What a lovely evening - fabulous hosting and great food. Pre ordered large group - everything correct, served and cleared brilliantly. Many places could learn a lot from this restaurant. How refreshing it is to feel like a customer and not an annoyance!

Had a lovely meal at Yeovil ask italian, the staff were friendly and nothing was too trouble, Patrycja our waitress was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. All 3 of us had pizza and this was cooked to perfection 👌

The pizza was ok, not great but ok. The lasagne was very poor. The thinnest scraping of mince covered by 2 sheets of pasta. I know things have been hard since covid but we walked away feeling very disappointed. Whoever is designing the meals has gone too far with cost cutting. Shame as Ask restaurants used to be top notch.

The place is beautiful so if that's what you care about, definitely a good choice. For food we had one really good pasta with slow cooked beef and one average pollo della casa which was a bit tasteless in comparison. We were asked if we wanted salt before we got to taste it, like why isn't it just on every table? I would appreciate a smiling staff as well, just makes you feel more welcome. Really good lemonade though!

My friend and I have been coming here for our regular catch ups over the last year. Food is always delicious. Staff are friendly, welcoming and efficient. Always busy on a Monday evening which creates a nice atmosphere - something I wouldn’t expect for a Monday! Would highly recommend a visit.

Went for my 18th, service was nigh-on perfect, as was the food. Staff went the extra mile (unbeknownst to me) accomodating my surprise cake. Great experience overall.

We were able to decorate the table ahead of time for our daughters 21st birthday. All staff were friendly, polite and amazing at their jobs. Our meals were fantastic, fresh and full of flavour and they even arranged a small surprise for my daughter which was so so lovely of them! Would highly recommend. Will be back for our next celebration 🎉

Usually enjoy food from here but ordered a pizza came uncut ang burnt on crust

Had the rectangular Sicilian style pizza, and it turned out shaped in an oval instead, and smaller than the rectangular serving plate that they showed me when I asked how big the pizzas were. Had an appetizer too with breadcrumbs on mushrooms, interesting but not really tasty. Prices were a bit high too for the area; just under €30 for one non alcoholic bottled drink, small mushroom appetizer, and a small pizza for one person. The meal was not memorable, and at least 25%-35% overpriced given the items ordered, quality, ingredients, and size of pizza. I wouldn't recommend!

Too many diners not enough staff waited sn hour for pur food with 2 small children. Hosting staff were great but overstretched. As a birthday treat this was poor

Excellent service from our host Sam, my girlfriend and I had a wonderful meal, they were very accommodating for my allergies to milk and shellfish, sam the waiter even came back to our table to check if I was allergic to gluten just in case, safe to say he deserves a raise

The most delicious crayfish pasta I have ever had and I've eaten at some serious places! Great service and lovely decor.

The aroma of garlic drew us to dine here, and the food was average. £3.75 for a small bottle of soda is excessive. They were out of Lasagne at 6:00 pm, which was disappointing.

I am a volunteer for a Charity called FND FrieNDs and once again Ask Italian in Yeovil have been very generous and donated a bottle of Wine for our tombola on 28th September and we thank them very much.

Lovely meal for my daughter's birthday

We had a lovely meal this evening. We were low-key celebrating my husband's birthday. We were a party of myself, husband, daughter and 18 month grandson. The staff were wonderful - very child friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious 😋 The staff brought a scoop of ice-cream, with a candle, and a board with 'happy birthday' on it and sang happy birthday (they had asked my daughter of this would be welcomed). We had a lovely evening. Great staff 👍

Outstanding. The food is exceptional and the staff are friendly and attentive without being in your face. In last 6 weeks we have eaten there three times. First time was just spur of the moment, enjoyed the food so much we booked up the following Saturday for wife’s birthday, and four weeks later we took our grown up daughter there for her birthday lunch.

Having never been to Yeovil we were pleased to find a good vibe in the restuarant, with friendly staff. Our chosen meals were ready quickly and we could not fault them.

Service was great, nice restaurant, but food was not what we are used to at ASK. Bruschetta starter was on hard toast that you also buy in the store with tomatoes on top. We didn't taste any flavor. The dish with mushrooms was particularly dry and also served with small hard (Melba type) toast. The pizza was tasty. The dish with the pasta tasted just like it looked, not tasty, we really had to look for the chicken. And then I think £75 is too much. I also think it is unacceptable that the bill states that 10% service charge is expected. I want to decide for myself how much I believe something is true.

Food is always lovely as are the staff. Very consistent and always a nice visit.

We dined early. The staff were excellent, the restaurant was clean. It soon filled up, mostly with families which gave a good vibe. The food was generous, tasty and attractively served.

I had the gluten free pizza and loved it. I had gluten free mini momenti. I also had a nice cocktail. The server was great. Patricia.

Our visit to Ask Yeovil was made very easy and enjoyable by the staff from beginning to end. Patrycja was very attentive and looked after us very well as did all the other staff. The only thing I would change is that the music was a little too quiet. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Brilliant service, staff were wonderful and accommodating. We booked late on a busy evening and they fit us in for a table of 2. Great selection for vegetarians, food was tasty and didn’t take too long to arrive. Very happy, will return.

Went to ask Yeovil for lunch with my very pregnant wife and as always the staff were excellent and the food was fantastic! We go about once every six weeks and will be back.
