ASK Italian has always been one of our favourite places to eat and it still hasn’t disappointed. We visited yesterday for our 9yr anniversary and can safely say it was just as good as when we used to go when we were just going out on dates at the very beginning. Food was delicious and staff super friendly. Can’t wait to come back for more. 100% recommend

The food was full on bussin (specifically the Pepperioni za) and my server Mona (absolute legend by the way) was so kind! 11/10 would recommend to any sigma.

We had a lovely time in ask italian, the staff are friendly, they came and asked how we are, if we needed anything. Diana took the time to chat with us and we like to think we made a friend. The food was delicious, quickly made with high quality ingredients.

We had a lovely experience at Ask Italian for my birthday! They brought out complimentary Prosecco to celebrate which was very kind of them!

A brilliant meal for a birthday! The food was fresh and tasted amazing! Service was top tier from Bart and it was made extra special by a glass of Prosecco on the house for my partner! 5* will be back

We love the food and staff, that's why we've been coming here nearly every week for several years now., the only thing is that the chicken lasagne is no longer on the menu which was my favourite dish, but that's not the fault of the staff, they're great

I was very surprised to see the high ratings. I think the problem might be with me. We were not satisfied with the staff who attended to us. I don’t want to go into details. This is not a big issue because I also have bad days sometimes. These dishes can be eaten in a place that is not an Italian restaurant. As seen in the picture, my pizza came on a plastic plate. I noticed it from the damage on the corner. If I’m wrong, please explain, and I would like to correct my review. I don’t like writing negative reviews, but sometimes I can’t hold back.

We had Mona, who looked after us on the day. She was very good, helped us with some vouchers we had, helped us pick the right food and drink for taste... We loved the welcome drink, but the food for kids could use an upgrade in terms of value for money for kids menu, definitely was not worth it at all. Sea bass and Mushroom paperdale were good but not fabulous, had ravioli previously which was excellent but been taken off the menu now. Desert menu was great too..

We loved the place, it is great for a calm dinner, very relaxing and beautiful place, the food was okay but we are definitely coming back cause Mona, our waitress, was very friendly and helpful, she answered all our questions and she saw that we did some shopping out and we didn’t have any spare bags and offer us some!. Very nice of her!

Bart really looked after us, the team could cater for my gluten free requirements and swapped out for vegan cheese. Delicious pizza and my mum had a great prawn pasta. You get what you expect, would recommend.

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Ask Italian. Despite the restaurant being completely empty, we were denied entry by the manager, who claimed there were no staff available to serve us. Oddly enough, there were at least five servers in the restaurant What kind of establishment turns away paying customers, especially when the restaurant has more than enough capacity and staff on hand? This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s operational inefficiency at its worst. I’m genuinely confused as to how a restaurant that denies business expects to make a profit. If this is how they run things, I can’t imagine them lasting long. Highly disappointing

I got a delivery from Deliveroo, oh my goodness the food was great ! The fettuccine bolognaise was piping hot and so rich ! And the lemon tart for dessert I will be dreaming about ! The chefs left a very cute snoopy drawing and note on my order receipt which made my night ! I will definitely order again! I wish I could tip the chefs though :( thankyou for the great food ! 🩵

Mona was the greatest server I’ve had in a chain restaurant in long time. Very attentive, anything we need she brought us promptly. Good with our child also, being very friendly and talkative which always helps when settling the child. Also helped us out with the menu

Typical Italian High Street restaurant, food pretty average,ok Anti Pasti, a seafood tagliatelle which had poor ingredients, tiny mussels missing the meat, tiny clams and prawns in their shells not good in a sauce rich tagliatelle, not the best of everything that a good Italian would strive for. The dishes were bland, in need of some heavy seasonings relative to the dish. My wife is a vegetarian and had the lentil Dahl which she said was OK but again lacking enough seasoning. The best of the meal was the salted caramel gelato which was heaven in a bowl. Two adults,two under 10 year old kids, Staff were attentive and very polite. £90.00 Not a good deal really.

Restaurant was quite busy, but had no problem getting a table. Nice welcome and drinks arrived quickly. Food arrived hot and tasty, did not scrimp on the cheese, (double tick). Desserts were nice size. Ambiance was good, not too loud to allow talking.
