Beautiful atmosphere, lovely food and the service was great couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely be returning.

So a star for the staff they were excellent and a star for them fitting in a large party in short notice! However, the food not so great , I had the beef brisket pasta and it just tasted like a cheap microwave meal , also a lot of my friends I was with also agreed with me. £65 for me and my girlfriend to eat there when we could have got a bottle of wine and 2 microwave meals for £15. Not angry just disappointed.

As always great place to go for lunch. One of Yeovil's saving graces. Good menu choices and attentive staff.

At first the service didn’t seem all that bad. Just an inexperienced waitress who was being taught on how to serve during our order, which was fine. However we were served our food way before water or any type of drink we ordered despite being Id’d for it 🤣🤣🤣💀 My boyfriend had finished his bolognese spaghetti of 13.50 for a (which was just a spoonful) before the drinks had arrived. Ironically enough, the best part about this whole experience was that it didn’t taste awful, though no where near worth it’s value. We ordered 2 cocktails of 7.50 which tasted awful, nowhere near the standards. They came in tiny wine glasses instead of actual cocktail glasses (assuming this is a cheap Italian gimmick which doesn’t happen in Italy but anyway) . The strawberry daiquiri tasted expired and watery and was not the right colour. No crushed ice just watered down strawberry liquid. The espresso martini was worse and was 50% undrinkable froth and the rest was watered down cheap expired tasting coffee. Obviously we were unhappy with what we got for the price but the worst of it had yet to come. When I went to get the bill I paid in cash gave them £50 in notes was £42 ridiculous and they were like “do you not have exact change” and I was like no or I would have given it to you lol … 🤣💀💀💀💀 and they were like well your the first people we serve lol how is that my problem as the customer?? and they went round the back and gave me coins out of her own personal wallet in my face. Super ghetto and unprofessional for a first date. Wish I had a Time Machine. Our overall thoughts, not a place to go unless you are earning money reviewing bad experiences 😂✌️

There was really great service from all the staff and they were all really kind plus all the food was amazing.

We had a great evening at ask yeovil, the food was amazing the only problem we had was over an hour wait for our started to come. We asked one waiter who was very rude and walk away saying he would check and never came back! Then, after wait another 10 minutes we ask another lady who was lovely and explain our order has been missed and it was on it way, also offing us a free bottle of wine or a discount. We appreciate the waitress who did an amazing job to resolve the issue but the long wait and rudeness of the other wait made our night less enjoyable!

The restaurant is beautiful and very clean. The staff are all friendly and approachable. The food is presented amazingly and taste outstanding! I will definitely be coming back regularly.

We visited Ask Italian Yeovil on a Thursday night and was presently surprised. So many chain restaurants churn out the same unimaginative food but this was different. Food was tasty and fresh cooked with reasonable prices, staff from friendly but not intrusive. Would recommend.
