The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We had a fantastic experience celebrating Mother’s Day today. The food was exceptional, as was the service. Will be back!

Great food and fast service. Excellent range of food and drink to choose from. Good to see more room now available upstairs too.

Amici in my opinion is second to none. This is how a restaurant should be it is beautiful and we where spoiled for choice with the menu and overall experience. I came in August 2024 for my 21st birthday and the service was incredible; the food was fresh and incredibly flavourful! They surprised me with dessert and sang me happy birthday too, it was an amazing meal and I still think about the Misto Pesce Giovanna.

Went for dinner, the waitresses were very fast, good service, very polite. Got our orders correct. The atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. However, the food was a bit of a let down, the only options being vegan was a plain margarita pizza and Gnocchi. The bruschetta side was covered in oil and came with red onions which was not listed on the menu. The only saving grace was the sorbet which was delicious which came with a meringue, they had a wide drink selection however the drinks were very small apart from alcohol. The pints are worth it. The meat on another pizza was quite chewy. The michelle special was nice. Didn't really enjoy it ⭐️⭐️/5 (service & sorbet)

Just brilliant. Consistently excellent in all areas - we are a family of four (2 boys of 12 years who eat loads!) and celebrated my birthday with a fabulous 3 course lunch. Excellent value for such incredible food! Add on a bottle of delicious wine, glasses of dessert wine, drinks and coffee, and suddenly the bill is pretty hefty - but completely worth it considering the excellent food, outstanding service, attention to detail and careful attention. Prego is a favourite of ours and will always be our Bristol restaurant to recommend! ❤️

We visited Casa Mia recently through a recommendation and hearing good things about this place. We had such a great time and have booked for a forthcoming event. We received such a great welcome from the Owner Lello & his Team and the fantastic service carried on throughout our time. This was a 3 course meal event and each course was beautifully described by either Lello or the Chef. We had an appetiser that was a small piece of bread with sundried tomatoes and olives and it was very yummy! Our first course was a beautiful dish that originated prior to Bruschetta! This was served with a creamy burrata and tomatoes and was so very tasty! Our Main was a rustic, tuscan beef stew with roasted potatoes and other vegetables and I really do love a stew and this was probably the finest I have ever eaten. Mrs K, being a vegetarian enjoyed the Vegetarian version with Quorn but was also told that if that wasn't to her liking she could choose something from the menu. Our sweet was a beautiful array of Chocolate, Raspberry sorbet and various orbs of different flavours that played a melody on our taste buds. As if this wasn't enough they also had a fab musician called "Lisa T" playing a range of chilled classics along with some of her own tunes. We had such a great night and we have booked the next event in the Calendar but I don't think we can wait that long so we will be going back in the next couple of weeks! Amo questo ristorante
