The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

Mixed experience. Service SLOW. Even drinks order took 15 mins despite there being only one other table occupied! Starters great. All lovely beautifully presented and great taste. Mains? Three different mains appeared to have exactly the same ssuce despite the descriptions being very different! The one pasta dish was described as ‘plain’. Disappointing as the restaurant had good reviews. We as a group had a pleasant evening but in future will meet on a Saturday evening with a better choice of restaurants.

Lovely takeaway from these guys tonight. WRAPS , PIZZA, CHIPS, were all tasty and food was hot. Staff were amazing too. Highly recommended

Went for brunch today with my Partner. Absolutely amazing food and to top it off brilliant customer service. Definitely will be coming again. Lady in the glasses was a star. 🌟

Very disappointing Shakshuka, normally a Shakshuka is a vibrant spicy red and exciting dish of tomatoes, peppers, eggs, spinach, different toppings are added to each version, I had to ask for a spoon as it was more of a brown soup which I couldn’t eat with a knife and fork. All the other items I’ve had from the menu have been lovely, I didn’t complain at the time as I was with my friend. I was also charged a service fee on top, to which I was told ‘it saved people scrabbling around looking for loose change’ hearing such a dire comment is not what you expect, as after all, a tip is given for the enjoyment of food, service and the ambience of a place which unfortunately was ruined by the continuous noise of the blender making smoothies/milkshakes which I suppose couldn’t be helped on such a hot day.

The front of house staff were polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the organisation of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Their website made a big deal about the 3 pizza bases. Regrettably, only one was available, (Gluten free, with a surcharge of £2.50). They were going to charge us the extra £2.50, until I pointed out that we were given no choice! Items on the menu were missing, or there was hardly any of them, when the food was served! Cold plates, tepid Peroni beer etc. The food was edible, but very disappointing.

This sandwich shop if worth coming to Burnham for! Fabulous sandwiches great value and always friendly staff 😀

I felt compelled to write this and wish to give this parson bakery some love back. This place has a lot of heart. Allow me to explain. I dropped my disabled mum off at bath hospital. As there was no where to park. I drove around for a bit before stopping outside Parsons. As my wife loves their bread pudding. I managed to stop outside to wait for a call to get mum. Popped in to get my wife her bread pudding and a coffee for myself. Whilst I was there I saw outstanding customer service I’ve ever seen and I’m in this industry. Where a lady had her hands for with two small children. The young son had mums card to pay and when completed. The parsons lady helped the struggling mum with her son and other child to their car, so we didn’t run out into the road. This was above and beyond and the staff as a whole deserves praise. With service like this the staff and the lady that helped the struggling mum. Needs the highest of praise.

Do not wish this place on anyone. Was treated terribly and forgot about, just an all around bad experience. Support a local business in the area and not this corporate owned spot that does not care about your experience.

Such a lovely service and amazing food!

Our elderly family wanted to treat us and suggested this restaurant following a recommendation from one of their friends… you can imagine our delight when we recognised Jimmy having not seen him for 8 years! We love our food and have our regular places we always go back to so our expectations are high. We can honestly say every course we had didn’t fail to impress…we all had a variety of starters, pasta and pizza mains, and the tiramisu was heavenly! This was one of the nicest meals we’ve had in a very long time and certainly be coming back. Excellent value for money and an extensive menu to choose from so you won’t have to order the same dishes. Thank you so much Jimmy and your staff for the genuine warm welcome - you’re on our doorstep so we’ll see you again soon.

This pub has a great atmosphere and have regular live music. A reasonably priced jukebox with seemingly endless choice of music, a pool table that takes card payments and a couple of high end fruit machines, everything you expect from a pub. But go a bit deeper and there’s big screen TVs showing all live sports. And it doesn’t stop there! They have got a restaurant and serve food all day with a great, reasonably priced menu to choose from, I had the cheeseburger this time and it was gorgeous. They have coffee from a machine, just pay for a mug and help yourself. Ali and Zack have done an amazing job with this pub and are very customer focused. I’ll definitely be returning.

Went here as a final meal of our holiday. We have eaten all over the world and we have to say that our meal this evening was out of this world. The flavours were simply glorious. The service was brilliant as well. Italian food doesn’t get better than this. Thank you for making our evening wonderful !!!

I genuinely mean this, the nicest pizza I have ever eaten in my entire life. Absolutely loved this place. Lovely atmosphere, nice friendly staff who got the level of attention just right. Awesome food. Nice fries and dip as well. The kids loves their pizzas and the price was very good. Had a lovely pint of IPA to top it off.
