Morelli Zorelli in Brighton and Hove

We visited this restaurant for pizza and drinks. The staff were incredibly welcoming and the pizza was excellent. Good choice of drinks also.

They serve the best pizza anywhere and the staff are super friendly. Great guys. A small independent pizza restaurant, but proper Italian guys making Italian pizza. We often come here. It is not a chain but a small business. They offer food in house and to take away. Great drinks, great pizza.

It was absolutely delicious! Servise was great. People were so nice! Definitely we will come again.

I had fried Calzone, the cheese was rubbery when heated which I left but the meat and outside crust was nice. The meatballs were amazing and also the pizza. Would of been 5 star it the Calzone was better. The young lady serving was very attentive and friendly.

Been one of my favourite pizza spots for years! Staff and pizza has been consistently amazing, whether eating in or takeaway. The Napoli is my go to 🤤

Oh my gosh amazing pizza and flavours! We got the meatballs and bruschetta to start. Meatballs were soft and very flavourful. Bruschetta was very fresh and great to start. For pizza we ordered the margarita and the crudo. Such amazing taste, lots of stringy cheese and loaded woth toppings, parma ham was fabulous. A must of visiting Brighton! Great music and atmosphere too l! Love it!

It was my first time visiting this place. Lovely, delicious pizza, we had Napoli and Diavola. Yumm! The tiramisu was to die for too! The staff were really friendly.

The pizzas we had were pretty nasty. The veg caused a pool of water to form, leading to a really soggy base. There was also way too much cheese, which sat on top of the chorizo resulting in a slimy unpleasant texture. It’s a shame because the dough is really nice, and the restaurant has good vibes.

Having been let down at the last moment by another restaurant, we spent late afternoon searching for a good place with space for six people on a weekend night, so were pleased to be able to get in here given its good reviews. Little did we know though that our initial misfortune was about to be rewarded with a truly exceptional experience. Morelli-Zorelli - while having hidden dining space downstairs - is still a small and fairly 'no-frills' eatery, though what it lack in bells and whistles it more than makes up for with great hospitality and even greater food. Our table was just inside the door, initially a worry on what was a very chilly night, but soon forgotten given the warmth of welcome and the very friendly vibe. We opted for shared garlic bread and olives to start (the former being particularly modish when smothered in melted mozzarella) but the stars to the show here were our pizza mains. Mine - a slighted amended capriciossa - was absolutely delicious, and, though extremely generously-portioned, was seen off without much effort. Simialrly positive noises were heard from the rest of our party. The drinks menu was equally excellent - authentic draft Italian lager complemented by very reasonable and quaffable Italian wines and some great cocktails (including excellent espresso martinis). To top it all, service was excellent - friendly and informal and always attentive and we were treated to a round of complimentary and very welcome limoncellos from the smiling chef. If you're ever in the neighbourhood and want an excellent and enjoyable dining experience, do make a beeline for Morelli Zorelli.

We’d been before and really enjoyed, so it was a bit disappointing this time when I ordered a vegan pizza from the menu and it came with dairy cheese. I then had to wait for a remake while my partner’s pizza went cold. No compensation was offered at all. The new pizza when it arrived was tasty however, but the evening was a bit spoilt.

Wonderful place!! The staff is excellent, the food is amazing, and the overall experience is great! Very reasonable prices and wonderful food and atmosphere.. highly recommend it!

We love Morelli Zorelli! So much so that we decided to inquire about hiring the space for a meal after our low key town hall wedding. To say they were accommodating, helpful and hospitable would be an understatement. They truly went above and beyond to make sure they understood what we wanted. On the day the food went down so well with our guests and we all left very happy and very full! We had 20 guests sitting down stairs and it was perfect

Incredibly welcoming hosts serving amazing pizza! We visited as our daughter is gluten free and we're not disappointed. Lovely fresh ingredients and tasty pizza served in cozy surroundings. Our hosts were also incredibly friendly, willing to chat, and spend time with us all. Highly recommended.

Wow!! This is a gem of a place! Service excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. The pizza was great - tasty… best I’ve had in a long time! The base was crispy.. I had the cappriocosa this was great. The chef … wow he was so busy. In the time we were here he didn’t stop. This place offers takeout as well as serving customers in the restaurant. The place was constantly buzzing and customers coming and going whilst we were here. This place is well worth the visit!!

Morelli Zorelli has been myself and my friends' go-to for delivery for years, their menu is great and the food is always spot on. Today, a group of us sat in and ate there (my first time) and WOW it was amazing. They had great draught beer (which you can get in a 5 litre fountain apparently!), a nice selection of wine and cocktails, alcohol free options and a huge selection of soft drinks. In our group, we had two vegans, a vegetarian, a gluten-free guest, and three meat lovers and we were all blown away by our meals. They have a huge vegan menu, and also gluten free bases. The service was faultless, we were a big group with complicated dietary needs, which were all catered for with care. Our waitress was lovely, and food arrived promptly. Apparently they use a slightly different method to cook the pizzas for takeaway and in the restaurant - I think due to how it travels - both are incredible, but the pizzas we had tonight were seriously indescribable, so authentic and clearly made with top quality ingredients. I don't live very close so I'd never thought to visit, but after tonight's meal I will be making the effort to return regularly, and let everyone I know about it too!

Just wanted to go for a walk in brighton, and saw this lovely, charming restaurant on the way. I decided to have an early dinner, so had their bolognese which was really good. Their pizzas looked phenomenal and will try one next time I'm nearby. The music played in the background and the friendly staff make this place a great find with normal, unexaggerated prices. One has to try this place when near to western road, nearby to the seaside. Next time want to try the dessert there, sounded exceptional.

Great vegan pizza,, best in Brighton!

We came here last week for a birthday treat. We were seated quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pizzas were excellent. I had vegan and it was just perfect. Staff were amazing, and gave us a box as we couldn't finish. When we came to pay however and asked about the service charge to hear it was not given to the staff, which is outrageous, and I dont think even legal. So we asked them to take it off and we tipped in cash instead. The pizzas were great but this is a black mark. Please dont cheat your wonderful staff.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! I am currently staying in Brighton for a study trip and my friends and me were hungry for dinner and we decided to order a pizza. At 21:25 we called this pizzeria and we ordered 3 margherite and they took our name and number and told us they would have taken about 30 minutes, after almost 2 hours nothing arrived and when we tried to call them the pizzeria had closed. By that time it was to late to call anyone else and we had to eat some candies from a vending machine. If they told us they couldn’t deliver our pizzas they could have told us so we could call someone else but no, they had to make us this “surprise” and erase any possibility for us to have dinner. Thank you so much, guys!

I reviewed this place a year ago and gave 5 stars. Sadly my recent visit was very disappointing. The management has changed hands and it’s definitely gone down hill. Whilst the base of the pizza is good, the toppings were not. I ordered the pepperoni hot. It was neither spicy (despite the garnishing of fresh green chilli) nor was it hot in terms of temp. There was too much sauce and not enough N’Djua or pepperoni. It sat for a full five mins after coming out of the oven being dressed with chilli and marscapone and the 2nd one was cooking. The reason I go to a pizzeria is to enjoy the pizza as soon as it’s out of the oven, not when it cools. It also should have had hot honey added. We found none. Finally one pizza was round. The other was oval! If you seek good pizza. Pizza Pilgrims in central Brighton is the current tops.

I've never written a review before but I had to. Pizza was a work of art, so crispy and fresh. Staff were amazing and made a fuss of our dog, we sat outside the freemasons pub and they delivered the pizza to us. Beautiful!

My pizza was bad. I was the only customer and waited a while. The pizza was heavy and tasteless. I see from reviews the place is great. Maybe I went in at a bad time but £18 for a bad pizza stung a bit.

Ernsthaft, dass ist das beste italienische Restaurant außerhalb von Italien. Es gibt Arosticini... die habe ich ausser in den Abruzzen nirgendwo erhalten. Die Holzofen Pizza ist perfekt, luftiger Rand und nicht trocken gebacken. Die Tomaten Soße bei der Margaritha schmeckt wirklich nach Tomaten und der Mozzarella ist in perfekter Mege drauf. If I could leave negative stars I would. They blamed uber eats for collecting our order late but it was not uber eats fault that they burnt one pizza and got one of the orders completely wrong. They ruined my husbands birthday. My children were left starving with no dinner. Avoid at all costs.

Awful delivery via Deliveroo this evening. The 20” pizza had not been held flat so slid down one side of the box and was inedible. Disappointing. No working phone number so call them to discuss either. Avoid.

Where do I start the customer service was phenomenal they kept checking up on us and making sure that we enjoyed the best pizza we went as a group of 6 people and pizza was excellent compared to the pizzas in Brighton if you’re looking for the best pizza in town or going as a couple, party, or solo this place has what you’re looking for. I’d strongly recommend this place to anyone that are looking for best pizza in town everything is all fresh and it’s open to everyone such gluten free, vegans and vegetarians.

I was looking for a nice pizza with a couple of friends when I tried Morelli Zorelli and I found more than that: pizza is proper Italian made with variety of choices and starters and mains which was hard to deal with as all looked very appetising. You can see how the food is carefully prepared by the look of it. The staff is great, professionally friendly, always making sure the best service is delivered to the table in regards of food and drinks. The location is very central and the venue makes you feel very welcomed like you have been there already, some place familiar mostly thank to the staff being very kind and proactive towards customers requests which easily make this restaurant one of the best in the city of Brighton&Hove for exquisite Italian cuisine.

Ordered a 12" pizza and two ice creams for delivery. The order arrived around 15 minutes early, but somehow the pizza was completely cold and the ice creams were partly melted. Also one of the ice creams was not the flavour ordered. The pizzas are extremely thin and of poor quality, too. Don't be fooled by the 'artisan' marketing.

Me and my best friend went here last night... Oh my goodness it's the best pizza I've had in a while... I had the truffle pizza and she had the Margherita, the bases where just the right thickeness, the crusts were fluffy and the truffle combo was absolutely mind-blowing! Ale was so welcoming, kind, generous and so so lovely... Honestly they make you feel completely at home! Never going to anywhere else for pizza in Brighton... Best pizza EVER! Thank u guys xxxxxxxx

Best pizza we've ever eaten and we've been to Italy several times. This beats all, I never write reviews but felt compelled to write this and say WOW, delicious doesn't do it justice.

Came to Brighton to swim in the sea and what a day to do it! The train from London was rammed with 'Pride' parade party-goers, but hey ho, it was a scorcher of a day and we needed some sea. Afterwards we came here for pizza and boy was it good. The tomato sauce was the star of the show, but the base was great and also a real bottle of Peroni. Nice vibe and seats overlooking the street watching all the interesting folk walk by.

This must be the best pizza restaurant we have been too in a long time , very traditional lovely staff very friendly and helpful but the best part is the food it was simply amazing definitely recommend highly you must try this place .

Great staff, nice and cold draft beer. Not a fan of this type of pizza. The big sourdough sloppy pizza is not for my taste; but they cooked everything very well and obviously some people love this style of pizza, so it’s just my preference. Lovely vibe in the restaurant
