The best restaurants serving Italian food in South East

Very nice restaurant but not Italian as Google says. Fancy kebabs and pitas. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the staff were very attentive. I will be back. Car park just around the corner..

A Wonderful Italian Dining Experience! We had an amazing time at this Italian restaurant! The staff was incredibly warm, friendly, and polite, making us feel truly welcome. We tried their pizza and pasta, both of which were delicious and full of authentic flavors. However, the highlight of our meal was the Panna Cotta—it was simply outstanding! If you visit, you absolutely must try it. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with great food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love this little gem of a restaurant the staff are excellent and the head chef I think his name was Livio what a lovely man proper Italian with fire and love in his belly for his authentic Italian food . The manager was great too and the staff are a credit to him . This was the second time we’ve been and it was amazing the first and didn’t disappoint on the 2nd visit . One word ‘stunning ‘ I couldn’t big it up enough . Will definitely be going back very soon . It’s the closest to authentic Italian food you’ll get in the south if not the country. Great stuff guys of Albero keep up the good work and keep rolling out the great food . Can’t wait to go again . Mike and Kay x

Excellent good, quality and service

We happened upon this family-run Italian restaurant by accident and were very glad that we had! Super food, excellent Italian wine in gorgeous glasses, entertaining maǐtre d’, lovely atmosphere. A really good find. Several notches up from one of the Italian High street chains. Susanna and Ben

The atmosphere was very inviting, the service was very friendly and the food was excellent! The carbonara was exquisite and the calamari light and crispy, highly recommend it.

Having visited this restaurant on many occasions I can safely say it is amazing. Myself and my partner dined in this restaurant last night, we turned up without a booking on a Friday night just on the off chance and they managed to fit us in despite being very busy as it was a Friday night. The service was friendly as always and the food arrived quickly. A delicious meal and very reasonable prices and we didn’t feel at all rushed even tho we knew we had been squeezed in. Lovely food, lovely people and a lovely atmosphere.

Lovely prawn starters. Polpette dish great, as was sea bass and pollo tagliatelle. Our daughter loved Margherita pizza. Tiramisu lovely too. Thanks for looking after us.

Great food. Service could've been better.

We were charged the wrong bill, and instead of resolving it smoothly, they charged us again without acknowledging that the refund for the incorrect charge would take 3 days. No apology, no gesture of goodwill, nothing complimentary offered for the inconvenience. The food was good, but the whole experience left a sour taste and honestly ruined our weekend. A real shame, as we had high hopes.

I really enjoyed my mussels and pasta! A bit of feedback would be to serve the mozzarella with better tomatoes - even in winter in the U.K. one can get ones with some flavour ☺️

Very friendly staff and kind owner (helped me when I lost my glasses). Welcoming to me and mum. Good food and got a free drink when I helped an older lady they knew which was kind and appreciated!

Thought I'd leave a review as I'd like to express my gratitude for the kindness of the staff. They were exceptionally accommodating for the children in my family group. We had an incident and the staff were nothing but understanding and kind. The food was also great. Highly recommend
