Fan Fan Pizza in Chiltern

What a disappointment this was, we were really looking forward to our meal if the reviews are anything to go by, I am afraid we found this restaurant to be overpriced and not good, the pizza was more bread than topping, soggy, cold with not much topping for £14 I really had expected more, the starters were bought up at the same time as the main meal, not how I ordered it... we had the Burrata Parma (£12) unseasoned mozzarella so... tasteless, 4 pieces of ham and when it states a sun dried tomato that's what you get, one sun fried tomato and the rocket salad at £9 I expected more than a bowl of rocket and 2 baby tomatoes cut in half ! We had to go to the bar to order drinks as no one seemed inclined to serve us at the table. All in all I am afraid that I would never recommend this restaurant and will certainly not be returning.

Been before and got poor service so was not expecting much. Even so was surprised how bad it has become. A table of eight, pre booked, was ignored for 15 minutes after we arrived. Once we placed our order we waited a further 45 minutes to get our pizzas. Take away orders were dealt with quickly, at our expense. When it came to paying we were charged for multiples of items we had ordered. The value would have been good if we had only paid for what we had but there was no excuse for charging four times for one item! If you haven’t got the staff or skill to run a restaurant, stick with what you are good at.

Had a great evening at Fanfan. Perfect pizza, friendly staff, good buzzy atmosphere. And very good value. 100% recommended

Excellent pizzeria in Great Missenden, great pizza and garlic breads, we have been here many times but only just reviewing now. Pizzas are very good, lovely flat crust, loads of toppings, and the garlic bread with cheese is great. Also recommend the burrata with tomato starter, deliciously simple and tasty. Could be better at beers, the draught beers aren't much cop, probably better to get some bottles in, or take cans and craft beer advice from nearby Wild Kite. The local Black Lab Cider is very good however.

I really enjoyed our pizza, the beer was great and service fantastic. What a fantastic little spot. Very reasonable too.

Faultless. OK I have a 100 character limit... so I'll just say the same thing more verbosely. Gorgeous, delicious, wonderful pizza served by lovely people in a great place with fantastic drinks and other stuff. If you're able to go there do. Unless you're one of those weird people that doesn't like pizza.

Such a treat on our way home one evening. We decided to stop by for a bite to eat. Such a warm welcome and relaxing atmosphere. We were quickly seated, the wine and olives quickly followed. My father is Italian so I’ve eaten one or two pizzas in my time. We were all delighted with our meal. The pizzas are delicious! Wanted more ever since. Booking to go back this Friday night for more. Pre-ordered 3 Pizza's as a takeaway, for the first time. The quality of the pizza was superb. Fresh dough, perfectly cooked with quality ingredients. What a breath of fresh air over the quality that is available from the usual national chains. The staff are friendly and helpful. My wife is Gluten and dairy intolerant. Fan fan are able to prepare a Gluten free base, with vegan cheese in order to allow her to enjoy a 'proper' pizza not available easily locally. So..well done Fan Fan we will be back on a regular basis!

Went with my family for pizza. Was excellent. We all had Margheritas because classic is always best. The base was perfect Neapolitan, soft and doughy. Good service, delicious food. What else is there. They do takeaway or dine in.

We came here for a family birthday, and so glad we did! The pizzas are much more of an Italian style and topping as opposed to American style (which is nice); and the clay oven makes them so unique and delicious. We possibly would have skipped the garlic pizzas as an entree and just gone straight for the main pizzas because they are such a good size! Staff were good, atmosphere good and pizzas were just delicious! A must return!

We love Fan Fan anyway, and we’re lucky enough to live nearby and eat here regularly. We went a few weeks ago with friends and family for my son’s 18th birthday and the evening was made really special by the staff. A fabulous restaurant with the best pizzas and staff! ❤️

Really the best pizza, with interesting flavour combinations and terrific service. Great choice for those wanting/needing GF or dairy free options and family friendly.

One of the best clay oven pizzas in the uk and a must visit if you are in the area. Short summary Atmosphere - open, spacious but welcoming Staff and management - friendly and super helpful Kid friendly - no kids menu but the food is made of sharing and the kids love it Menu and range selection - small selection but all made really good and you will be wanting more once you have a pizza Recommend to friends and family - yes Cleanliness - yes Note - get a few pizzas to share and they are more that happy to cater for all your needs just ask and they will try and help.

Amazing pizzas - Truffle Shuffle and Bees Knees, and lovely glass of red whilst partner had a beer. £40 for mid-week treat. Restaurant quite busy and very busy with takeaways. First time visit but we will return. I would imagine you would have to book at wknds to eat in due to it's popularity. Really pleased to have found this place and, have already recommended to friends.

Great Food, much better than any pizza you would find nearby, feels authentic and it is reasonably priced. Takeaway is also available, which is great if you would prefer to stay at home. Staff are great also, just what this town needed.
