We have been several times and have never been disappointed. We always book in advance as it can get busy but not overcrowded. Well done to Della Casa.

I went to this Italian restaurant with my grandson. The meals were very tasty from a simple menu. The della cassa chicken was delicious. My grandson had a child’s pizza which was enormous but he complimented the cheese and ham. The restaurant was very quiet when we went but looked lively before we left

We arrived at nearly 9pm on a Saturday night. I imagine everyone was counting down to finish time, but we were treated like nothing was too much trouble. The waiting staff and manager all took their time to look after us and help us decide what to eat. The food arrived quickly and allergies were catered for. Everything was delicious although portions were extremely generous. I had the spaghetti polpette and luckily get to enjoy it for lunch as well. Would recommend this restaurant.

Food was good. The service was fine until our waitress went home as we finished the main course. After half hour I went over to the bar and asked if they could make a coffee. Then the waiter came over and said we couldn’t have coffee as the coffee machine had been cleaned. I explained that we had been waiting for half hour. His reply was the waitress never handed over our table, which was strange as the table next to us was served by the same waitress and he managed serve them. He asked several times did we want to speak to the manager after declining twice on the 3rd time I said I would. He went straight over and told the manager then made a coffee for us. five minutes later the manager came over. In that five minutes we watched the manager laying tables he even laid the table next to us before he came over & gave the same reason as the waiter. When we asked him why it took so long to come over his reply was he was busy & had to get tables ready for tomorrow.

Went for a meal last night, think we need to get reward points! This place is amazing whenever we have friends or family visiting we take them there. The staff are always polite and courteous, and the food is always delicious, I think we have tried nearly all of the main meals and would recommend Della Casa. Thank you once again for a fantastic meal.

Just excellent all round. Gorgeous food that’s so more-ish! The customer service is second to none. The staff are so lovely, friendly, polite, attentive and they listen to feedback (not that there is ever much of it!). If you want a brilliant meal, don’t hesitate to go to Della Casa.

Went for a birthday meal , Monday night we decided to take a chance so didn’t book ahead . A few tables already eating (7pm) . Staff very helpful and efficient. Food piping hot and very tasty .

the calamari for starter was gorgeous and the atmosphere was amazing however my cotto pizza unfortunately was way too drowned in garlic oil which i think they used, all of my friends i went with agreed with me and said way too much garlic was used and it overpowered any other flavour. aside from that everything else was perfect

Food was delectable, waiters were on point with the timings to take our orders, take plates away etc. great for a family night or a date night, only thing wrong with the place is that my stomach is too small and i cant eat more of it

Such a disappointing birthday meal last night I ordered the signature dish of a Risotto with prawns and sea bass. My bowl consisted of boiled rice ( not risotto rice) 3 prawns and a side of sea bass which was very fatty. No taste , flavour at all. I don’t know how the chef felt happy to send that dish out of their kitchen. On my feedback I was asked if I would like to re order but if you do that you end up eating on your own as your table have all finished. Not ideal, !

What can i say, i took my girlfriend here for her birthday meal and when i say i could not of asked for anything better i whole heartedly mean that. The team were accommodating to the highest possible level, the atmosphere was lovely, the staff went above and beyond to look after us and the food was absolutely beautiful. If you have worked in the food industry you can normally find details that can be improved almost anywhere, but at Della Casa that was not the case. This wonderful family run restaurant gets a 10/10 in every single aspect and thats before we mention just how affordable it was. You get quality thats worthy of any special occasion at a price point that welcomes regular dinners, lunches or dates. You will not be disappointed!

Best restaurant in Dursley. The place we keep going back to. Also our favourite spot for a nice drink. The food is delicious, service is friendly, and prices are reasonable. Best of all is their weekday lunch menu deal: 2 courses £13.95, 3 courses £16.95.

I arranged a surprise birthday lunch party for my sister and about 20 guests. We had the whole upstairs dining area for our group and the restaurant manger (Steve) worked with me in advance to made it a wonderful, memorable occasion for us all. We had a delicious selection of appetizers and drinks while mingling about, then sat down for the main course and dessert. Everyone hd a great time and were all well-pleased with their selections from the al la carte menu. Portions were ample and the quality excellent. I heartily recommend Della Casa whether for friends and family dining or a party. If a large party contact the manager, Steve, to make arrangements.

Della Casa hosted my dear friend's surprise 70th birthday lunch. We were a large party and had reserved the first floor. (Although we were all capable of climbing the stairs, it's worth knowing that there are loos up there too if you have elderly or little people with you!) The staff were very professional - welcoming, smiley, friendly and efficient. They checked on us without being obtrusive and made sure we had all we needed. The food was fantastic! We had preordered and all received our delicious chosen meals without fuss. We left as full and very happy guests! Wonderful memories for the birthday lady!! Thank you.

Visit this restaurant! The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Brilliant portion size, great prices and really friendly staff. We went for a late lunch on a Saturday, had 3 courses and a bottle of wine and left with a smile on my face, needing a nap and with a happy bank account. I'm vegetarian and had lots of choices of food. I really recommend the goats cheese and red onion starter and the lemon cheesecake for dessert.

Nice venue for big groups , tables well spaced out , lots of room , they also have tables upstairs if you prefer , don’t forget to ask when booking

I found a huge dead fly in my pasta dish. I politely took it back and they said they’d make me a new one, however I didn’t eat much of it as I was put off. They then kept it on the bill so I politely asked if it could be removed and the server went to get his manager. The manager came back and said “on this occasion I will remove it as you were a nice table” - implying if I’d been rude about it, not a good table or it happens again, they won’t remove it off the bill. He did not apologise to me at all, instead made out like he was doing me a favour and walked away. I won’t be eating here again.

I’m very disappointed that having taken steps to explain my dietary needs in advance there was very little done to try to provide a reasonable lunch. A request for a vegetarian low carb salad resulted in initially being served bacon. Once they removed the bacon I was left with awful lettuce drenched in a very salty dressing, a small handful of tomatoes and some slices of what I think was mozzarella. There were also some croutons which I can’t eat because they are high in sugars. I know Italian style food is far from ideal for those of us with diabetes and I would normally avoid it but it was a friend’s birthday. I was not able to complain at the time as this was a birthday meal but I really want to register my horror at the lack of imagination.

One rainy night in Dursley we found this restaurant by chance and we were so glad we did. Service was first class with staff going that extra mile to make the evening we had really memorable. Food came beautifully served and presented so nicely. Quality of ingredients top notch and tasted superb. Would not hesitate to viisit again if anywhere nearby again. Thank you.

Have eaten in here/ from here 4 times now. Always fresh delicious food. The staff are wonderful and attentive. One small error with a cocktail on our first visit was rectified immediately with no fuss and an apology. A very comfortable place to enjoy a dressy meal out or a casual bite to eat! What more can you ask for!

What a nice surprise! A smiling and efficient team. But above all a delicious meal. We had the three-color tomato and bruschetta as a starter and then some seafood pasta. A treat. Sufficiently plentiful for two with a glass of wine and a bottle of water £58. We will come back

We have had several meals here and everything has been excellent. As we always try to support local businesses we decided to book our Golden Wedding celebration at the Della Casa. The function room looked amazing, decorated with golden balloons, the staff were more than helpful, we had invited the "Singing Waiters" to entertain our guests, they were provided with everything they needed. The food, as always, was excellent, as was the wine. Thanks to Steve, his Mum and all the staff. Our special day was amazing.

Another truly wonderful meal from Della Casa. We have been a few times now including; Valentine’s, Children’s party and last night for a special anniversary. Food was amazing and catered excellent (again) for my wife who is Coeliac. It’s so important to have the trust and we have. Service was prompt, efficient but not rushed. Fresh, tasty, excellent value and a nice atmosphere too. Thanks again to all the staff - we will be back!

We passed the restaurant during a visit to Dursley earlier in the day and so decided to take a risk and book for dinner. I booked online with no problem at all. We arrived, but it did seem like either the booking hadn't been picked up or it hadn't logged on the system, but the server let us feel like it wasn't a problem and showed us to a table. We noticed the tables had good distance between each other, so it felt like you could have a good conversation without being heard by nearby tables. It was early evening and already the restaurant was half full, which felt like a good sign. All the staff were friendly and courteous and they came to apologise for the delay in our drinks arriving, owing to a large party being served upstairs. This was fantastic communication because it set our expectation and we then felt relaxed knowing everything was under control. The menu was extensive and the food was absolutely delicious - our compliments to the chef - and the portion sizes very generous. We underestimated the amount of food and so the staff were happy to box up what we couldn't eat, to take home. The wine list was perfect and well priced. All in all, our experience was excellent and I would recommend Della Cassa. The style of the restaurant is contemporary, but if there was to be a note of recommendation, it would be to have some sort of soft furnishings such as curtains and/or cushions to absorb the noise. We found that even though the tables had a good distance between, the acoustics of the room were harsh. We really struggled to have a conversation because we felt like we were competing with other diners. In the end we pretty much gave up chatting as it was too much like hard work. Such a small addition would make a massive difference. If we ever return to this part of the country, we will be sure to revisit.

Duck breast, initially well over cooked. Well done and rubbery. Sent back and refired. U fortunately the outdated orange sauce was very uninspiring and the duck was unseasoned. The mussel pasta was good. No complaints. Pizzas are a bit to thick and bready but not terrible. Wanna cota was nice but somewhat ruined by what taste like a store bought strawberry syrup that you would expect drizzled over your 99 cone. The browny is odd. Closer to a uncooked dough than a browny. Some evidence of nice cooking scattered amongst dissappintment.

Food is fantastic, have been a few times before and it never disappoints. Service can be a bit slow and waiting times for food can be long, even when the restaurant is quiet. However the food certainly makes up for it.

Refused to make arrangements for disabilities. Party of 10 Service was below poor, not asked for any allergy’s at table when ordering or arriving. Ordered a dish that has been advised is dairy free previously, arrived very obviously not dairy free. Another member ordered same meal and looked completely different, after complaining server admitted that they were different meal being served. Was told I would need to pay both meals If I wanted it swapped, rather than just swapping untouched meal out for something else. Brought meal back to table despite dairy allergy. Staff were more than happy to allow me to sit there with no meal. Server was giving evil looks at us after this, sat waiting for bill and no drink top ups. Manager pulled me to one side to explain, but again misinformation given and different to what was said when partner complained to manager. Despite knowing I have a milk allergy after this, I was offered gluten free panna cotta. No understanding of allergy’s. Overall poor experience and will not be returning.

The best local restaurant by far, always a great meal and service

The food was tasty, but had a very long wait between courses. The young lady who eventually served our meal threw the plates on to the table we obviously had inconvenienced her!!?

Visited this evening for my Birthday meal. Couldn't fault it. Lovely staff and delicious food. Pasta, prawns and Mussels all beautifully cooked and seasoned perfectly!

The staff at Della Casa accommodated a big group of us at late notice, and were extremely attentive. The food and wine were excellent, and the staff were polite and kind to the kids. Would highly recommend.

Wow, what a surprise! We walked in here wanting a quick and tasty meal after a day of walking the Cotswold Way and were really pleasantly surprised. Service was very quick, professional, and attentive. The pizza was outstanding and I thought the primavera pasta was very good. We’re both vegetarians and were excited by all the options available. Even for hungry walkers, the serving sizes were very large and the price perfectly reasonable. They also kept us well topped up with tap water. Nice interior, feeling sophisticated but comfortable. Would definitely recommend if you’re passing through.

Italian food, mostly Italian staff, wide range of food options. Excellent service We are Regular Visitors and never disappointed.

The staff was lovely and kind, but the food was not worth the price: not Italian food in terms of quality, the pizza dough was not good and weirdly sweet, the risotto was cooked ok but the souce was a bit watery, parmigiano was definitely a bad one, nothing to do with Italian ones (I’m Italian). We took: 2 pizze, risotto ai frutti di mare, pasta alla carbonara, insalata di spinaci and olives

Last minute booking on New Years Eve. Very welcoming staff, nice atmosphere and lovely food. We had a lovely evening and so glad they managed to fit us (family of 4) in on NYE.

Excellent food was had by all of our party. Service was a little slow but likely down to it being New Years Eve & maybe slightly short on staff. We were down stairs & it was quite quiet as far as atmosphere goes, upstairs was possibly a lot different. Very good though & would return 👍🏼

Food was lovely, we were there for my dad's 84th birthday. One of our waiters was lovely however the experience was spoiled by the miserable mood of another waitress throughout our visit.

We had a lovely lunch, 2 courses from the lunch menu £12.45. I had seabass which was beautiful (albeit small but ideal for lunch) and my wife had chicken tagliatelle which was nice and spicy, not too hot. Then I had the biggest slice of cheesecake ever, which was very nice, but now I need a sleep! The toilet was clean and functional, but could do with a bit of attention (some washers replaced, bit better presented perhaps).

Upstairs is good for families, downstairs more of a couples thing. Good food, had the signature dish Rissotto branzino (sea bass). Service fine. Upstairs lacking atmosphere.

Although we live locally, this was our first visit to Della Casa. We were a party of 6 (spanning 3 generations) and we visited on a weekday lunchtime for a family meal. Both the food and the service were excellent. The 2 course lunch was really good value at £12.95. We are happy to recommend Della Casa to others and plan to visit again .... soon. Update October 2023 - we have now visited on a number of occasions for lunch.

Great restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. We were a big group of 10 family, including two children, celebrating my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. The team were extremely helpful in accommodating menu preferences & the meals were delicious. We were visiting family but when local again I would certainly like to come to Della Casa for a meal out.

I visited here on a Friday evening. Table for 1. 😊 The staff were excellent. I was upstairs, and they had a large birgroup to accommodate, but I received really attentive service. Delicious food adapted for my gf requirements. Fabulous flavour. Really enjoyed it, and a very nicely presented liquor coffee to finish. Highly recommended.

Brilliant Italian! By far one of the best I’ve been to outside of Italy. Really is one of the best places to eat in Dursley.

My wife chose this restaurant as they have a fantastic gluten free menu. Always great service and good food. No doubt we will be back soon. Thanks Della Casa.

Ate here whilst staying in Dursley. Located just off the main high street this restaurant offers excellent food in a very comfortable setting. We had the gluten free pasta bolognaise which was delicious and the sea bass with prawns, again excellent. Staff were very friendly and would definitely recommend if in the area.

A massive thanks to all the staff at Della Case for hosting Amy daughter and 9 friends for a birthday lunch! The food was really good and enjoyed by all, service was friendly and patient with 10 young, excited kids! My wife and I had meals from the main menu which were both thoroughly enjoyed. I had linguine pescatore which was simply delicious and my wife equally enjoyed her chicken salad. But will save the last word for the Tiramisu - best I’ve ever had. Light yet rich and creamy, tasty but not overpowering. Will certainly be back for a more relaxed , grown up meal soon! Thank you again!!

WOW and WOW! My friend and I arrived at the restaurant mid-afternoon yesterday. My friend had been here before and said it was fantastic. We both had Cannelloni and well, what a treat. My working background is in 5-star hotels all over the world and I have tasted the best of the best from many Italian chefs. However, this was the best I have ever tasted. It was a masterpiece, I am sure a la minute, fresh spinach, massive portions, just bang on delicious with what I thought was a frisson of cinnamon that just hit the spot for flavour. Superb. My friend had a side of green beans and, again, a large portion, fresh and yummy. Thank you to the lovely staff and a chef who is obviously amazing and we can’t wait to sample more of the menu!

Tasty food, quick and attentive service, and Italian music in the background, makes for a great dining out experience! Not cheap but not overpriced either; the set lunch menu was good value for money.

Decent food, we found the pasta dishes were especially good. The pizza was also tasty but a bit too much cheese, if there is such a thing…The service was exceptional.

I had mussels and they were absolutely amazing. The sirloin steak was actually cooked to perfection and the best I've ever had

The food was excellent and the service was friendly and not pushy. The sauce in the Cosse Crema was delicious and the sweets were to die for. In fact we could not fault any aspect of the meal. Coming from London would I visit again ? absolutely. Expect to see us again when we are next in the area.

We have recently moved near to Dursley and this has become my to go to restaurant. We have been many times. Not once has the food or staff failed to meet expectations. Food is always very good and affordable. Service is excellent. I have taken our various family members with their children. Tables are large allowing space for artwork, and children are very well catered for. The Chefs are completely flexible to meal variations. What stands out for me is the consistently very good food on every occasion. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant. Thank you to all the lovely staff.
