Lovely food great service and lovely staff

Visited for Sunday lunch. The resturant was very quiet, more staff than customers which wasn't the best first impression. The place was very clean and I can imagine as a bar it gets very busy. Beef dinner was basic but nice. The Yorkshire pudding was a total disaster. 2 people at the table had finished and the server took their plates away whilst others were still eating. A positive was the bill which was £46 for 3 adult meals, 1 child and drinks. Worth a visit for the price if you're stuck for somewhere to go but pray the chef has worked on their Yorkshire making skills

Negative first: No warm welcome. Toilets dirty but seemed like it was from that service and not generally dirty, probably need checking through out the day. Drinks orders took around 10m to be taken and another 10 to arrive. Starter arrived after 45mins. Dinner arrived quickly after finishing starter. Mistake made when giving dinners to wrong tables so 2 guests had to wait around 5 mins after first 2.. Positives: Starter choices for Sunday lunch set meal was very good. Meze starter, really tasty & good size. Lunch was very good, meat spot on. Veg wasn't you usual boring boiled veg. Roasted leeks, mange tout etc. gravy really tasty. 4 guests, 3x 2 courses, 1x 3course. Extra side of cauliflower cheese. 4 pints lager, 3 pints coke £87 everything. Food spot on, service poor. Would we go back, yes but would be prepared to wait.

Waited 1 and a half hours for a seafood pizza when it arrived it was stone cold, unless you order then go and pick it up I wouldn't advise to have it delivered

Had a meal early one Saturday evening a few weeks ago in the Durham City restaurant, although quiet inside (only with it being early tea time), we had a lovely meal. I couldn't recommend Molly enough, she was attentive, kind and incredibly welcoming. Wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Definitely recommend getting the arancini trio starter and a special thanks to Molly for being our server for the time spent there. You're a great asset to Ask Durham!

Cannot believe people are complaining about this place , we and lots of people we know go on a regular basis . The wine is extremely well priced compared to other places in the area . The house ones being very good much better than the usual crap house wine you can get . The staff though often run off their feet are always as helpful as possible even in busy times , the food is always good and plenty of it , do not listen to the negative views and try for yourself you won’t regret it I’m sure .

Visité este restaurante como una familia de 8 por el cumpleaños de mi hijo. Estábamos sentados enseguida a la llegada. El ambiente era muy relajante y acogedor. El personal era muy acogedor y no podía hacer lo suficiente para usted. La comida era fantástica y sin duda volvería a visitar este restaurante. Chicos bien hechos siguen el buen trabajo

Great value delicious food and friendly service.

Went to martinos seaburn with my family and the owners we obviously in walking around dressed like scruffs and pulling the staff aside every 2 minutes! Staff were doing a great job but the owners made us and other feel uncomfortable the way they were going on. Put us right off and will never be back. Food was spot on just owners thinking they are big time dressed like drug dealers

Very happy about lunch today. We tried king prawns in tomato and chilli sauce, followed by honey chicken special and chicken cordon bleu. Squeezed in a shared portion of tiramisu. Delighted today. Lovely staff too.

Managed to get a reservation the same day, friendly welcome and seated at a lovely table for 3, atmosphere was very nice and the house white wine was fabulous. We ordered the chicken parmo, lamb kebab and pepperoni pizza all of which was absolutely delicious. 10/10 and would definitely recommend. Portion sizes were large and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend and we will be back very soon.

Thank you italian farmhouse managers and staff. What an outstanding service I have had. I hired italian farmhouse for my daughters birthday and from start to finish the service I received was amazing. I was unsure of what I wanted and kept swapping and changing my mind not once was I made to feel this was an issue,I just in the end decided I wanted something basic and simple like sausage rolls, wedges, sandwiches. I got this with the fun element for kids making their own pizza! They loved it and went down a treat! I have a niece who I didnt inform had a nut allergy ( my bad ) they were prepared to clean all surfaces allow us to check ingredients and make something for her but understandably said whilst they would do their best they couldn't guarantee so we declined and they allowed us to order in a pizza, this obviously is someones business but I feel to do this they want more than just money they want to give and make customers feel valued and welcome I was so impressed. Staff constantly checked everything was ok, constantly asked if anything else was needed they were prompt in bringing out food and keeping the area clean and tidy, nothing at all seemed to be a bother to them. I also had a courtesy call making sure all had went ok as I'd changed my mind that many times. Thank you so much italian farmhouse for an amazing memory for my little girl. We will most definitely be becoming regulars!

The pizzas have not had much flavour to them, and the prices are just getting ridiculous to be honest. £45 for 2 people to have 2 courses and 1 drink each when the mains are half price is mad.

Booked for dinner with the kids. Had mussels special and cheesy garlic bread to start - excellent quality and so tasty. Kids had Napoli pasta and pizza - fresh and huge portions. Mains were a fillet steak cooked to perfection and a lasagna - also very good. The girl serving was very friendly and great with the kids. Highly recommend!

I honestly dont know why this place is quiet, eight pound for 2 course meal is great value for money, always leave totally stuffed. Biere morrati on tap and really clean. Staff so friendly and attentive.
