Went here for Birthday. Wonderful food, Staff and atmosphere. Definitely will come again, even when not a special occasion.

My fiancée works at Hinckley and I came down with her to visit the area, after driving 500 miles to get here we ordered takeaway from Roma. Takeaway. I drove into town to pick up the order, it was piping hot and was still hot when I got it back to our hotel. It was a Tuesday night and they only had two diners. We ordered two garlic breads, spaghetti bolognese, and lasagne. Why this restaurant only had two diners amazes me because everything, and I mean everything, was fantastic, it should be busy every night. My grandfather was Italian so I've eaten home cooked Italian food since I was a child and the good people at Roma took me straight back in time. We're going back for a sit in before the week is out!

I have had deliveries from this restaurant several times and always hot,tasty food in the time they gave or earlier! Delivered by polite staff. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Worst takeaway we’ve had. Orders and took 1hr 45 mins tot arrive, missing food- no chips served when stated served with chips. I ordered carbonara, Iv had to bin it. Ordered cheesy garlic bread, so cold and rock solid I couldn’t cut it. Tried calling the restaurant but either no answer or they’ve gone home for the night. We’ve spent £40 something on a date night takeaway and that even the dog won’t eat. Very disappointed as reviews lead us to believe this was going to be a nice meal not the average takeaway pizza. Wish I’d ordered McDonald’s. Will exspect a response from the restaurant

Second visit after the first visit we was a bit unsure of returning due to poor service but came back and wow service was amazing very professional and food was absolutely amazing will definitely recommend for either a quick meal of a date night

Booked here before looking on trip adviser as fancied Italian and it was close to where our onward appointment was. Before going we looked online for menu and stumbled unintentionally across Trip Advisor and the reviews for Roma. Reading a lot of poor reviews we started to think we could have made an error. WRONG…..never believe all you read. We were greeted at the door with an exceptionally warm welcome and immediately the lady suggested that perhaps the table they had assigned for us was too close to a family/child/pushchair……couldn’t agree more, that would have ruined our experience!..and found us a much quieter table for two. Service (throughout) was fast, efficient and courteous. Complimentary bread and olives a nice touch. The steak was cooked perfectly, the pasta like velvet and soooooo tasty !. Delicious ice cream too ! The only area that needs attention and causes the drop of a star for us is the toilet (singular)..surely one single unisex toilet for a restaurant of what…100/150 covers is not enough, maybe not even legal ?…whilst clean, there was no soap in dispenser which, considering we saw staff using toilet, was a bit of a worry. The room is probably big enough to split and provide two - needs some work there guys. We definitely will go back…often I suspect.

Party of 7 arrived for 7pm Shown our table andwere given menu each. Waited for a while before drinks order taken, We all knew what we wanted to eat , drinks arrived and waited and waited for food order to be taken. Almost an hour wait for food, t girls were pacing up and down, we wanted more drinks no one bothered to ask, Food however was very good, nice cheffy looking plates. 7 clean plates and still empty glasses. We did want desert and eventually got a single desert menu for the table. No explaination of deserts the girl who was obviously new had zero customer relation skills. Eventually the manageress arrived so i explained we were not having a desert because of the poor service. We did say though how good the food was. Let down by inexperienced staff. Unlikely to return despite the good food. Nikki said her rissotto was best ever had. Rissotto is not easy to perfect.

My husband & I with our 14 month old baby were staying at a hotel locally. Upon arrival which was a Friday early evening we were greeted by Sergey who took care of us from the moment we walked in with our young daughter. I chose to seat my family at the back purely of of not knowing how our baby would be. We were treated no different and was also welcomed by a lady called Kim who gave alot of attention to our daughter. The atmosphere in the restaurant on both days was superb and even though the restaurant was more busy on Saturday evening, they both including different staff members came to talk and play with our daughter. The food was outstanding and so fresh! Go go go to this restaurant you won't regret it

We visited Roma Restaurant on the night before our friend’s wedding and the five of us all agreed it was excellent. I had the baked penne with chicken and pepperoni, a very tasty dish and great value for money. We shared a garlic pizza bread and it was huge and proper Italian style thin crust (Napoli style)… all very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area, a lot better than the various chain-store options in the town.

Just had a really good delivery 2 course meal. Delivered by Steve. Very efficient & friendly. Food exceeded our expectations. The sirloin steak was perfectly cooked medium as requested. Steve even popped back to deliver a complimentary bottle of wine. Would recommend & order again

Ordered a calzone from them and turned up with hardly anything in it that it tasted of bread. When I complained to them about it all they said was that it is meant to be like that and there is nothing they can do. You can get a better calzone from Asda.

We'd been down to the west country for a short break and wanted a meal before we hit the motorway. However, a lot of restaurants on our trip from Minehead to the M5 were closed, and in the current pandemic situation it can be difficult to find somewhere that accepts walk-ins. By the time we reached Bridgewater just before 6pm, we were hungry - hadn't been able to find anywhere open (or affordable) since breakfast. So we parked up on Market Street and started looking through Trip Advisor for recommendations. Roma is in a street with a lot of restaurants and takeaways, but we didn't fancy eating in the (new) car and liked the look of the menu so we went in. A warm welcome, and swiftly seated away from the tables that had been reserved, and our details were taken for contact-tracing (no problem with that). We went for the 5-7 p.m. £10.95 special: three courses and every course was excellent. We went for bruschetta (good, tomatoes could have had more flavour) and cheesy garlic bread (excellent: thin and very tasty). Mains - he went for a chicken and mushroom pizza, I had the pollo pesto. Both good. Desserts - strawberry cheesecake and (of course) tiramisu. Despite it being a 'budget' option, the ingredients used were fresh, and the portion size was good. Only downside was the beer was expensive (£5 for a pint of draught cider) but as I was driving I was happy with a hot chocolate (delicious)

Great find. 3 course happy hour special between 5pm and 7pm just £10.95. Garlic mushrooms and bruchetta starters were delicious, Pizza and Carbonara mains were great and Tiramasu and chocolate fudge cake to finish it all off. Amazing value for money, really welcoming and friendly staff, efficient service, great Covid secure features. Well spaced with sanitiser on every table and super clean throughout. We'll definitely be back!

Had the calamari for starters that tasted like it had been fried in concrete. Actually thought I had broken a tooth trying to eat it. Main course spaghetti marinara was excellent. Was very slow service with no atmosphere at all. What is stopping me from going again is the lack of curtesy to customers who had booked through the advertisement from gov.uk website for eat out to help out. If you are going to withdraw from a nationwide scheme, please the curtesy to either advertise that you have withdrawn or honour customers who have booked whilst it is advertised. It appears other customers are also annoyed by this

Do not order from this place, we eat a lot of take aways and never before have I paid good money for such bland rubbish, I could of got much tastier food for a fraction of the price at any super market, I had spicy pasta which was about as spicy as a cucumber and my wife had a dish she now calls pasta and water,my daughter had a burnt garlic bread and we all shared bland soft chips, would be very surprised if this place is still open in 12 months.

I have never written a review before but i was so annoyed and disappointed that i had to! Cold food, missing food, slimey food, taste of old cooking oil all for £45!! Very very bad and i would not call myself a fussy eater. Avoid.

Ordered from here before and it was ok and as we wanted pasta and didn’t want to cook we thought we would try it again. Why did I bother!!!! Mine had the tiniest chunks of chicken (clearly frozen). Mushrooms were just shop bought smart price and no taste at all. Hubby had the seafood and the bisque didn’t exist!! Watery, slightly tomatoey and all the seafood didn’t taste of seafood at all. We had to add other flavours to make it edible and for the price, I wish I had cooked now. Now I know lockdown is hard but we’ve ordered food from a few places during lockdown and it has been just as good as sitting in and eating a meal. Just seems a quick and cheap way to get the money coming in. Further to add, I found a short black hair on my pasta! We are both blonde, so explain that one? Really gutted as we looked forward to this meal and paid £30 for 2 pasta dishes and garlic bread and didn’t get food worth half that. We’ve ate out a lot over the years and I love cooking (most of the time) so we know we are not being picky. The dishes were not hard to get right, yet they were so wrong

I've ate here a few times and the food has been great. Very disappointed this time around, prawn dishes only had one big prawn more pasta than anything else. Mushroom risotto was tasteless and lacked any chicken. We ordered outside the shop and waited for it to be cooked. I wouldnt return again!!!!

Met my partner's sister & brother in law for a Friday evening meal which was absolutely lovely - had the early bird which is served between 5pm - 7pm which is amazing value for money ! Really large portions , lovely food & very friendly , helpful staff . Very impressed & will be back

A practically empty restaurant, (should have known better but it was early), and the waiter put us on a table at the front and could not put elsewhere as no tables were laid!! Why didn't we leave then?!! Ordered a sparkling mineral water (driving) which was £3.40 for a 500ml PLASTIC bottle???!!! My friend and I both ordered chicken pasta dishes. Both were served on cold plates and we therefore had lukewarm dishes!! Rather greasy too and the cubed chicken was novel!!! The only saving grace about this restaurant were the free olives and toasted bread. Even the waiter told us he couldn't wait to leave as it was embarrasssing!!!!! Obviously the owners aren't that bothered about the cheap ingredients, lack of heating, employing the right people for job or decor, as we sat with mining lamps tilted on the walls with a nice bit of grime on them.........only noticed afterwards!!!! Shame as I had heard good things but the person had been there several years ago!!! Live and learn and we weren't charged for the water as we complained somewhat!!,

Decided pretty much on the spur of the moment to have a meal here after the cinema. Greeted without a smile and directed to a table for 2 adjacent to the main door. Every time it opened an icy blast engulfed us. We asked if we could move to a different table - no problem. I ordered a steak and was told the choice of ribeye was not available so decided to opt for rump. My wife opted for the chicken and peppers in white wine sauce with rice. The waiter returned 2 minutes later to say the rump wasn't available either so I decided to have the Calzone Pizza. The meals arrived but I could see on my wife's face that she wasn't happy. Tasting it you could tell that something (I suspect the chicken) had been so badly burned that the whole meal was so bitter as to be inedible. We asked for it to be exchanged for something edible - a simple Magherita. As for the Calzone, there was nothing original about it - the ingredients were supermarket ham and either tinned or preserved mushroom slices accompanied by a half pint of a red liquid which I presumed was some sort of sauce. Both the pizza and it's sauce had absolutely no taste whatsoever, the pizza base was undercooked in places and the whole thing was lukewarm. The only redeeming aspect of this meal was the young lady who could smile and was very apologetic about the chicken. Perhaps we ate on an off day but from this experience we won't be back!

Was advised by management that there was no special menu for Christmas, just order from the on line menu. Pre ordered as was requested for 16 people. Paid deposit in advance. Collected money ready for the night (so I thought no hassle). WRONG! They had put their prices up and had not advised me at all (although they had all my details) so when I paid the bill we were £26 short. So had to scrape together extra money and use what would have been their tip to pay the extra bill. As I made my feelings known, they agreed to refund £24 as they agreed they were in the wrong. Not happy about this! They still had this as their tip - as to return this to the staff was a nightmare. SO PLEASE CHECK THE PRICES BEFORE YOU ORDER.. Not happy and out of order. I use this restaurant regularly as a family and was happy to promote it to friends/colleagues. Put me off a bit. The food is good value for money though.

4 of us ate off the Happy Hour menu, 3 courses £9.99 (5pm to 7pm). Good food, great quality, hot and decent size portions. House wine not the best quality, no draught beer or cider but cans. Apart from that good value for money. This is my second visit over the last few months and definitely will return

3 courses for £9.99 an absolute bargain and no cost cutting when selecting from the early menu . We had garlic mushrooms and potato skins to start , mushroom risotto and a pepperoni pizza as mains and cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake as desserts . Lovely food and good service.

We arrived at 8pm , the time we had booked the table for and found our table by dint of it being the only large table in the restaurant. At 8.30pm one of our party went to the bar and asked if we could have some drinks. About 10 minutes later someone took our drinks order and the drinks were delivered. We then placed our food orders. By 9.30pm there was no sign of our food and our table had not been visited by any of the waiting staff with an explanation nor any offer of further drinks. Eventually our food turned up but we were told that the kitchen had run out of rice which several people had ordered. Most of the food was OK to good but a couple of dishes had dried out so as to be virtually inedible. No one offered any more drinks at any time during the evening. We were all very disappointed as we had been looking forward to the evening. We were not offered a dessert menu either. We will not be visiting again

Went along to Roma last night for a friends birthday. I don't eat meat but found quite a few options for myself. When deciding to have two starters instead of a main the waitress was perfectly accommodating to my request.My only comment here is that I had a half size pasta for my main and was sat next to someone having the full size. Yeah. They were the same size. Very good for a customer to get a bargain I guess but I hate wasting food and ordered a small because of it. I ended up leaving half of it. Perhaps the chef might need to look into that . Chargrilled Halloumi was delicious. And the complimentary olives and bread was a lovely touchDecor was a conversation piece enjoyed by all. The staff were lovely and after some years away from Bridgwater it felt great to be somewhere like this. It was a good, authentic Italian which I enjoyed immensely. Price great too. (But I got more then I should have! ) Please consider getting arancini on the menu guys and i will visit every week!

We decided to try this restaurant after a visit to the cinema an a Sunday evening.Good service, good food, good prices-including a bottle of house wine. We will be back.

I visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago with my wife. We were presented with a special menu which offered 3 courses for £9.95 so we ordered from there. After the starter and the main course we decided we couldn't manage a dessert so decided to settle the bill and leave. On checking the receipt later, we found we had been charged £7.50 more than it should have been and we were told it was because we hadn't eaten all three courses so we had to pay the full price for what we had eaten! When I pointed out we could have ordered a dessert and left it on the table the waitress said we could have had a doggy bag! It's not as if we were asking for a reduction and what about the waste? Despite several revisits to discuss this with the owner "Hussein" he was always found to be on holiday and has not tried to contact me by phone. I consider this to be sharp practise and offer this as a warning to others!

Fab food, and attentive (but not overly) staff. Free olives to start. Everything cooked from fresh. They now do a special between 5pm and 7pm £10 for 3 courses, Monday to Thursday when eating in. You won't find a better deal.

12 of us went there for a birthday celebration and the food was lovely. All of our food came out hot and at the same time, although the desserts were rather staggered.

The venue is very charming ..menu affordability made me happy with this. I came before and I will come again

As a Coeliac I find it difficult when eating out but I had absolutely no concerns at Roma. A full gluten free menu was available and I was even invited to try gf bread with olives as we waited for our starter, hands down THE BEST GF BREAD I HAVE EVER EATEN. The food was incredible and the customer service was outstanding. The children were given lolly pops with the presentation of the bill. I even left the restaurant with a sample gf pizza base to go away and make my own pizza.

We popped in for a quick dinner after the cinema. I had been told this was a fantastic restaurant so had high expectations. Decor disappointing. An odd mix of pictures, dart board, Italian football shirts that looked like they had been stapled to the wall or draped over a partition, looked like someone had forgotten to collect their washing!

Had a lovely meal here this evening. A party of 22. Well recommended place to go friendly staff and the food was amazing all came out piping hot . Really recommend

Last night myself and a friend had the pleasure of dining at the Roma restaurant and I was massively impressed. We were greeted by a warm guy called Serge who showed us to a table of our choice. We chose the back of the restaurant as the front was quite busy and a little noisy. Serge took our drinks order (I ordered a bottle of red wine) and when he was pouring the wine he told us that its normal practice for the waiter to taste the wine if a man is not present which neither of us knew and was interesting to know! We ordered a starter and main each and had olives to nibble on whilst waiting for our food. The olives were delicious and the starter and main just devine. All throughout the meal both the waitress and Serge were attentive and I can honestly say its probably the nicest Italian food ive ever tasted. Would highly recommend Roma!

8 of us went for a meal at Roma and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Great service. Good value and excellent food.

We visited Roma on Friday 7th June and can honestly say we had a great time.

This restaurant provides a varied Italian menu but lacks atmosphere. The restaurant feels dark and poorly lit, however, the food certainly makes up for it and is well prepared, presented and exquisite in taste although probably too much sauce on some dishes.

Eight of us went out to celebrate my birthday. We all ordered a different dish and everyone was delighted with their choice. Although there were many customers the layout meant our party was relaxed and unhurried. Thanks to the staff and chefs for their brilliant produce, to Lesley for suggesting this and to Helen for a gorgeous birthday cake and to Marcia, Andrea, Jill, John, Trish, Les & Helen for making this such a pleasure for me. Hope to be visiting again soon.

I ordered a few times before, but today was a big disappointment. The food was late 30 minutes, and when the driver called me, he did not understand a question "where are you" and he hanged the phone on me. Than I saw him running on the street with a 6-7 years old kid, it was about 8pm! I shout them "I'm here!" The delivery man didn't speak English at all, he just show me the price. The pizza was barely warm, The chicken on the pizza, really dry. The only reason I didn't send it back, is because, he did apologies many times and I was sorry for them.

Been here a few times and the food has been good. However recently ordered two takeaways of the ribeye steak pizzaiola. The sauce was nice but the steaks were inedible. Very chewy and indigestible. Change of meat supplier ? A bad batch? Staff pleasant as always shame about the food.

Lovely restaurant, pleasant waiters. But really I just wanted to say how impressed I was with the prices. They are actually reasonable. I was worried the food might be small and horrible but oh my god was I impressed. Im a person who expects a good potion that I won’t be hungry after and this restaurant provided it. Not only the portion size was amazing but the taste was lovely too. Always go back here when I want nice food, decent price and good service.

As I stay in Bridgewater Monday to Friday we tend to go here once a week special offers between 5&7 three courses for £9.95 what more could you want staff are really pleasant.

Thurs night, booked a table and three of us ate from the 3 courses for £9.95 menu. Very generous portions and left over pizza and garlic bread was boxed up to take home. Lemonade with my wine was flat, no problem they poured another straight away. Have had their takeaway since and just as great. Has become a firm favourite of ours

Amazing food... and really friendly staff. The food was plentiful and well presented. The carbonara was really creamy. I had the liver pate and the carbonara and vanilla ice cream for dessert and all for £9.99. We'd heard it was good food here and now we know for sure. We will definitely be back. One of the best places to eat in Bridgwater.

Three of us sat down, arrived before our booked time, no issues with that from friendly staff. Dined off The Happy Hour menu, excellent value. Girls had good pizzas, I had a very tasty and spicy Penne Diavalo and the sweets were enjoyed by all.

Had the pleasure of visiting this gem last night with my friend on our way out for the evening, fabulous welcome with the gypsy kings playing in background so off to a perfect startWe had the ‘happy hour’ menu absolute bargain. Opted for pate & bruschetta to start both of us chose pizzas delicious and for desert tiramisu & cheesecake again delicious. Can’t thank you enough for looking after us and the chef for the most delicious meals and the staff for being so attentive. See you again soon.

Called in for a takeaway. Ordered the steak crema. Offered a choice of steak. Went for the ribeye. Fantastic ! The sauce of cream mushroom brandy and pepper was amazing. One of the best steaks I've had. The chips (a lot!) were the size of roast potatoes but extremely good. The service and greeting were exceptional and the door opened on leaving. The restaurant looked very clean with good decor. Cannot fault the place or the food. bellissimo

We decide to visit the Roma restaurant after some recommendations. Having never visited before we didn’t know what to expect. The staff were very welcoming and friendly which is always a great start when you are out for a meal.

We always come to this restaurant and spent a lot of time here over Christmas and New Years Eve which was fantastic! Atmosphere, entertainment, food amazing as always and staff so lovely nothing was too much for then and we didn’t feel rushed. The manager sent us over a bottle of red free if charge which was so kind! We would highly recommend it here we bring our children all the time.

Eight of us ate here at the weekend and had a very good time. I wasn't expecting a great deal when we walked in as the decor needs updating somewhat, feels rather dated.

Cannot rate this enough, food was amazing, portion size is generous. Comes with free olives and bruschetta to start. Have been here a couple of times now and both times were fabulous. Better still they also do delivery.

I have been in Roma Restaurant last month with few of my friends . Food was great and the service was exlelent. I reccommend everybody in Bridgwater to visit and taste the lovely food. I will be back soon, thanks to everybody in Roma for great food and hospitality.

I took my family of 8 to the restaurant for the first time and found it an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in we were made welcome. The front of house staff were excellent and very patient with the children. The food was fantastic and there was somthing for everyone. I would definitely go back again as a party as all of us enjoyed the food the company and the staff 10 out of 10.

We have eaten here many times, small parties, large parties and the food and service is always excellent, very good value for money in a lovely relaxed setting, portion sizes are generous, but if you have space the panna cotta is amazing

There was 8 people in our party, the service was very good and very friendly. We all had starters which came very quickly, all presented very well and all tasted amazing not one of the party was disappointed, we all had our main course and again no-one was dissapointed, great flavour and great presentation all very good portion sizes as none of us had room for dessert, desserts on another table looked very good though. Would highly recommend Roma, all in all very friendly, great service and very cheap, will b returning to Roma again

This is my first TripAdvisor post, I enjoyed our night at Roma so much that I felt compelled to give it a review.

Pretty average for an Italian, nothing to write home about. The garlic mushroom starter was drowned in garlic and had to be returned. Vegetables with main were microwaved, not fresh :(

Been here very often, food is taste all ways same all ways tastfull best italian food and so friendly staff thank you all the roma staff for amazing food and great hospitality..

Came here as a group of 8 service was quick then slowed but it did get busy so no real fault of the staff every one enjoyed there food very much and found it all very tastey one of our group did not enjoy her lasagne she said it was lacking in herbs all in all we had a great night fantastic female singer which was very nice touch and she was very good we will return to try more of the menu

After reading many good reviews , I thought it was time to pay a visit and we were not disappointed at all. The place is very welcoming and cosy. Food was lovely and fresh. The only thing that made it tiny bad is the quick rush of taking the plates straight after we put our forks down. I would definitely visit again! The bill came and it was very reasonable for four people - drinks, mains and desserts £77 including tips.

We had an excellent meal with good service. The Alla Grillia is fantastic. The staff were top class.

Nice restaurant but the chefs are clearly not Italian! Garlic bread starter was the size of a big main course pizza which was too much. The chef had used far too much garlic including the green part which made it bitter and left an aftertaste.

Been many times and have always had great food, great service at great prices. The only disappointment we've suffered is when we haven't booked on a Saturday night and turned up to find it full. Get booking, highly recommend Roma.

We called in on Wednesday night I had a ribeye steak and it was fabulous.The staff couldn’t do enough to help and where very friendly.I highly recommended it and will use again.

Had a meal here one last week (24/09/2018) both my wife and i enjoyed the food, good sized portions and very reasonably priced, I had the meatballs spagetti which was a massive plate of food, whilst my wife had the creamy fish dish.

This was an impulse meal, walking past to another restaurant we decided to give it a try. We were very pleasantly surprised. Food was well presented, tasty, good quantities and not just the normal Italian. My black pudding starter was excellent. A very good pizza too. We will return.

My son and I went here for the first time after having passed in front of the place in the car a couple of times. The food was super, the portions were good and the staff were attentive and affable. If only they had some limoncello on the shelf, the place would be perfect

I ordered a Delivery from here and the entire experience was top class.The ordering was very easy and the menu clearly explained what each meal was so you knew exactly what to expect. I started with Garlic mushrooms which is one of if not my favorite Italian starters......Mushrooms in white wine & cream sauce with garlic it also came with some very nice bread which I wasn't expecting nice touch i thought to mop up that lovely sauce or to pile some mushrooms onto....... it was so delicious, lots of mushroom garlic and cream very flavorsome and temperature nice and hot. My main was Chicken Arrabbiata.....Breast of chicken in an onion, pepper, fresh chilli, white wine & tomato sauce.... wow this blew me away, everything in the description was there no complaints here at all again the temperature was also nice and hot i didn't even need to reheat it even though it stood for a couple of minutes while i ate my starter I had this with rice which was fluffy and hot and I also ordered garlic bread which was nice and hot garlicky and so big i was expecting the usual baguette type but it was like a garlic pizza without the tomato obviously. The delivery driver was really nice and friendly and carefully explained the garlic bread was in the pizza box at the bottom of the stack of food he handed me. It arrived 30 mins early which I was very impressed with. I'm very happy with my ordering, delivery and food experience and would never hesitate in returning, now is the difficult bit choosing what to have out of all the delicious offerings on the menu. I will definitely recommend Roma Ristorante to my friends and family and cant wait til I return.

went there 2 months ago had a nice meal with good service and friendly staff went back last week and found a terrible reversal. someone else had commented on how poor there experience was and due to our previous good experience we said they must have had a one of bad night. But sorry to say they were correct the food was of very low standard with two of our party leaving most of their main course. the service was atrocious we had to go and find staff when ordered drinks did not arrive, then to get a desert menu and then to get the bill when staff were present they were rude and surly. none of the tables were cleared and all the tables were filled with leftover food which had not been eaten. all in all a pretty poor experience.

A group of 8 of us dined at Roma on a busy Friday evening and were not disappointed. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived and there was nowhere to sit while the staff quickly got it ready but, apart from that, we had a lovely evening.

Great food, we’ve really enjoyed our four dishes between us both. Well worth visiting . We will definitely return. Only downer the waitresses need to cheer up more. Smiles and sincerity go along way.

First time at this restaurant, booked earlier in day and turned up on time, pretty busy with a few big parties. Shown to table and given menus. Then ignored for ten minutes. Finally ordered. Starter garlic mushrooms was good and no issues, calamari a bit rubbery but ok. Mains came, pizza ordered was prosciutto ham and mushroom with extra chicken. I got a ham and mushroom pizza with supermarket ham, no chicken and certainly not genuine prosciutto ham. Lasagna average. Never got asked if we wanted more drinks till we had finished and drink glasses had been empty for 20mins! So left at that point, they took the pizza off the bill, which was good and professional but generally this is a very poor Italian diner and won’t be going back. Not top dollar prices but needs some serious management in place.

First time in Roma, amazed how busy it was for a Tuesday evening, had not booked but got a table. Service a bit slow but very friendly waitress’s. Food good except a few things, firstly cold plates! But good especially with pasta dishes, chips way over cooked as was the veg! Witless go again but hopefully get things a bit better next time.
