Good food and service on a Tuesday in the city. Thanks to the staff for great work. Came back again and the service and food was better than ever. Jess and Liv were cheerfully pleasant with nothing being too much trouble. We had a GF requirement which was handled perfectly. The sea bass that we had was cooked to perfection. Toute multo bene. Grazie. Another visit on a Tuesday lunchtime, brilliant as usual. Service and food was excellent and we loved that gluten free options were readily available again. Perfect thanks.

Even though we had extremely low battery on our phones the staff were insistent over and over that we scan the QR code to see the gluten free menu and said they did not have a hardcopy we could look at. When we came to order the staff seemed very annoyed at the swaps I wanted to make on my pizza toppings. We have since been to ASK Italian and they handed us over a folder for our dietary requirements without us even having to ask! Pizza was much better than the gluten free pizza at Pizza Express.

The staff were attentive and very friendly, but not overbearing and the food was a good standard. One dish had a lot of garlic in even though it was not mentioned on the menu so may be worth checking if you do not like too much. Our waitress (Valerie) was really nice and very enthusiastic and happy.

Came a few nights ago to ZiZi Plymouth, had an amazing night decided to go for the 3 course meal for £25 each had some good drinks and our waitress: Tans was amazing giving good advice/recommendations on what food was best as I couldn’t make my mind up. She was never to busy to ask how we were doing for drinks and if the food was good etc, we really felt like we were being taken cared of and we mattered!

Popped in here for Dinner before going to the Cinema. We didnt book online but the female member of staff go us a table for 2 no problem. You can use a QR and order etc online or you can go the old fashioned way and speak to your waitress/er. The food was lovely, we didn't have to wait long even though they were very busy. Atmosphere was lovely too

Visiting the theatre we needed to eat early hence 4* on atmosphere as not many people. Quick efficient service, friendly & helpful. Thank you Ryan 😊Loved our rustic pizza & generous yummy side salad. More people pouring in as we left. A great place to eat for kids & adults at an attractive price. We will return 😋

This was my first time at Zizzi's, very friendly, helpful and polite welcome as we arrived till the moment we stepped foot out of the door. All staff were amazing, the food was very tasteful and hot. The cost of food was very good value for money but did find the drinks were a little pricey. I would definitely visit again and will highly recommended Zizzi to my family and friends

Big shout out to Ryan in Plymouth based ZiZis at the barcode who served us- a BIG group of ladies on a Hen do. Ryan was attentive making the evening flow without stress catering for each of us especially the ones with allergies! The food was delicious and great value particularly with the set menu, 3 courses for £25 which had lots of choice-Thank you again Ryan!

Food was amazing as well as the speed of the service starters came out within 5 mins of ordering and drinks came out just before (ordered at the same time) main courses were brought out 5 mins after we finished are starters and we were asked a nice amount of times wether or not the food was to our liking or if we needed anything else the music was perfect volume and it was a very friendly atmosphere

I upgraded my pizza to brushietta for £2 there was 3 bits of goats cheese.....7 pine nuts....really lacking in toppings. The fries where tiny. It was a shame. Service was perfect and food arrived fast. Way too expensive though.

Waitresses all seemed preoccupied and not able to give the best service during our meal and the short gobby female with glasses who looked like supervisor had terrible cs skills, clearing ppls plates before they finished or giving the wrong food to the wrong table then blaming everyone else but herself. The food was reasonable but not a patch on Prezzo. The lasagne was ok but for the £3 extra I'm not sure there was much difference between the extra sauce etc over normal portion. Just didn't have the quality of service we get at other Italian restaurants. 01/08/24 Jamie served us today. He was excellent, made us aware of the app and all current offers available to us. He did a food check to ensure we were happy with our food. Haven't been in since the refit and it feels like being in the Mediterranean, we had the garlic bombe and garlic bread, both tasty, I had the meat Sofia and my wife had the charcuterie, both tasted lovely, the only gripe I would have is the bases even though tasty, were a bit stale and didn't taste like they were made in house with fresh dough like at other Italian restaurants, tried that raspberry and guava CBD drink but it didn't taste very great and for nearly 4 quid a bit of a let down. We had the honeycomb cheesecake for afters to share and that was delicious.

Fantastic food and great service

Ordered from deliveroo. Food arrived stone cold and had to be binned. Driver apologised and said it had been sat there for an hour, waiting for collection and that he was doing his job which is deliver the food. Very annoyed that the restaurant didn't cancel the order and sent out cold food. Absolute waste of time, money and now I have the stress of having to get my money back.

We had such a lovely meal out for one of our coworkers leaving meal, we were quite a big party and our waitress Jess was so helpful and accommodating and when it came to allergies she made sure to handle with care. Will 100% be returning :)

Visited Plymouth Zizzi today, first and last time. Food portions are miniscule, the pizza was so thin the toppings dropped off when I picked up a slice. It seemed like a frozen pizza from Iceland rather than a freshly baked pizza, portions tiny, way overpriced for what you get. The only positive I could say about this visit to Zizzi's is the atmosphere which is great and very clean. Customer service was not the best. Will not be returning again!

Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Served straight away and didn't have to wait long for our food. They also have a 3 course for £25 set menu which had plenty of options. I would definitely go there again.

Valerie was an attentive and respectful waitress. She had a lovely manner and completely understood that we were rather spinning out meal out due to ghastly weather and the fact that we had to get back on our bikes to cycle to the cross channel ferry! It was a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere to enjoy good food and wine. Thank you everyone, especially Valerie.

We went to Zizzi’s for the first time this afternoon, and were really happy with the food! The reason I’ve only given 4 stars is the staff. The waitress we had was lovely, very attentive, chatty and had great suggestions about the food. But, there was a man there that was clearly front of house/manager this afternoon, and the way he spoke about this particular waitress to the other members of the team, within ear shot of our table, was not nice to hear, let alone, not being very professional. Mentioning things like her attitude, which we didn’t see or hear anything other than her being lovely and doing her job. And from the time we were there, the staff seem very ‘clicky’ talking in the same group of 2-3, but this one waitress in particular (that he seemed to have an issue with), was the only member of staff to be going between tables, speaking to customers and actually doing a really good job. For this reason we tipped her, and made sure the tip was for her, not to share. With regards to the food, we would definitely re-visit!

It was our second time in this restaurant and the first time was very nice indeed! But this time we were reminded that it's just a chain restaurant after all... We were served a lot by the lady manager ( I think) and it wasn't nice, everyone attending our table was in a rush. At the end my friend was overcharged for a drink and I was almost as well during the payment. Food was amazing though but seriously I don't know if I'll be back, maybe we should simply avoid this manager😅

Went to Zizzi as we had a £30 voucher to use. Was very busy & the staff seemed super rushed. We were shown a table & before long were asked for our order!! We had just sat down. Asked for jug of tap water, it never arrived! Placed our order of two starters, two mains with glass of red & sparkling water with fresh lime. My starters came first, my husband’s 5 mins later. We had to ask where it was. Our mains came quickly. I had a gluten free/vegan pizza, my husband the belly pork. The pizza wasn’t as nice as I’ve had before. Although one of the basic pizzas, there was hardly any topping of pepperoni! I asked for mayo & chilli sauce. They only had mayo & said there would be a 35p charge??? I would expect that at Pizza Express but not Zizzi. My husband’s belly pork was fine but surrounded by about 10 new potatoes. Far too many, would have preferred more veg as there was hardly any there. Asked for my sparkling water with fresh lime but it came with cordial. Not to my liking but I drank it. The French waitress was lovely but totally rushed off her feet. Dirty glasses were pulled up at the bar next to where we were sitting. So not a nice sight. The girl behind the bar was in no hurry to was them. I appreciate she was mega busy but stopping to chat with fellow colleagues whilst helping themselves to cold drinks isn’t a good look for the customer. I love coming to Zizzi, been many times but on this occasion it was average & over £60 for the bill was quite extortionate for what we had. Nearly £10 for a small glass of red is way over priced. It wouldn’t stop me going back but I won’t be in a hurry this time.
