A great place ,entertainment was provided ala singalong food was all good!

Always a warm welcome from Sabrina and her team, along with a great menu and superbly cooked food by Ceasar and his chefs. Highly recommended.

Always good. We used to have our regular monthly training session lunches here, ordering in the morning so food is ready on arrival and we are out again in under half an hour. Mon and Tue night specials, and Wed night special delivery orders... amazing value. Lunchtime special is brilliant. Highly recommended with a great and friendly team.

Booked table of four on a very busy Saturday night, from the meet and greet on arrival, right through to the end of the evening everything was very good, the staff are very welcoming and friendly, the food is great and prices are competitive, it really provides a lovely experience, highly recommend it.

A group of 22 descending on any venue without preordering food would be a challenge but not here! Orders were taken in a timely manner and the food delivered without delay. The food choices were excellent and the specials menu added to the delight. Given the number of empty plates returned to the kitchen I assume everyone enjoyed the food. Wonderful meal tonight. Don's special mushrooms and Mozzarella for our starters. Pasta estate and beef cannelloni for mains. Pavlova and banoffee pie for desserts.

We've been visiting this lovely, family run restaurant for over 20 years. The food is wonderful as is the welcome and the service. Absolutely fabulous. 😋❤️😋❤️

The food was lovely ...if not very large portions ...I had a chicken dinner and partner a risotto ...flavoursome ...cooked to perfection ...however ...a few issues ..my glass came with lipstick mark on the rim 😕 I wiped it without saying anything ...we were ushered to a table I feel used before ...as I didn't have any cutlery ...but took it from next to me as seated on table for 4...then ...the under white table cloth at the corner was heavily laden with tomato sauce ..some one had used as a napkin ..and on a hot Saturday evening ( with no discount so paid full premium for Saturday night as the restaurant do have a deal Monday to Thursday) the restaurant started to fill with wood fumes or charcoal ...and I get that I am in a pizzeria ...but no air con other than front door open. The food and service did not let this restaurant down ..we have wanted for 10 years to visit since we moved to this little town which is ever expanding ...the price was pretty good given ...I just a stickler for cleanliness ...being clean ...and I say again ..the food was amazing!

It was very cold in the restaurant. I received a different dish to the one ordered and I advised the waitress to cancel my original order. They insisted on cooking me another dish but it had not arrived until my fellow diners had pretty much finished their meals. I stepped away from the table to discreetly cancel my order again. The waitress then approached the table and told my fellow diners to eat more slowly so I did not have to eat alone. I was nearly in tears at this point and extremely embarrassed To add insult to injury I ordered a shandy and was charged for a glass of lemonade and a bottle of beer separately. I left hungry and not impressed with this establishment

We went on a Tuesday and they have a set menu, two courses for £11.50. Food was very tasty and everyone was really friendly. Definitely going back again.

Popped into Pizza Venezia on a spontaneous Thursday night outing with the family, no reservations - just walked right in. Despite the place buzzing with the pre-rush energy, the staff welcomed us with open arms, juggling their tasks with a smile. They knew they were about to hit a busy spell, but that didn't stop them from being super helpful and accommodating. I went for the Bella Calabria with 'nduja – a choice I'd make a hundred times over! My wife opted for the pepperoni pizza, while the kids decided to team up on a pizza of their own. On a side note, I asked if they could whip up a garlic dip, boy, was I pleasantly surprised. It was amazing. I've made a mental note to make Pizza Venezia our family's pizza hub. There's something about supporting local places that just feels right – way better than the usual franchise pizza joints. Big shoutout to everyone at Pizza Venezia; you're doing amazing work. You've not only earned a pizza lover for life but also a fan who's all in for supporting your success. Keep rocking those pizzas; we'll be back for more. My husband & I went for Valentines night. You can park next door in the car park-for free . The whole experience was top class. The food was spectacular, tasty, fresh and beautiful presented. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable of each of the dishes. It was a set menu with a variety of choices. Will definitely go back, looking forward to it. Thanks for a lovely evening 💖

I’m grateful for making the decision against a takeaway and to eat in the restaurant…. Four weeks later and we’ve been back every week. The food and service is fantastic. I don’t understand why we order from these big pizza chains or terrible wannabe pizza places, or buy supermarket ready to bake, when places like this exist. This has become a regular for us and are telling everyone we know how great it is. (Two years ago: Decent food delivered quickly and hot).

All I can say is OMG the food was absolutely lovely. The presentation was good but the taste of everything we had was amazing. We had a big party of people, all food came out together and every dish was perfect. Staff so friendly. Thank you so much for an enjoyable evening. We will definitely be coming back soon. X

A lovely evening out with friends 😊 the food is always fantastic. With it being a Christmas party evening, I was slightly disappointed with the disco - for me, the volume was too loud and the play list was heavy on retro disco. Overall it was amazing 👏

Just come from an organised Christmas Lunch for 24 today 6th December, what a wonderful place this is , warm welcome, great ambiance - and scrummy food - what else do you need. Only been in the area a couple of years - never been here before but will book up for family or friends when eating out in the future. Well done eveyone at Pizzeria Venezia!! BELLISIMO !

Loved everything about the place. The food is so good. You can sit in or outside watching the lake.

This was an amazing find. Don't be fooled by the exterior (bit weirdly the windows are covered with views of Italy so you can't see inside), the food served here was an absolute delight. There were staff in abundance, a nice relaxed atmosphere and at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be returning.

I live 100 miles away from this restaurant but was visiting a friend who suggested we eat here as she had recently moved to the area, and had heard good things about it. As my title says, please don't be put off my the exterior. The windows are actually covered up with scenes of Italy, which in a way cheapenes the look of the place and also means you can't see inside. Once inside though you get the feeling this is the real deal. It's not overly fancy, but with its deep green walls, it feels cosy and inviting. We visited on a Saturday night and it was busy but there was an abundance of staff so our drinks and food order was taken promptly. We started with Don's Special Mushrooms and I had Buratta on Toasted Focaccia. Oh my goodness it was one if the best starters I have ever had at an Italian restaurant. It really was a taste sensation and my friend said she could have eaten another portion of the mushrooms as her main meal. For mains we had Tortellini alla Panna and I had the Lasagne. Again, both meals were absolutely delicious. My friend was unable to eat all of her Tortellini and they were happy to pack up what was left for her to take home. Unfortunately there was no way we had room for dessert! This restaurant is an absolute gem it really is. Fantastic food, great staff and service, I have made my friend promise that we will visit again when I am next visiting her!!!

We wanted to celebrate the birthday of a lovely lady in our craft group by all going out for lunch today. There were 11 of us and we were treated so well. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious and the service impeccable. We're already booked in for our Christmas celebration lunch! Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making it an extra special occasion.

Tantalising Tuesday set menu was great value for money and really enjoyable

Fabulous reasonably price food. Staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, not rushed at all. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend.

Went here with family for my mum's birthday as we knew it wouldn't disappoint. Staff are nice and friendly, food is delicious, so delicious I forgot to take photos although it looked as good as it tasted. Will definitely be back here.

We came here for a Monday night special menu, we informed the restaurant we were celebrating just getting married on the booking . We had a brilliant meal, delicious food, great portion sizes and the service was exceptional. As we were paying the bill, The staff were very kind and sent us home with a bottle of wine on the house and congratulated us on our wedding, we were so grateful! We will definitely return and look forward to more evenings here. Thanks so much again.

Just after long day work could nt make no better choice to call for a pizza at venezia restaurant to collect,so i rung them up after answering a very polite lady said venezia restaurnt how can i help?placed my order margherita with salami capers gorgonzola and chillies,pick up in 20 minutes,fab!so went there pick up the restaurant was extremly busy ,but my pizza was ready and not only! wrapped to keep it hot ,once i got home i was amazed about the taste,i m italian so i know i bit about pizzas,this is the best pizzeria in the area,well done keep up the good work guys

No better family restaurant! In true Italian tradition… All the food is excellent, Pizza is especially good. The staff are welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Lunch time (great value lunch time menu) or evening it’s a pleasure to visit.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant first time visit for my sons 21st birthday. Lovely food, served promptly and happy birthday played and a candle for my son with his dessert and restaurant all clapped very nice and unexpected. The restaurant was full and it was a monday night everone smiling and enjoying themselves. Bravo.

Been going here for decades, but as moved from area not visited recently. Glad to report food is still top quality and delicious. I am part Italian, so fussy about where I eat, but have never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend.

Our waiter Jay was lovely and attentive, very polite and helpful. I did not find it acceptable that the other gentleman working alongside Jay appeared to berate him at the bar in earshot of customers on two occasions. Quite unprofessional. I have nothing but positive praise for Jay.

Been living in Rushden for over 15 years and not been here. My wife and I decided on a date night and booked here for an early Saturday evening meal for 2. Service was brilliant, food was great and the price (£30 each for 3 courses and drinks) was a bargain. Couldn't recommend highly enough and will definitely not be leaving it so long for our next visit

Nice varied menu and really efficient and attentive waiting personnel. The setting was a little tired and dated, and it was very noisy. Some dishes were enjoyed more than others. It was lovely that the staff remembered that our meal was to celebrate a birthday, and they unexpectedly brought out a cake and candle, which was lovely and very much appreciated.

Fantastic service , came here tonight for a family meal. Food was very good and the addition of free bread with oil was a lovely touch. Pizzas came quickly and were all very good, my mum’s pasta didn’t have much sauce on it but the waitress was brilliant , offered to put some more sauce on it and also knocked it off the bill. Desserts were good, ice cream and sorbet was very good. All the waiters /waitresses and staff were friendly and polite, very good

Ok, but a quite underwhelmed. We had been planning to visit for some time and did so on Saturday night with another couple. The service was impeccable. Really friendly attentive staff. Sadly the food, in my opinion was average. I had the prawns to start, two had calamari and one had the mushrooms. The mushrooms was the best dish by far. For mains, the two guys had the veal, my friend had spaghetti carbonara and I had the butternut risotto. The spaghetti was fabulous, the veal was ok, the risotto was dry, bland and had so much sage in it I could not eat it at all. My friends all tried it too and agreed it was awful. They did reduce the price of the item by half as a gesture, but was disappointed and hungry when I left. Not one for us I’m afraid. The restaurant was busy and plenty of people having a great time, so must have just been an off night for us.

Not been here for a few years as now live out of town, however was visiting, and this is my go to for a nice Italian meal. Lots of new young staff but main family people have not changed, which is nice to see. I reconsidered them but probably not the other way. Amazing meal and so accommodating to my gluten free friend. Would recommend to anyone for a nice Italian meal. Very reasonably priced also

I wrote my last review when the summer menu was out. It was five star. So here’s my Autumn menu review: Lovely people who couldn’t be more obliging to a family with older guests with unusual requests (split meals for example). The service remains exceptional, and the menu has changed….more pasta, risotto and warming dishes for the colder months. Fewer on menu pizzas (but they will make whatever you ask for). Some real stars added to the starters this season: tasty smoked pigeon, gorgeous burrata with a tasty dressing among others. Lovely people, good food, pleasant ambience. It’s a really nice place to visit.

Been here now 4 times. We feel at home here. Love the place! Food is almost perfect - couple dishes are alittle to salty but each to their own! Love there little home made bread rolls! with the balsamic and olive oil 👌😍 Couple of the busiest times the dinning room not at best, Damp table cloth! On 1 occasion and bits of noticeable food on floor around the table. Could have been cleared before inviting guests to table. Also bathroom light very dim definatly needs to be brighter after couple drinks! Staff are nice very Welcoming! nice to see staff being so high spirited & speak polite whilst being human. P

What a lovely restaurant. Fabulous friendly and smiley service from all the staff. Really welcoming and they surprised us with a slice of birthday cheesecake which was homemade and nut free for the birthday girl. Great with our allergies and intolerances and the food was well presented and yummy. Great night had by all.

Bland, basic, looked and tasted like microwave..another local Italian takeaway so much better but they were on holiday .I won’t ever waste my money again here..would prefer a meal from co-op..whoever took my order was a bit rude same as when we collected

Popped in off the cuff having heard so many good things about this place. Food can only be described as bland/tasteless and looked as if it had been microwaved. I saw 2 or 3 other diners sending their food back for unknown reasons. I have eaten all over the world, including across Italy, and this is one of the worst meals I have ever had. Maybe they were having an off day but I certainly wouldn’t eat there again. Staff were friendly.

I can't say too many nice things about the restaurant, the food and especially the staff. I hosted a group of friends this evening and they went above and beyond to not only accommodate us (we had a mixture of tastes and young children in our party) but to really make us feel at home. To really top it off they looked after us while waiting for a taxi that they organized (my mistake for not pre ordering, if you're local you'll understand) giving us a sofa to wait on and a beer while waiting. Absolutely five star service and food to match, cannot recommend enough.

I normally get a take out but I have to say the food that bob the chef puts out is absolutely perfect
