Hot Bitez in South Tyneside

I bought chips and kebab meat with 3 garlic sauces Only one came so missing 2. Its first timevits happened lost out on £1.60

Still cash only at the counter in 2024. HMRC / Home Office dodge? Usually have to wait about 10 mins before getting served as they don’t notice you or ignore you when you walk in.

Once again we have received excellent service from this takeaway. I had rang my order through for quickness with it being a weekend and was greeted on the phone by a cheery staff member. I was given an estimated time for collection and the order was ready at the given collection time. Excellent price, great pizza and the chips were lush.

Ordered pizzas for the family. Very quick delivery, very hot on arrival and very tasty. Totally recommend this shop.

I go to hot bitez pretty much every other week and never get a bad meal, the pricing of the meal is good and the service is absolutely brilliant. And they are always on time with the food

Placed online order at 18.22 chicken kebab - first delivery slot 18.49 - called 19.00 to be informed delivery would be 15 minutes - 19.17 called again got told delivery would not be long on its way - 19.30 called again to ask for refund not possible as I had paid by card was told yet again delivery would be 15 minutes as driver had left. Obviously not the case at 19.49 still no food arrived. Customer service appalling will not be ordering from here again!

Great friendly service. Clean shop. Good choice of menu. Staff smiley and happy. They also help with questions. They do delivery and you can ring up and collect. Fast service at a good price they also have some special meals deals too as well as collection only offers!

Rang to ask if they were fresh chips prior to ordering and they were frozen and tasted like they had just came out of the freezer! food was cold and had to be heated up, no salad wth kebab, when I rang, told they wud get it to me straight away-twenty mins later I told them not to bother.pizza was just cheese on thick toast-must be a shortage on sauce..when I rang to tell them it was a crock of sh!t, weren't that bothered. Never ordering again and wish I could give it minus stars!!

Came an hour early looked a state, replacement 45 mins late after i had to ring again, this is unusual usually spot on!

Food took 1hr 15 to arrive and was cold

waited just under 2 hours for the food to arrive, came freezing cold and garlic bread tastes like fish. Usually love here but today was a let down!

Order was wrong, I asked for two bottles of Diet Coke and received normal Coke and I also asked for a double chicken burger with no mayo on and salad on it I got no salad and loads of mayonnaise on it, afraid to say I wasn't pleased with my order.

Order from here all of the time food is normally nice but tonight was horrible best thing about it was the chips wont be ordering again

Everything was luke warm and my chilli sauce was missing, apart from that it was fine.

Probably the best donner kebab I've ever had. Loads of good quality, fresh salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, cabbage, red cabbage and jalapeños!). Very generous portion of meat with it. Great pizza too. Highly recommend the Inferno. Phew!!!

Waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for it to come the garlic bread was stone cold, I had to heat it!!! Kebab meat was like chewing rubber, the chips were soggy & cold, ate 2 bits of the heated up garlic bread 1 bit of kebab meat & I didn't even attempt to taste the chips over all it was disgusting!

Absolutely disgusting delivery, took 2 and a half hours and had to call 3 times getting told it was on its way numberous times when they had clearly forgot the order I would never order from here again nor would I recommend it to anyone either.

Was half an hour early and lovely just the right temp to eat it will always come back :-) xx

Won't be ordering from this takeaway again!!! Ordered a tikka wrap and spicy chicken wrap and was given the option of either chips or salad which we chose chips and would assume the chips would be separate but no they were wrapped in the wrap with the chicken!!!! Also asked for garlic sauce on one and sweet chilli on the other and nothing was put on!! We also ordered a kids burger meal for my daughter and she couldn't eat it as it was to spicy which for a kids meal really shouldn't have been at all.....terrible

If I could leave zero stars I would. This food was the worst I have ever received from any takeaway. The food was stone cold, delivery was 1hr20mins and the garlic bread tasted funny, like a very earthy taste. Word of advice, chips should b hot and not taste like oil, and a cheese salad wrap can and should b heated, if I wanted a sandwich for my dinner I would have made it myself.

Had a half and half pizza it was absolutely gorgeous very tasty and speedy pleasant delivery driver

Food was luke warm, not hot, took an hour to be delivered on a Thursday night. Will not be ordering from here again. It's a shame, used to be great before it was closed for a few weeks for refurbishment.

Ordered 10+ times this year, first 8 times i would give maximum stars. However since i have changed address, which is only a further 5 minutes away, delivery time significantly longer and food has turned up luke warm and starting to dry out. Not up to usual high standards at all. Could potentially lose mine and my friends custom if we get another bad order, and on average we order 3+ times a week.

This is the second time I have received FREEZING cold food from hot bites, they should be called cold bites not happy at all also the Bolognese pizza tastes like mince and dumplings!!!!! Disgusted

Cold food. Order over 1 hour late and when I called to ask about it I got told it is on its way. 30 minutes later my food arrived.

Always order from here . Best take away in shields as far as I'm concerned . Meal deals are great for the price food always tastes great always hot and delivered on time if not early . Driver always polite :) chicken kebab wrap is the best .

They missed the extra toppings off pizza which I had already paid for, which is a mistake anyone can make. However, the pizza base tasted and smelled like oven cleaner so it could not be eaten.

Delivered 30 mins late portion of chips and salad missing. Having said that the chicken was nice. The pizza was lovely too.

Used these guys for some time now and always spot on, last night pizza wasn't as hot as if like and when the chips are placed in the white tray they become soggy when you remove, maybes just bag them up?

Everything was lovely and fresh really enjoyed the meal. Only one thing i paid for 5 cartons of garlic sauce and only recieved 4 cartons, apart from that very nice.

Only complaint this time is asked for extra green chillies on one pizza but didn't get them. Other than that the food is lush!!

Only complaint is that I ordered pizza without the tomato pizza base yet I got tomato. Normally they get the order right but guess the special instructions weren't read.

Customer service here is always excellent. I'm always awkward with my meal order but it turns up correct every time. The pizzas are lovely and the chilli burgers too. Always arrive fresh and hot. Only gave 4* for delivery as it took a few minutes longer than predicted.

Food took 80 plus mins early on a wed night, when it arrived it was cold and rock hard. Ordered a few times first time it's been a total waste of money/time.
