Such an affordable pizza place. Paid £6.95 for a 12 inch donner pizza and it served piping hot and quickly. Really enjoyed will be backed to try the individual £2 slices

Excellent little pizza shop near the city centre. Prices are excellent -- 2 quid for a slice, roughly 7 quid for a full personal pizza. The workers are very friendly and there's some great late 90s/early 2000s indie rock usually playing while you wait.

Great pizza, reasonably priced!

Our usual go to place. The best pepperoni pizza in town. Their sides are also quite mouthful. Their other flavours are also a must try. A good mixture of proteins and sauces. A good base. Now some constructive criticism, Their crust has got this unique a bit sour flavour, which is good but after having a couple of slice it becomes overpowering. The mozzarella, although quite stretchy and yummy can be improved to have a bit strong flavour. I like the place and want it to thrive so much so that, they can expand the sitting area. Though, interiors are a nice choice and does give New York vibes, it gets crowded pretty quickly. Last Best thing, it is Halal for all the people for whom it matters, the rest can still enjoy it the same.

Visited this shop many times. The pizza is always nice and really good value with getting a pizza 2 dips and can of pop for under £10. It is very tasty and has lots of choice to . It's not hard to find nether just off the main newcastle High Street. It's always worth a visit when in Newcastle.

Think the staff need to find new jobs, all look disinterested with zero customer service. Pretty poor food hygiene witnessed, scratching ears,eyes and nose on their phones, which lets be honest phones go everywhere are rarely get cleaned so enjoy that whilst your eating your cheap slice......

My pizza was burnt which was a shame as all the other ones coming out looked delicious. The cheese wasn’t melted it was burnt

Easily Newcastle’s best pizza by a country mile. Unlike Scream for Pizza where they charge you effectively £6 for a slice, you can grab one here for £2. Bravo. Vibe is class everyone is class Class.

Well priced and well sized single pizza slices here, which is always served quick and is also always delicious. Seats inside are pretty good despite how small the shop is, and there’s a few seats outside which is lovely for summer.

Best Pizza i have ever tried this is my new place to go.

I ordered the chicken buffalo, pepperoni and GOAT. The chicken and pepperoni were fine The GOAT pizza was UNEDIBLE. It had an extremely strong foul stench and smell. Five members of my family tried but could not even have a single bite. Please be careful when ordering the goat pizza, either smell it before having or check with them.

Pizza was burnt and tasted like it came from a supermarket, really disappointed. Dough balls were nice.

I had the chicken buffalo pizza from here it was underdone. For the past 2 days I’ve had food poisoning and this is the only place it could be. The short horse faced girl with glasses was very rude and seemed uninterested in helping. I saw her change the bins then make pizza without washing her hands, any surprise I got food poisoning from the lack of hygiene. Very unpleasant experience all around and recommend just go anywhere else.

Tried single slices (£2 each) of buffalo chicken and goat cheese pizza. Both are warmed up and good. A slice is perfect for a light lunch.

Amazing food and a very genuine NY style atmosphere whilst being very affordable! The staff are incredibly friendly, professional and welcoming. We always get the Buffalo Chicken pizza, its fresh, crispy and the handmade buffalo ranch sauce is next level. Management know their stuff and you can tell everyone who works here really cares about what they do. We can't recommend this lovely place enough,

Top mark for a top pizza joint! Heard about this place and was passing, so I thought I would give it a try...I wasn't disappointed loads to choose, for ordering to getting your pizza, it took about 2 mins. I got the buffalo chicken that was so tasty. There are chilli sprinkles in case you want it a little spicy. The slices are £2 each for any and £6 for a full pizza. The place is amazing, and I'll definitely be back.

Fantastic Food and excellent service

Went to Doughdaze for the first time and was really good service and great pizza. Ham and pineapple slices and their special Doner kebab. Incredible prices what more could you ask for!

Everything about the place makes it the best Pizza place I know, the staff are always so nice and the pizza always makes you want to go back for more, I can't have cheese so I ask for it cheeseless and it tastes so damn good with the chilli flakes and honey. I want another one now writing this. The prices are unbeatable. Always a good variation on the music too I heard John Mayer there last week which is always a bonus.

I’ve been into the shop and the pizza was great. I decided to try a takeaway on Uber Eats. Pepperoni pizza and the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. It wasn’t great. The pizza was really dry and had hardly any cheese on it. The mac had no flavour and the chicken was poor quality. I wouldn’t order again.

Great pepperoni pizza, with chilli flakes on top and a drizzle of honey they nailed it just right! Been going there for a little while and will keep coming. Good food at a reasonable price, what else can you ask for?!

Good and cheap pizza. £2 for a 20" slice or £6 for a whole 12" pizza. When ordering a whole pizza you might need to wait as they make it fresh. Overall a good place to grab a snack or a meal. They have some tables and chairs for you to eat in but most people take out.

Genuinely one of the best pepperoni pizzas I’ve had. My mates enjoyed their buffalo chicken pizza too. Well priced will definitely be returning.

Pizza. It is my favourite go to and Dough Daze didn't disappoint. Bin your menus for the big multi nationals and try these guys. Amazing dough, fantastic fresh ingredients, I went for the pepperoni with chilli flakes and honey. Exceptional flavour from the tomato base and the delightful cheese. A taste sensation.

Such a lovely little pizzeria 🍕✨ The team was so friendly and were modifying the pizza to my requests (vegan cheese, not spicy). You could get the whole vegan cheese pizza with bibs and bobs ('12) for 6£ You can sit outside or inside (depending on the weather)

This is without a doubt the best pizza in the city. Been coming here for shy of a year now. I was a big fan of other pizzeria’s in town but haven’t went back to them after discovering doughdaze. The price has increased by 50p a slice but considering how everything else has increased, £2 for a full slice is still an outstanding deal! All pizzas are great. The pepperoni is a must! I do miss the Detroit style as the last few times I’ve been in, they don’t seem to have it on but even at that, it’s still the best spot in the town!

Tried here today with a mate, she had a Pepperoni slice, i had a Buffalo Chicken slice, we shared some Mac n Cheese too & a coupla cans of soda (great range!). The slices were £1.50 each, mac n cheese £4, soda £2. All lush, can't fault the place.

Great pizza. Spotted this when I was on my way home (I’m not normally in Newcastle) and saw it was a NYC style pizza place with the prices to match. Seeing as the pizza slice places were pretty much my favourite when we visited NYC in January we thought we’d give it a try. £1.50 for a slice is great value so why not. They also have 12inch pizzas for £5. I really enjoyed it and it tasted exactly the same as the ones I got in NYC - lovely crispy base and a good amount of cheese, they also have the chilli flakes if you want to season it just like in NYC. The decor is really fun retro styling as well. Really though the Margherita pizza is just amazing so I will definitely visit here next time I’m in Newcastle.

For £1.50 a slice it's a perfectly nice bit of pizza. If I'm going to be picky, the sauce is a little sweet and dough is a little bland but it is probably one of the cheapest lunches in Newcastle and for that it is a very reasonable lunch option!

I ordered a 12 inch Margherita pizza. I waited 15 minutes for it. It looked really nice although tasted quite bland and tasteless. You get what you pay for I guess. I bought a can of pop which was £3… The pizza shop is very small so the queue walking into the door blocks people off who are waiting for their food. I sat down and as I was eating, I was surrounded by people queueing/waiting for food in a tight spot. It’s very clean inside and they have definitely invested in the aesthetic of the place. Perhaps invest that money into the pizza ingredients.

Food was delicious. £1.50 per slice or £5 for a 12 inch. Now if I saw this online I'd be sceptical but it's a very clean establishment, freshly made and the staff are very nice. Great drinks selection and the pizza was delicious. No complaints. Only tried the New York style pizza but there is Detroit style available too (not sure if this is more expensive) Retro vibes inside think American 50s diner-esque. I was with 2 others and between us we tried 5 different flavours, all amazing. Will definitely return.

Class little spot, they've really brung the nyc to the ncl with the interior and exterior as far as pizza goes i would say it's best in town by a country mile. The value is amazing it's fair to say that you get a bang for your buck really good pizza, all round great spot to try!

I don't want to rate too hardly against the place because I only tried the pepperoni pizza slice and wasn't a fan, but the other options may be better, and I'd be willing to try something else for the affordable prices. I really wanted to like the pizza, but unfortunately, it's nothing like NYC pizza, so I was disappointed, and you may be too if you're looking for what you've had in NYC. The pepperoni slice was also strangely sweet, dry, and just didn't taste right.

Mac n cheese was literally mac drenched in tomato sauce, was so strong couldn’t finish it, and barely any cheese! Got two pizzas and they are so bland, literally no flavour. Meal deals may seem a good price but finished a whole 12 inch on my own for the first time in my life, just not very filling. Really disappointed because it looked very good from photos/ reviews.

This place is great value for money, two big slices of pizza and a drink is really cheap. The pizza is not the best I have ever had, maybe a bit bland but still tasty. It's not as good as my local takeaway.

Absolutely amazing New York style Pizzas with a great selection. Really cool shop layout with seating for dining in and the pizzas are just as good when delivered. I'd personally recommend you try the honey pepperoni pizza and the doughballs.

Decent pizza, been here twice, buffalo chicken is the best! Unfortunately the margherita needed a richer sauce for my liking. Please do dips, I like the herb sauce on the buffalo

Celebrated national pizza day in style! £11 lunch all together couldn’t have asked for better at £1 a slice. Staff were friendly and most importantly the pizza, especially the GOAT was brilliant 🍕
