The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

I have had the pleasure of dining and drinking at Bacchus several times, and every visit has been fantastic. Patrik, who is essentially the face of the restaurant, is not only a great host but is a brilliant chef where his talent and passion shines through in every dish he creates. The entire team at Bacchus is equally fantastic - friendly and dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience. On my most recent visit, Bacchus faced an unexpected power failure in the kitchen on a busy Saturday night. Despite the circumstances, the team went to great lengths to ensure that everyone still enjoyed their meal/night. The food they crafted under pressure was remarkable, demonstrating their commitment to customer satisfaction. It's truly impressive how they turned a challenging situation into yet another memorable experience. Bacchus is my favorite restaurant in town, and I recommend it to anyone seeking great Italian food and excellent service. Also a great spot if you are after great wine or cocktails. The food has no flavour what so ever and everything was dry! The main host stephano I think his name is? Was very touchy feely with all the women including his youg female waitress! Was extremely disturbing and off putting. I heard he hires young girls and acts very weird around them. So please don’t ever work there. Disgusting. Update for your reply, you think it’s okay to put your hands/arms around peoples waist etc…you know exactly what I mean. You touch female staff constantly & touch customers!

By far our favourite place in Olney. Amazing food (especially the cannoli) super friendly staff, and they are all so fantastic with our two small children. Genuinely can’t think of better.

Visited rustico with a friend, despite being busy, the Manager Tom was incredible, fast service, super friendly, and was so accommodating.

The pizza has always been amazing. The addition of burgers and now loaded fries. Delicious. The jam and satay burger is not something I would usually go for but you must try it, it's so good! Thanks to Calum and the team.

If you're looking for the most authentic Italian dining experience in MK, this place won't disappoint! The service was outstanding, with the staff being both friendly and well-informed. Everything was served fresh and piping hot. The pizza, especially with olives and mushrooms, was absolutely delicious – a true highlight!

Pre theatre meal. Food good and service very attentive staff, in particular Laura, who was efficient, friendly and bubbly. Booked for 6pm and out in plenty of time to get to the White Rock, which is a gentle 5 minute walk away.
