Walking past and they kindly let us have a table for 5 even though we hadn’t booked. We’re a vegetarian family and were well catered for, with delicious starters, mains and deserts. The staff were friendly and attentive, thank you for a delicious meal in lovely surroundings.

My family and I visited this restaurant twice while on holiday for a week in Cornwall. The Bridge more than lives up to its 5 star online billing. The food - including hake and seafood pasta - and wine was superb on both occasions, and excellent value for money. Thanks very much Fabio and to your wonderfully friendly and attentive colleagues - you provided us with fantastic holiday memories (including the best limoncello we have sampled!) and we look forward to seeing you if / when we visit the region again. Wir wurden wirklich sehr freundlich empfangen, obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten und das Lokal voll war, fand sich noch ein Platz für uns. Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und flink! Die Speisekarte sehr vielfältig und reichlich. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Es war WUNDERBAR!

Terrific little Italian restaurant ! Food was just fabulous. We didn’t expect to find a little bit of Italy in Newlyn . The young waitresses were very professional and attentive, I didn’t get their names, but, they deserve a mention. As does the restaurant manager ( or at least i think he was a manager ) anyway, he was very charismatic, and charming. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we will be back.

Everything was absolutely spot on for a relaxing, tasty evening! The atmosphere was amazing, the staff are very attentive and welcoming. The food (I had goats cheese pizza) was honestly one of the best pizza's I've had! We've come here to Newlyn to celebrate my 30th and it was the perfect place to have dinner for our last night before travelling back home. We will need to come back again next time we're in the area :)

Had the most beautiful meal here, hard to eat in a restaurant being gluten free but staff were very sympathetic and being coeliac wasn’t a problem, ordered from the special's board, the hake with new potatoes and vegetables and can honestly say was the nicest meal we’ve ever had in a restaurant. This is the third time we've visited The Bridge and it gets better and better. Highly recommended for brilliant service from Fabio and his team, great value for money menu and excellent food. In particular we recommend their fresh fish dishes direct from the famous Newlyn harbour around the corner. Bravo the chefs!

We came for dinner for my birthday. Never been before, but is my new favourite by far!! The food was cooked to perfection, every dish was divine! My foody daughter, who is a great food critic devoured everything and my fussy son was almost licking the bowls! We booked a table for my birthday dinner and the experience was fantastic. Firstly the setting and atmosphere were first class. We were shown to out table by an attentive waitress and given the menu. Our drinks were quick incoming and the wine too. Our choice of starter, main courses and desserts were good and the food when it arrived was hot, tasty and well prepared and presented. The owner Fabio was polite and was interested in our reason for the visit. He was very pleasant and he and his staff made the evening very special. The BEST restaurant in the penzance area. I have been many times and not once have I been anything but amazed by the food, the service and the whole experience. The owners are the friendliest and most lovely couple and have made us feel welcome every time. Without a doubt the best Italian food I've eaten. Love you guys!!

First visit and a superb experience .We booked on the spur of the moment ,it was a wise decision and we were amply rewarded. Table service was efficient and friendly with a good knowledge of the food and drinks menu. We ordered a steak and a pasta dish both were presented well and were utterly delicious. We would recommend to both couples and families and it was both great and reassuring to see locals dining . We will return soon.

Service really slow. Bruschetta at £7.95 one piece of bread which was a very small portion and very disappointing. Overkill on balsamic and no taste of garlic at all. Pizza lovely but bolognese microwaved Gutted as we had looked forward to coming here!

My husband and I with our pooch Lola visited here for Evening Dinner. We were shown to a table that offered space for our pooch to lie down and relax. The waitress was lovely and friendly and took our order. We both had the Garlic & Chilli Prawns & Garlic bread starter then my husband had the King prawn, mussels & calamari Linguini and I had a melt in the mouth Fillet Steak. The food was fabulous. We felt the prices were inline with the quality food, and excellent service and to top it off we could dine with our dog accompanying us which allowed us to enjoy fabulous food on our holiday in Cornwall.

Amazing meal. Rang up and managed to get a table thanks to a very helpful member of staff although the restaurant was very busy. Antipasti sharing board for starters. Delicious and generous. We had the hake and monkfish off the specials board and pork.lion. All were delicious. Couldn't fault any of them. Service was great attentive without being over the top. We have been on holiday for a week and we found this wonderful restaurant Definitely the best meal of the week. Our hosts were amazing the food was delicious there was not a single plate not emptied with so many fussy eater that in itself was great I recommend you book in advance but definitely worth it Thanks For a great evening

Lovely staff and delicious food - we ate here twice and would definitely recommend it. We had the pork, seafood linguine, mushroom pasta (we had pancetta added to it) and the diavolo pizza. All were fantastic and complimented by lovely wine. Thank you 😊

Down in Penzance area on holiday for the week and booked a different pub/restaurant every night. Booked ‘The Bridge’ In Newlyn as our Italian option not expecting it to be the best eating experience of the week, and that’s not a slight on the other restaurant’s. Great welcome from the staff and the owner. Good choices of drinks and served nice and quickly. Menu choices were excellent and I had the Gambas (prawns, shell off) and 100% the best I’ve ever had. Everyone else loved their starters. For main I went for seafood linguine and it was top notch. Again everyone else loved their mains. Desert was also very good especially with the complimentary lemon cello 😋. Can only highly recommend. I will travel the extra mile to come here in the future and all my family agree. Also took the kids, dog and a coeliac and all had a great time.
