We took a party of 16 for a pre wedding meal all choosing different dishes. The waiters were excellent and the food delicious.

I feel the staff need to be more attentive, four to five staff front of house should be enough but long waits in between courses wasn't asked if we require another drink and one person on our table had to wait for their food... Caesar salad!!! Food was brilliant

What a gem. Staff are amazing. Food is out of this world. The best birthday dinner ever. Lobster cooked to perfection. Portions are massive. You must eat here you won't regret it. Oh and the Espresso Martini's are the best.

Lunch at Dolce Vita was wonderful! Besides the regular menu, they have a 2 or 3 course pre-fix menu at lunch time, which is a great value. I had the calamari, carbonara, and tiramisu on the 3 course menu which were all good. The tiramisu is to die for. Absolutely amazing and will go here again.

Had the lunchtime menu. Incredible value, excellent quality and very friendly service. Best macchiato outside of Italy! This was my first visit to the Dolce Vita and it certainly won't be my last.

This is a nice place with great decor. We went in early March and it was great food, great service and a very pleasant experience. Not quite so this time. Everything seemed to take ages. We waited so long for the main course we asked for some bread and olive oil - this didn't come until we got the main course which defeated th object. I had a lasagne which was burned and they forgot the salad, when I complained that it was burned the manageress started laughing; she did ask if I wanted another one but I would have to wait so I declined opting to scrape off the burned top layer. The four waiting staff were pretty poor, very young and most probably untrained and just didn't seem to know what to do. The rest of the food was pretty good. This was birthday celebration but it turned into a damp squib due to the burned food, long wait and inattentive staff. We finished the main course and went elsewhere.

Incredible service and the food was absolutely incredible. Recommend the charcuterie board for a sharing starter. Big portions, incredible for value for money. Aperol Spritz was 10/10. Highly recommend.

We visited The Cotswolds for a wedding, Easter weekend we were staying near Dolce Vita and thought we would give it a visit. We were made very welcome from the start all staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and really good value for money. Would definitely visit again if we ever came to The Cotswolds again.

It was very busy and noisy on a Saturday night - not suitable for a romantic evening. Nevertheless we enjoyed good food (huge portions) and attentive service. All in all friendly and good value for money.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We walked in had choice of where to sit . Started with garlic bread each big enough for 2 people just one . Mains were perfect cooked exactly as we want . Couldn’t fault anything and service was first class.

This place is amazing I went there with my family for my mums 40th birthday ,the staff was so nice but watch what you buy because our total was about £150

Steak was massively overpriced and overcooked. Pasta was just ok. Chips were really good. I asked for no veggies with the steak and it came with veggies. Overall not a great experience

I have been here a few times - admittedly not for evening meal, but for lunch. My wife and I like to come here with our 10 year old Grandson who loves the place. The set price lunch (for Mon-Fri) is incredible value, particularly as the quality of the food and the portion sizes are excellent, and a a decent range on the menu. I cannot imagine that the set price menu is very profitable for the proprietor but hopefully is gets people to experience the restautant and return for an eveining meal. Every time we've been there for lucnh it's been very quiet. I think the owner needs to find ways of promoting the lunch deal as it is a real bargain and will no doubt be attractive to more mature potential customers who have the time to lunch midweek.

Wonderful service from Jan and delicious pizza. My wife and I had a Hawaiian pizza, 2 lattes, a side salad and an Americano. The ambience here is something to look forward to.

The waiting staff are very attentive and helpful. Me and my wife usually get a pizza and pasta dish which we split in half so that we get the best of both worlds. Pizzas here always have lots of toppings and the tagliatelle dish was excellent.

Food was so good, had lasagne and tiramisu for dessert. Service was a little bit slow but it was very busy and we didn't mind too much as was talking and the staff were so polite!

Wow. Seriously wow. I've lived in the area for two years and only on my leaving party do I manage to come here. I'm gutted I didn't manage to come before. Being my party I managed to sample a lot of the dishes. My seafood risotto was delicious, but the winner of the evening was the walnut and pear risotto. I have never tried anything like it, it was truly special. I fully reccomend coming here. P.s. the guy who runs it is actually Italian 😉

Food and service is always consistently great! Reasonably priced for good quality food and portions. Our last visit was with grandchildren and the children’s food was really high quality which makes a nice change from the usual offerings elsewhere.

We called in for lunch yesterday having never been before as we were looking for somewhere nice to eat. Although the service was a little slow (to be fair, we hadn't booked and there were 7 of us!) the food was amazing! Freshly cooked, really delicious, beautifully presented and generous portion sizes. The desserts were also really good, again decent size portions and delicious! I also recommend the coffee! We will definitely be visiting again!

Our second Sunday visit for an alternative to usual roast. Last weeks chicken in mushroom sauce was amazing. Today's seafood risotto was even better. One important point to take on board.......don't come here if you are not hungry....dishes are huge !!!

Under new management and a welcome change. I've visited twice recently and both times the food has been well prepared and tastes lovely. Only complaint would be that sometimes it can be a little slow, this is understandable when busy but it was quieter on one of the visits so would have expected quicker service. It was however worth the wait.

I visited the restaurant with my husband on 29th Sep as a celebration of our wedding anniversary. The decor has been updated since the new management took over and has a warm cosy feel. The ladies loo could do with a better paint job but...

Just had a meal here for the first time. 55 minutes for our drinks to arrive, our sharing starter came before the drinks with no apology. The sharing platter was not very good at all. Mixture of fish which was really dry and tasteless on a bed a browning ice berg lettuce strips. Mains were much better but the poor and slow service and awful starter will mean I won't return. Silly things too like serving a 330ml bottle of beer in a pint glass. Simple hospitality things.

I took a group of 21 people on a mid-week lunch and we had the special lunch menu. £12.95 for 2 courses and £15.95 for 3 course with service charge for a large group. The food was excellent, very good quality and huge portions. Very good value for money. Only downer was that we hadn't been told about the service charge beforehand. However, we will definitely go back again. The staff were very good.

This is a hidden gem. Don’t be scared by the large menu! The food was incredible. The calamari was top tier and the pizza (Lucifero) was perfect. I insist you have the Caesar Salad, it’s the best I’ve ever had! The staff were so polite and the atmosphere was great (for a Tuesday night). To top it off, the panna cotta and Cannolo Siciliano were great. Can’t recommended this place any more. IS & JH

First reaction when walking into the restaurant was that it looked nicely decorated. Unfortunately it was disappointing thereafter. The restaurant seemed slightly understaffed with one person and her manager waiting an entire restaurant by themselves. As a result, the service was very slow and non attentive, and we waited a long time for our food, which was very mediocre. The price is quite steep for the quality of the food and the level of service.
