Night out. Really great food very friendly and lovely atmosphere.

I'd heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, and wasn't disappointed. The service here was fantastic, wonderful staff. I had the Arancine starter and Lobster ravioli main, both were excellent. I will definitely go again and definitely recommend this restaurant. The only moan I would have is the cost of the price of a bottle of Moretti, I've had cheaper bottles in London

Food was delicious and cannot fault. The service was poor, was not welcomed, slow service and was then rushed when finishing food. Our drinks order was wrong and mistakes were made between tables.

I recently visited an Italian restaurant with my friend, and while there were some good aspects, there were also a few disappointments. I specifically called to reserve a table at a time that suited me. However, when I called, the staff asked if I could come earlier because they would be very busy at my chosen time. I explained that this was the only time that worked for me, so I stuck to my original plan. When we arrived, our table was ready on time, which was nice. However, the tables were quite small, and we were seated in a corner, which felt a bit awkward. There were other available tables, so I’m not sure why we were placed there. The food was quite good—we both ordered pizza and had no major complaints about it. My friend ordered a canned drink, while I chose a fruit-based drink, which turned out to be mostly fruit with very little actual liquid. It was a bit strange, but perhaps that’s just their style of serving. One of the biggest downsides was that the restaurant was very cold. Considering they have a large oven, I expected it to be warmer, but we had to keep our coats on while eating. Additionally, the waitresses kept walking back and forth around the tables, often tripping over the chairs, which made the whole service feel a bit chaotic. At the end of our meal, we received a small flower as a nice gesture from the staff, which was appreciated. Would I go back? Probably not. The food was fine, but the overall experience and atmosphere didn’t make me want to return.

A Fantastic Local Gem! We’ve been visiting this restaurant since 2020, and even more frequently over the past couple of years. Every visit is a delight—we always feel warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The service is consistently excellent, and the team goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. We’ve recommended this restaurant to many friends and even brought our family from Australia here during their visit this past winter. Simone and Meana (I hope I’ve spelled and got their names correctly) are always friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. The food is absolutely delicious, with a well-curated menu offering something for everyone. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. We can’t recommend it highly. A family night out for a pizza. Great service with comfortable seating. There was an option to sit outside, but we chose to sit in as it was a little chilly. Good choice of drinks and a variety of pizzas to choose from. Plates were left clean at the end of the meal, as everyone enjoyed their choice. The children had delicious ice cream while we finished with a limonchelo.

We went in here on Mother's Day to enjoy a family meal together, and unfortunately the first half of our meal was rather ruined by the manager loudly arguing directly next to our table complaining about her customers to the other waitresses and generally making quite a loud and negative atmosphere. The other waitresses were very kind and once the manager left we had a much better time. Unfortunately it didn't appear to us that the other waitresses were very happy with the manager. The food was not the greatest, unfortunately, and two of our party could barely eat their prawn tagliatelle (they gave us 10% off as as a result). The Pollo all Valdostana (chicken, cheese, ham and tomato) was rather bland and the garlic bread with cheese and caramelised onions was drowned in onions and you could barely taste the cheese. They could also do with looking at dampening sound in the restaurant in general as when it's full I could barely hear the people next to me. I'd replace regular wall-art with sound-dampening art to improve ambiance. We'll be giving this restaurant a miss in future for these reasons

Lovely restaurant, staff are friendly. We've not been there in a long time, but each time when we do go, prices go up! It's very expensive now, portions aren't big for the price we pay? I know portions are smaller in a lot of places, cause it's to cut down on food wastes, but still pay the same price?

Coming back from a small holiday in south England, we were looking for a place to have lunch, and this turned out to be the cherry on the cake. The food was absolutely delicious! The pizza was the right amount of crunchy and soft at the same time. Sirloin fillet was fantastic - perfectly cooked and delicious. Many compliments to the chef and the pizza chef. Staff were also friendly and helpful. The waitress Mina was very kind. A real small piece of Italy!

Collecting was a breeze, however the food wasn’t great I ordered the Boss pizza and it was undercooked and soggy so much so it stuck to the cardboard. The spag bowl was good as were the chips, will be thinking twice about ordering again.

I have a lovely meal with supper tasty food. The restaurant had a lovey atmosphere, we had friendly and fast service, would recommend to all my friends abd family :)

We booked the restaurant for a Valentine’s lunch as we thought it would be nice to try it. The food was lovely, however it was so cold in there that we left our overcoats on! It was a pretty fresh day, but we weren’t expecting it to be cold inside. The background music was some kind of Middle Eastern punky type music, not exactly romantic and we both really dislike paper table cloths torn off a roll. Just felt a bit naff. Lovely food though, and attentive service.

This was my first experience of eating in this restaurant, and although the food was 'ok' I was disappointed with the attitude of our waitress who came across as very abrupt and not interested in customer service, just bossing the other staff around and then not giving them a chance to do things for themselves. After finishing our main meal we were asked if we would like a dessert, as I went to order mine the waitress totally blanked me and spoke to a member of her team, then proceeded to ask my partner what he would like to have and I ended up without one as she walked off not giving me a chance to speak. When we left she shook my hand and said Caio. Needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant again.

Could of been warmer but was still great

We were staying nearby and booked this restaurant having read the good reviews. The restaurant was very busy so quite noisy but there was a great atmosphere with everybody enjoying themselves. We shared a starter and had a main course each but the portions were too large for us to be able to consider a dessert. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed our visit.

Really nice meal here, service was good. Staff was great, One waitress was really chatty the other not so maybe it was her first week at work. The weekend before Christmas my brother and I with our partners had attended the local carol service on the green opposite your restaurant which was perfect as we then had a dinner reservation with you. On arrival we ordered the wine and meals, I had the Risotto Marinara which included a handful of mussels and a couple of calamari rings which I found to be chewy and a little tough. Not wishing to make a fuss as the rice was good I chose to eat most of it before mentioning it to the waitress who repeatedly told me that the seafood was fresh and I could see the invoices which I politely declined. I was then told I should have mentioned this at the start but I did not want a situation where the others had finished their meals when my replacement arrived. At no time did I ask for a refund, I simply mentioned the over cooked seafood to raise awareness to the kitchen for any future orders. After dessert we decided to leave and I went to pay the bill and was offered a reduction of £1.72 which I said was not necessary and wished the waitress a merry Christmas and shook her hand. At that time I was unaware that 2 of the male kitchen staff had been summoned into the restaurant presumably in case of any disagreement! We are all in our late 60s, I myself am 68 so were you worried in case we ran away without paying the bill or perhaps start a fight having been cheerful, respectful and pleasant all evening, SHAME ON YOU! In my life I have visited thousands of restaurants in the UK and around the world and never experienced anything like this, needless to say we will never return.

Christmas Day! My Father and I decided to have Christmas lunch out for the first time ever, and we were really glad that we did. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was really welcoming and Christmassy. Thank you team!

Mio dio che esperienza negativa. Il ristorante in se non è brutto ma si mangia da schifo. Basta leggere il menù per rendersi conto che è tutto tranne che un ristorante italiano. Panna e pollo sono ovunque. Il servizio dei camerieri non è male unico problema è che la manager urla come una pazza contro tutti i suoi colleghi, una persona davvero vomitevole. il cuoco, che mi è stato detto sia anche il proprietario, dovrebbe cambiare mestiere, la ristorazione non fa per lui. Uno schifo simile è davvero difficile da trovare.

Booked a table for 35 people and despite it being chaotic because of the sheer number of us, the staff sorted all of us equally and the food all came out around the same time. Very good restaurant

This was the worst meal I've ever eaten, cold plates fish over cooked veg under cooked and very small portions. Restaurant very cold, a throughly unpleasant evening, luckily good friends to take the edge off.

Work Christmas meal was good however hot food served on cold plates.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch here the female servers were friendly and warm the older gentleman was a bit gruff but ok. The food was tasty ( I would have liked a few more king prawns in my Diavola 4 wasn't enough 😔) and I do think adding a small salad to the chicken dishes would be a better idea than either a chip or salad option. Garlic bread delicious 😋

Having spent a weekend in the area, we were in need of dinner before making the long journey home. We stumbled over Nuova Italia as we were starting to head for home and were there for an early Sunday dinner. We tried the delicious new starter option suggested by our waitress, and ordered calzone for mains. The food was clearly fresh, speedily cooked, and before long we ordered dessert too. Nothing was at fault. Honestly delicious, speedily quick, and such good value. I wish I could visit sooner.

Amazing! Recently moved down here from Yorkshire so didn't know anywhere, booked here for my husbands birthday as my in laws were visiting. Everything was incredible, 4 adults and a child the food, the staff, drinks all of it was perfect and don't have a single fault.... they even gave us a loft home after we struggled to get a taxi.

We went for dinner, trying out local places having recently moved to the area. The atmosphere is nice, we wished it had been a smidge less chilly so we could have dined outside - the seating with the greenery and the lights is lovely. The menus seemed a bit used, but not dirty. Service was good, but felt awkward at times - sort of like they were unsure what to say or rather give us our space but also pop in. They were friendly though. Food service seemed quick, however we were pre dinner rush and it was also a Thursday evening. The menu seemed to have lots of options, but many of them were similar but with one variance. Something I was a little disappointed with was that although they were good, I felt myself wishing that the meat mains came with pastas instead of fries. It seemed disjointed. I got the chicken milanese which was a juicy peace of meat, but not enough sauce soaked into it. A creamy pasta side with it would have helped. My partner got pizza - he liked it, but I noticed the middle was quite soft, too soft compared to the outer edges. The deserts were lush though, drinks were nice. We plan to go back, again it wasn't terrible, just felt like some points could be improved on.

Happy atmosphere, good food and great service. Simona and her colleagues were particularly attentive and helpful . We had special requests which they conveyed to the kitchen, so the whole meal was just what we needed on our stopover after a long drive.

What an excellent Italian restaurant. A worthy winner of Best Italian Restaurant in South West England. Enroute to Tiverton we wanted lunch and to recover from delays on A303. One course would do. I had risotto gambaretti asparagi and my wife Pollo a cream e funghi. The risotto was full,of flavour, and contained many gently cooked prawns. Wife said that I would have loved her chick and no I couldn’t try it cos I’d take too much. Mains were so nice that we had pudding. My wife a soufflé and me canola. The soufflé was unlike any soufflé we had had in the past as I t seemed to be encased in pastry. I was allowed some of that. The staff, a Polish lady and a signorita from Salerno were both very professional and friendly.

A group of 9 of us had dinner for a birthday and the team that helped up on the 6th of September were incredible. All of us felt welcomed and had a great time. Atmosphere was amazing, food was perfect and they all made us giggle! Thank you!!

This is the fifth time we’ve been to this restaurant service is always excellent. Si Mona was our main server and is professional friendly and slightly cheeky which we really enjoyed. All the staff were very friendly and gave great service The food is very good and arrived quickly We are working our way through the menu.last night we tried the specials which we all enjoyed. My favourite is the pizza it is the closest to an authentic Italian pizza I have ever eaten outside of Italy. My partner always enjoys the pasta, especially the gnocchi. Would recommend this restaurant

The food beautifully cooked & presented, the wine & beer (& soft drinks too!) all of a great variety & taste great….your team - well you are fabulous …. We visited after a recommendation & we were not disappointed. The restaurant was larger than anticipated with a pretty outside covered terrace. As it was a little chilly we dined indoors . The restaurant was busy for mid week which is always a good sign . I ordered Brushetta , followed by Goats Cheese salad which was excellent . Other guests orders were Spaghetti Carbonara & a Pizza - all commented on the quality of the food. An enjoyable evening . One point to note , the music was just a little too loud . The restaurant acoustics are echoey already with the general chatter from diners .

Amazing place in the middle of nowhere (no offence to the locals intended, I am actually jealous they have it!) so literally a hidden gem! Food is full of flavour and some tastes felt novel and bold. The chefs are real Italians! Service was also great and the interior decorations are just right and comforting.

Stopped here on the way back to London from Cornwall and it was the perfect spot to have lunch. Plenty of options, and everything tastes great, especially the Pollo hot. Service was very nice and quick. Sat in the garden with the sun!

This is one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to in UK. The food was amazing.. we had pizzas, pasta and calzone and all were amazing. We didn’t wait long for it and prices were very reasonable, we were really pleasantly surprised. What was a one off stop while on the journey back from Cornwall, has now become an essential part of our future trips back from holiday :) 10/10!

I lead motorcycle rides for a Hampshire-based advanced motorcycle group. We usually ride to Nuova Italia a couple of times a year. Last Sunday, eight riders joined a ride from Winchester. At coffee break at Stourhead, I called the restaurant and said we'd be there for lunch before 1.00pm. Mina said that would be fine, but could we get there a bit earlier at 12.45pm. Well, we made good progress and arrived about 12.30pm. One of the attractions for us is that it's got a car park, so straight off the bikes and into the restaurant. We were given a table together in the outdoor covered area. Food and drinks were ordered and arrived promptly. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious! I ordered my favourite, a Salmone Tagliatelle, with a small glass of white wine. Service from Tracy was great; she knows our group from previous visits. If only Ilchester was closer to home, I'd come much more often. My favourite Italian restaurant! And, good to see the toilets are very clean.

Chance find for lunch on route from Devon to London. Great pizza, including the gluten free option. Very good and friendly service. Free parking up the road (with EV charger) plus a small car park next to the restaurant.

We eat here a lot and have never had a bad meal. The chef can’t do enough to help and most of the staff are very helpful. We love it here especially in the summer sitting outdoors.

Amazing food, varied menu, and great hospitality. Looking round, one got the impression that many people were returning customers, which is a good sign of the standard of service. Our hosts made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. Comfortably reassuring.

What a find!!! Fantastic, authentic Italian food, a warm and welcoming staff, comfortable and immaculate environment top quality servce and very reasonable prices. Could not fault a thing about this place. Smiling Simona, our waitress, topped it all off. We are all looking forward to our next visit with cannoli all round!

On holiday in Somerset we decided to try this restaurant due to the really positive reviews. We went on the Friday night, and had a really lovely time. Nicely decorated and really great food. Service was really good. We both had starters and then both had a pizza. Pizza's were tasty and cooked in a wood fire oven. Overall all a great experience, if we are ever down in the area again, we would book here straight away!!

Stopped in on our way down to Torquay. Trying to avoid the normal unhealthy chains. I'm glad we did. The food was lovely and priced so fairly. Kids loved being able to wa5ch the pizzas being made and popped in the pizza oven. Will definitely stop in again when travelling past.

The food was really tasty but the service left a lot to be desired. We arrived at 8pm and seated & drinks orders taken almost immediately, no problem there. However from that pint onwards we felt rushed and constant attention from staff almost wishing us to eat up and finish as it was obvious they wanted to close around 9pm. Before the drinks arrived we were instructed on the specials of the day, approximately 2 minutes later asked if we wanted to order! Drinks arrived and we ordered starters & mains but the whole process was not relaxing. A staff member must have visited our table at least three time looking at our plates during the main course as my wife finished before I did and wanted to take the plates away! I noticed a table of 6 gents to my right had at least 4 plates taken away whilst two were still eating, not good etiquette at all. Don’t think I will be returning, not a leisurely experience, staff need to be more respectful of customers paying for a restaurant experience.
