The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

The food was great! It was quite an unwelcoming arrival though. Pizza was delicious (would recommended) and food came quickly. Didn't stay long enough to use the facilities. Price was reasonable and the restaurant was comfortable. Would visit again if passing.

Nice location overlooking the Poultney Bridge - good selection of dishes on the menu, food was good and well presented and the service was prompt. Tess our server was pleasant, courteous and helpful. The front of house manager was a bit brusque and had a strange manner. It appeared he had staffing issues as he was overheard to say "This is the hardest week of my life" - he could have been more pleasant. I appreciate the establishment was busy with other guests as I suspect it always is. I had also made reference to my wife's booking on the reservation however no mention of it was made during our visit.

Extraordinary, this is definitely the best Italian restaurant in Cheltenham. This restaurant is so authentic that took me back to my hometown and made me nostalgic!!

So friendly and happy and happy to help. One of the servers were so sweet, being disabled, she actually ran to grab the heavy door so I didn't struggle. The food is always delicious and they are great to make sure if there has to be a substitute (ie: olives or spinach) then they don't pressure timewise so if doing a takeaway order then it's not a problem to phone home lol!

it was our first experience having purree italian pasta defo the owner himself gave the best top notch hospitality! defo will be coming to you guys oftenly. Much try their strawberry tiramisu 😍.

We had a wonderful family meal at the Bridge to celebrate my parents 45th wedding anniversary. There was nothing that was too much trouble for our fantastic host, Fabio, who looked after us throughout. The food was excellent from starter to desert, the wine was superb too. Everything was reshly prepared, full of flavour and of the highest quality. I noted that some other reviews have complained about the pace or attentiveness of service; but for us the whole evening was a delight in winding back, relaxing, talking to each other and soaking in the experience. The night was capped off with some complimentary limoncello to celebrate the family celebration. We will certainly be back for more.

The very best authentic Italian in Bristol. We have dined there on many occasions and have never ever had a poor experience .. the food is first class !! The team are so so professional , welcoming and kind .. we could not recommend Ciao more highly . ( very best pizza ever !!)

First time at the Curator and it didn't disappoint, the food and drink were excellent, reasonably priced and blooming delish. I would highly recommend it to all!

Bad attitude and bad food , would never recommend this to anyone, owner swears at customers

Booked on day of visit waited 10 mins to order drinks then asked for a couple of mins extra to order food waited over 30 mns to place food order before we have got up and went to pay for drinking and as asked if we where paying for food we said we had bn unable to order food the male got agresive towards us and states people around here r rude which is unacceptable we then went to local tapas bar who could not be more helpful and service withing 10 mins food with in 20 mins we where also told not to come back for complaining that another table seated well after us was severed drinks and food order taken while we waited to pay for drinks another table had complained about poor service after we came from tapas bar we bumped into the table that had bn severed before us after arriving after us to find they didn't get some for there food and where not happy never will we ever go again to be met with aggression from staff please avoid they r so rude trying to intimidate a female for not being ready to order when they wanted and all but telling u to pzzz off never will we ever step foot in this place again

Mixed experience. Service SLOW. Even drinks order took 15 mins despite there being only one other table occupied! Starters great. All lovely beautifully presented and great taste. Mains? Three different mains appeared to have exactly the same ssuce despite the descriptions being very different! The one pasta dish was described as ‘plain’. Disappointing as the restaurant had good reviews. We as a group had a pleasant evening but in future will meet on a Saturday evening with a better choice of restaurants.

Delicious, fresh and good value pizza. Hands down better pizza than Dominos and I'd much rather pay money to a local business than a big chain 🤘.
