The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

Last minute booking that didn’t disappoint. Lovely atmosphere, super friendly staff and delicious faultless food. Nothing more to say except thank you.

The restaurant was virtually empty after a matinee at the Mayflower. The greeting was indifferent. The food was mediocre. We ordered olives but they didn't arrive! We ordered a dessert and asked for 2 spoons but 2 desserts were brought out. The restaurant was sadly lacking in atmosphere and there was none of the usual Italian ambience we expect. We were seated adjacent to a window where seals were hanging off and the area needed a good clean. A very disappointing experience.

There was a wait time of at least 1hr for two people on a Friday night. The space is pretty cramped. The host was very welcoming. The ambience was decent. Had chill vibes. The drinks were very average. Also the serve time was way too much for a single drink. Didn't eat anything as I had dinner elsewhere. I will not be visiting this place again but I recommend visiting this place just to explore it and get it off the list.

Took my mum here for mother's day. It was really well priced for what you got. Don't usually say this, but I would have paid more for the food. Service was very good as well and the staff were lovely

Amazing. The food is always so great and tasty for all ages. The music is perfect volume and choices. The staff are so kind, funny and nice.

Insanely good pizza. The last two times I've visited Brighton, I've had their pizza slices for breakfast. The pizza sauce is gorgeous and their sweet treats are brilliant too. Next time i'm in town this will be my first stop! 🍕❤️

Delicious lunch and pleasant service. It was a quiet day so we didn’t have to wait long but it’s a smallish restaurant so I’d assume that service is generally good.

Encontré este café cerca del teatro real. Elegimos la mortadela que estaba muy sosa solo sabía a picadura cocida sin sabor.

Friendly atmosphere and a great service, not overly busy on a Saturday afternoon. Good selection of draught beers and a fairly extensive menu.

My mum and I have visited twice now and were served by Bart both times. His customer service is outstanding. I have severe allergies, and he’s always incredibly thorough—double-checking the menu to make sure everything is safe for me. The food is always fast, hot, and delicious. Highly recommend!

Amazing pizza. Plenty of toppings and cheese, hot and well cooked, not greasy at all. Great garlic dip too
