Fantastic food and friendly service.

From the get go we were greeted with a very warm welcome. The gentlemen who seated us was exceptionally understanding and accommodating and ensured we had the perfect space for my wife and I, along with our newborn son. Unfortunately I did not get his name but can only assume he was a manager, either way his customer service and interaction with my family was second to none. This was further supported by Tansy, who was our server for the evening. Tansy offered great recommendations and showed a superb knowledge of the products on offer. Thank you all for a great experience.

We had a lovely meal at Zizzi this evening. The food was excellent as always and the cocktails were great. Our server, Tansy, was brilliant and made really good recommendations which is always appreciated. All of the staff members at the Plymouth location are so friendly and accommodating, they made sure we had plenty of space to fit our pushchair and took the time to talk to us about our baby, too. Thank you all!

Very nice food that caters to all palettes and dietary requirements. Tansy was a nice waitress and helpful in helping us choose our menu items. A bit loud but nice, clean atmosphere. I highly recommend the Rustica Picante pizza for people who like a mix of tangy meats and flavourful cheese and garnish (ask for a side of hot honey for a kick of spice!)

I went here yesterday on Valentine's Day and I was greatly impressed. They had separated tables so they had more tables and a full house and the stuff were incredible all the staff, they took our orders quickly but still said sorry for the wait, they always came over to check if everything was ok even though you could see they were run of the feet, the bar staff were running around like headless chickens but we still got our drinks quick and the chefs worked really hard so our food was amazing perfect temperature and no wait. I highly recommend this place and I will be going back. The staff there should be highly praised. Thank you x

Valentines date ruined. Only able to order off set menu which we were unaware of. Our server (woman with glasses and a bob) was so passive aggressive it made me and my partner feel really intimidated and upset. She was clearly overwhelmed with how many customers there were, maybe they overbooked? She got my starter order wrong but I didn’t mention as it was so busy but she then got my dessert order wrong 3 times and when I mentioned it the third time she just gave me a takeaway tub and told me to do it myself. Terrible service.

It was quite quiet time, maybe a total of 10 tables including ours. I ordered the upgraded 5 cheese carbonara with the ribbon pasta and it wasnt until it came out i saw it was with normal spagetti, noone told me on ordering it would be served like that because they were out of the other pasta or i would have ordered something else. When the mid meal check was made i asked why was it not served with the better pasta as we pay more for it and the waitress said they had run out. She would take money off the meal to compensate. When the bill came nothing had been taken off but we were left 20 mins waiting to even say anything and we had to catch a bus so didn't have time for her to go take it off and wait more time to pay. Very dissapointed in being promised something that never materialised.

Elsa was absolutely amazing as always. Been coming here for a few years and she has always been our server and always puts a smile on our faces. Couldn’t ask for anything better 10/10 x

The restaurant was relatively busy when I arrived, and I had to wait around four minutes to be seated. However, the staff were friendly, which made the wait more pleasant. The food itself was lovely, but the drinks were served warm in a cold cup—not the best combination. It would be much better if both were properly chilled. One downside was the extra charge of £1 per sauce on top of the bill, which didn’t really make sense considering the overall cost of the meal. Despite that, it was a good experience overall, and I’d consider returning.

Tiramisu needs more coffee or masala wine. There was also confusion over the desserts and one of the specials was still on the menu even though it ended at the end of january. It’s now mid February. The server Tanner was amazing so in no way her fault me a management issue.

Food always good. Food service was prompt. Drinks service was a little slow. Staff very friendly and helpful. Doing a great job on a busy Saturday evening. Especially our waitress Tansy.

Friendly staff, but seemed short handed. Improved menu so good to try something different. Restaurant was slightly cold for one member of our party due to the frequent use of the main entrance. Is still pricy, the 3 course deal does not really save you much. Thank you to Tansy for looking after us today.

A large group of us went to Zizzis for a birthday in the family, and our waitress Tansy did an AMAZING job! We were not an easy table at all. We had babies, a fussy eater, grumpy old men and we even split the bill about 5 ways. Nothing was too much for her and she did everything with a smile, so a huge thank you to Tansy.

Grandchildren and I had a lovely visit, one with allergy two vegans, no problem. The staff are all really first class professional and welcoming, this is our first choice of restaurants in Plymouth - we will be back (soon).
