Perfect pizza, nice and quiet with excellent service. We love going to Oldstones, best pizza in Gloucestershire!!

Had 2 pizzas here on my recent week's visit to Nailsworth for the football. The Valentino and Maiale Crocante were both delicious with a lovely, easy-to-cut base. Looking forward to my next visit - Ruxi and Antonio have brought the very best of Italian cuisine to the Five Valleys.

Seriously good pizza well made and really friendly service, highly recommend this for anyone, great fresh organic ingredients.

We tried this place on a Sunday evening as we were staying in the area. The guy serving was really friendly and we planned to pick up a pizza to take away, then spotted they sold wine so opted to eat in instead! The pizza arrived in less than 10 minutes as promised, and covered with fresh veggies including artichokes, so tasty!! The crust had the perfect flavour and oven kiss you don't always get! We will definitely be back again soon when in the area! ;)

This restaurant has been a firm family favourite for their wonderful pizzas. They have extended their menus to offer wonderful pasta dishes and amazing desserts. My husband tried the new Italian sausage pasta and rates it highly. Fab!

We chose this place as most Nailsworth restaurants were a bit over priced and this was much better value. The pizzas were tasty and everything was clearly made fresh with good quality ingredients. Unfortunately, because the pizzas had such generous amounts of toppings, they became quite soggy. Because the flavour combinations were really good, I feel like it would only take small tweaks for the food to be great.

A small pizza place in the centre of Nailsworth. The pizzas were excellent and the service friendly and efficient. I had the Sapori di Aglio pizza which had generous ham and mushroom toppings with just the right amount of garlic oil. My husband's pizza Margherita was also very good. There is a small court yard, with outside seating, but it was raining, so we ate inside.

This is the best pizza I've had in recent times, it's great. We ordered three flavors and it was great.

Hands down, the most delicious food we had for dinner while away. The place is charming, pizza was delicious with plenty of toppings. They do a great base which has a good fold whilst being able to sustain all those toppings. Very friendly people work here, and we happily paid service plus more on top.

The Pizzas here are the best in the area by far. You might just be able to find a better one if you go to Naples but you'd be taking your chances. Superb. Lovely people too.

Decent pizza place, totally check it out

Has the chef changed recently? When I first got pizza from here in November last year it was amazing. But my most recent order was not good. It didn’t seem like the same quality of ingredients at all and was very sloppy in general. It’s a shame because before this everything was really nice. Please go back to making the original great pizzas you were before!

Very pleased to have discovered this place serves coffee, cake etc. Have now been several times and on each occasion had excellent extra hot coffee as requested (lots of alternatives to dairy milk available). The guy who serves is very personable and always asks if everything is fine. Delicious chocolate/caramel brownies.

Flawless. Took my dad here after a hard days work in the sun. Nice and cool. Super friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices. But the pizza. OMG. Soooooo good. My dad loved the veggie and I loved the inferna. Amazing crust. Half sourdough I think. Best in Nailsworth and Stroud for sure. Very good chips too. I hope you get the custom you deserve so I can come and eat your fantastic authentic pizza again. Xx

A nice cuppa sat in the afternoon sun in the rear garden, listening to the stream running. Great service and atmosphere, the hosts were excellent.

Lovely takeaway. Delivered on time and piping hot like it had just come straight out of the oven. Pizzas are authentic Italian style and tiramisu was also very good. Highly recommend.

I ordered the Valentino pizza and a strawberry cheesecake which arrived on time with a friendly driver from the shop. First time eating their food and won’t be the last. The flavours were all there, the pizza actually had toppings!, and you could tell that a lot of care was taken. They’ve definitely replaced my normal go-to for pizza. It’s a family-run business and they are doing an amazing job!!

One of the best pizza options around for miles! The pizza dough is fantastic, the toppings are generous and it's all incredibly well priced for the quality of pizza you get. Would fully recommend. The cakes are also great if you're stopping by for coffee and cake in the day time.

A well-situated cozy place, operated by friendly family. It is the Nailsworth gem for real homemade desserts and professional pizzas. Real woods. Real Italian. There is a chef, dedicated to mastering them. Just try it! And, thank you, guys, for the warm welcome!

First class pizzas. The sooner they get a license for alcohol the better, lovely family run business deserve to do well.

Friendly service, but the food is not great. We ordered the cheese and truffle oil Focaccia, which turned out to be a pizza base with melted cheddar on it.

Having lived in Europe and enjoyed authentic pizza all over Italy and Sicily, we’ve been disappointed at what passes for pizza here in the UK. Until Old Stone opened! Without doubt the best pizza we’ve had here in the UK, made with quality ingredients and with care, in a proper pizza oven. Excellent prices, too, as others have said and welcoming, friendly staff. We’re blessed to have such a fine pizzeria in Nailsworth and we’ll be back again and again to make sure it stays here with us!

A little late in having the pre-ordered pizza but obviously they were adding extra love and care to the three most delicious pizzas we had.

It has taken us a shameful age to try these guys pizzas but we did tonight - two take out pizzas and some cannoli. The best pizzas we have had for some time and the best around here for sure and especially if you add value for money into the equation. Great bases with generous and flavoursome toppings. Cannoli homemade and delicious and not drenched in powdered sugar that would take away from the flavours. Great reviews abound on here and are highly justified - what a great addition to our neighbourhood, if you haven't been yet, don't delay. Bravo !

We had takeaway pizza from here and it was by far one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. The crust was delicious, chewy yet tender, and the flavour was rich and deep. Wonderful experience.

The pizza was so good here that I had 3 in 8 days on my recent trip to Nailsworth. Generous and tasty toppings on the delicious Maiale Crocante pizza. Very clean and cosy space or you can take away and eat in the local pubs nearby. Ruxi and Antonio are very nice owners who have provided the town with a gem of a restaurant. Looking forward to my next visit.

We have been hoping someone would open a new restaurant in this location since we moved into the area a couple of years ago (the restaurant that was there before closed before we moved in), so we were delighted to discover today that someone has! We immediately booked a table for this evening and were very pleased with the experience. The two owners are very friendly and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the pizzas and desserts are all made fresh and are delicious! The only reason I didn't make it five stars is they don't have their alcohol license yet (coming soon I understand) and, so far, they only serve pizza, which limits the options somewhat - but then, it is a Pizzeria, so hard to fault them on that. Especially since their pizzas really are very good! I love pepperoni pizza and their recipe is honestly the best I've had. Their desserts are also excellent. We will definitely be back! Great addition to Nailsworth! Nothing against Nailsworth's other restaurants, there are some quite good ones, but it's nice to see the choices expand with such a nice little place run by such nice people. Highly recommend!

Having had good reports from friends, we thought we'd try Oldstones. The pizzas were extremely good and we enjoyed the desserts too. Friendly and attentive service. A very pleasant evening all round.

I have had pizza several times from here now. The pizza is absolutely amazing! Its like a taste of paradise in your mouth. The ingredients are all fresh and delicious. It is the best pizza I have ever eaten. The puddings are to die for! All are made in house by a very talented hand. The cake, tiramisu and cannoli are all incredible but my favourite is the ricotta cheesecake with the dark cherry sauce. The coffee is also fantastic. Cannot say enough how wonderful the food and drinks are. The atmosphere is fantastic in the restaurant and the service is incredible too. The lady who runs front of house is so friendly and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food.

We enjoyed our first meal at the Oldstone tonight. Pizzas and deserts were delicious and our hostess very friendly and attentive.

We ordered 8 pizzas to take out and they were all ready in good time. They were delicious and my 21-year-old son said it was the best pizza he'd ever had. We'll be back!

Nicest pizzas we've had since a recent trip to Stromboli. Leave room for the dessert menu, looked so interesting we ordered one of everything! Highly recommended.

the staff were very friendly, and the pizzas were delicious!! we got magherita, chicken, and goats cheese all of which were cooked perfectly and were all thoroughly enjoyed thank you :)

Asked for 2 pepperoni, both without the chillis and one with vegan cheese. One had chillis on and it was impossible to differentiate between which had vegan cheese and which one regular. Both bases were doughy and raw in the middle The cutting was awful and the whole pizza felt very rushed.

This is without doubt, the best pizza I have ever had. Miles better tha Papa John's who I have 70 reward points, that's going to waste. Dominos can't touch it and Fat Tony's, who? Bless them for delivering just around the corner as I am disabled. Juicy, fresh, meaty. Toppings are abundant. The dough is to die for. Can't wait to try the cake. Thank you so much Oldstones. Edit. What a beautiful family owned pizzeria. We had the chance to meet Antonia, the adorable daughter of the owner. The tiramisu was made by the owner herself, simply amazing ! Pizzas were delicious !!! We couldn’t have made a better choice.

Got three take out pizzas based on all the enthusiastic local patter. Got them on a Tuesday for 15% off!! Was not disappointed at all. Really delicious, the flavours were dense and rich. We had the Sapore Di Aglio, the Diavola and the Maiale Crocante but I don't imagine you could go wrong with any of them. Crust was great. Everyone was happy with them and we're a family of critics. Owners were very warm and friendly, will definitely be back.

Lovely evening at Oldstone pizzeria. Pizzas were so good and so many toppings! We also all tried desserts strawberry cheesecake, cannolis, baked cheesecake and the Salame al Ciocciolato! All of which were very good accompanied by coffees. Lovely hosts very attentive. Will definitely return.

We are so lucky to have this lovely, family run pizzeria round the corner. The pizzas and handmade desserts are delicious and the owners are delightful. What a wonderful addition to Nailsworth.

A friendly welcome, tasty food, generous portions and fantastic looking pudding, which I was too full to try! Good value too, as we fed three adults and two kids for less than £12 a head. What's also nice is though there are other places in town who do pizza, the styles and bases are different so you can choose between them.

Ordered over the phone, the young lady said it would be 15 minutes. By the time I got into Nailsworth, they were ready. Really tasty some of the best pizzas I have ever had. Will definitely get some more.

Ignore the false reviews, it seems there is someone out to cause trouble. We had a table for 4 last Wednesday and it was absolutely gorgeous, we had a lovely table out in the secluded garden and the staff were so friendly, will definitely be going back

I ordered takeaway pizzas tonight, they were absolutely incredible, so much flavour, the sauce tasted so fresh and they were cooked to perfection - no burnt edges of bottom, just perfect! Their phone lines were sadly down, but I managed to order through Facebook messenger! They were so accommodating letting me order this way. They’re a beautiful addition to our little town! I popped in to say hi and to welcome them to nailsworth. Ended up staying for a coffee and it was a very good one. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be taking the rest of the family in for pizza. The 1 star reviews below are laughable but also very sad that someone would try these kinds of tactics instead of just focussing on there own business.
