Waited 1 and a half hours for a seafood pizza when it arrived it was stone cold, unless you order then go and pick it up I wouldn't advise to have it delivered

Avoid avoid avoid !! Pizzas were average at best but the service was awful. Completely disorganised and very very rude !

Do not use this pizza shop. Been using this shop on a weekly basis for years however recently the portion sizes have gone ridiculously small for how much they charge. I complained and got a mouthful of abuse of a male member of staff. He told me not to come back in an aggressive and rude manor. Not how you expect to be spoken to after spending 30 pound on a takeaway every week. Needless we won't be back!

Ordered chicken shawarma and chips for collection! Collected order, I got home 1 min later and chips where cold. Phoned and the lady on the phone said well all I can do is ask you to bring them back to check and change them but doesn't understand why they are cold as they where cooked fresh. These chips where reheated in the box as it was slightly melted! Then I said will I get a new kebab as that will be cold if I come to show you the chips and she said no because its just chips what do you expect! Disgusting customer service and disgusting chips!

Utter cak. We've been a customer here for years, quality has crashed over the last 2-3 months, possible change of owners, I don't know? I do know it's dire compared to the past, today's chicken kebab had a quarter of the udual kebab meat.. The last 5 orders we haven't received free the pizza per there offer too, rang today and were told we should ring and check after ordering ( ordering via their own website!) to make sure our order was received ok... No, were ok cheers. Ive left multiple good reviews previously, but its goodbye now. Very poor now unfortunately.

Have been going to this place for years and during lockdown the takeaways we had received got worse but I gave it the benefit of a doubt, couple weeks ago I ordered online the money was taken out of my bank, but I had no order confirmation so I rang to make sure that the food order come through and they said it didn’t and refused to give us our food or refund because I had “no proof of order” so after 40 minutes of trying to explain on the phone, I walk down there as a 15-year-old girl on my own in the dark , I showed proof of my bank showed proof of my order and they still refused ( bearing in mind this was tea for my Nana and grandads I look after them)but I still went back because it was the only place in reach last night i ordered meal deal one for me and my friends which was a 10 inch pizza, chips, salad, kebab ,chilli sauce ,garlic sauce and two cans of pop around the kebab was so greasy I actually vomited the chips were reheated , soggy and dirty with hairs grey or blonde on them. The pizza was rock solid and in the salad with so dry will not be ordering from here again.The smell was unbearable and I’m not trying to be rude I have had some lovely takeaways from here but after last night I am speechless.

I was working in the lab late one night when my eyes beheld an eerie sight. For my monster from his slab began to rise, and suddenly to my surprise. He did the mash, he did the monster mash. The monster mash, it was a graveyard smash. I enjoyed my kebab

We were staying at an air b&b and found a leaflet for this place. What a pleasant surprise. Order on line and get a discount. Food delivered quickly. It was hot and tasty. Exceeded expectations. Great vfm compared to what you would get in Glasgow.

Ordered while staying at a caravan in Sandy Bay. Pizzas, cheesy chips and nachos plus some sauce tubs ordered for collection. Price amazing. Food even better. Would highly recommend!!!

Ordered pizza and chips pizza couldn’t fault pizza Absoultly beautiful but chips did not arrive driver couldn’t be more helpful saying he sort it however received a phone call from shop stating I hadn’t ordered chips in a abrupt manor when I clearly did and when I informed her I had she slammed phone down I will not go back due to rude customer service

I hope you check all your delivery drivers Mr,Takeaway man.... I paid twice for an order,once with paypal through Ubereats,and also the delivery driver. I didnt realise till too late that the money was deducted through an Ubereats order. The delivery driver didnt say a word when she took £21.10 from me. The obstinate takeaway owner kept shouting see Ubereats on the phone,but he has been paid twice by me. So thats £42.20 ive paid for a takeaway and shows the type of person you are dealing with. Be very careful with this guy folks,hes not very nice.

had pizza and it tasted like wet cardboard covered in grass and the cheesy chips tasted of lithium chloride. i went to complain and they called me a rude word and said i eat disposable barbeques. which is true but he didnt have to say it. not coolio

Appalling Service from owner of Flame Newbiggin. Ordered food and charged for order. After 2 hours food hadn’t arrived. Contacted and owner blamed The Foodhouse his website company and refused to contact them himself suggesting I call. A second call made back to Flame and owner believed he was speaking to his website company and began to accuse customer of trying to get free food. Unknown to owner he was speaking to customer. Flame Refused to do anything about this order. Wouldn’t buy from this place again. Poor customer service.

I’ve been here 3 times and prefer it as my second favourite take away are I recommend here to anyone that could go. Not a bas place at all. just minor bad smells.

Pizzas were substandard. Cheap black olive slices, feta cheese asked for but got greasy mozzarella, only 4 slices of pepperoni on 12". Chips were limp and odd brown colour. Must be cheap frozen ones. Ate only 1/4 of my 10" pizza. Decided it wasn't worth the calories.

One of my colleague recommended to try pizza and its wonderful. Ordered the hot and spicy pizza with Jalapeño crest. Wonderful cheesy and delicious pizza. Now its been three times in three weeks enjoying different types of spicey pizza.

Late order, lied it was on its way. Refused to give a refund, it was over an hour late, 2 hours after I ordered!! Disgusting!

While staying at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea we decided that we would have a takeaway pizza. We choose Flame Pizza Express on Front Street It does deliver for £1.00 It is open seven days a week The pizza were amazing they were the best pizzas we have ever had lovely soft base and lots of toppings Try them and enjoy

Disgusting, the staff do not wear any gloves when handling the food. Their hands were in a bucket of grated cheese, braking it all apart, and then the same hand was wiping of the sweat from their brow into their hair, and then back into the cheese!! This is not hygienic, this is disgusting. I had to bin my food for fear of a stray hair 🤮 Most of the staff were rude, except the new girl who was pleasent enough. Overall, this place is nasty and dirty. Avoid Flame at all cost!!!!!

We walked along to the shop & ordered a Bolognese pizza & a portion of kebab meat with chips & sauce - under £10! Front of House guy was very friendly! Have been here before & will defo be coming again!

Terrible service we live locally and we have ordered numerous times before and was nice until we ordered only last week and they gave us the complete wrong order we then tried to contact them numerous times and was so busy all the time we were happy to keep the wrong order.Then tried to order a new takeaway today to get told I was lying and that the takeaway was not open and said that we try and get discount every week which i was a shock and then gave me attitude on the phone poor customer service I've never felt humiliated and talked down to as a customer I'd never go back as i work in a customer service enviroment and i would never go back their chips are vile anyways may haswell put some chips in the oven would taste alot better.

Have bought from here due to working in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, and have to say the 2 times we have ordered.. the food has been amazing. On time, still hot and very tasty.. thank you so much, will definitely buy from here again

We are staying at Sandy Bay caravan park & were recommended this by a lad that delivered for Flame. He said it was lush and boy he wasn't wrong! We got a 11.50 meal deal - pizza, chips, dip, 2 cans of pop. What a treat! The food was fresh and piping hot! We even got a call back to ensure we had our delivery ok & made sure we were happy! If I could give them more stars I would! Definately be back next time I'm at Sandy Bay! Thank You!!!

Their pitta breads are freshly made, just such a great taste all round. House Special Kebab with salad, 2 pitta-breads and dip, so Mega.

Was too early, wasn't ready for it. Requested a free margarita and they sent garlic bread, this has happened twice. Why have the option if they're going to send a garlic bread every time? Ordered a fanta and diet coke, they sent full fat coke. Not happy.

Whole meal was spot on apart from the garlic and chilli sauce. Garlic sauce just wasn't garlicky enough, the chilli sauce was like water too.

I decided to buy a meal deal for £12.50, 2 10" pizzas, 1 garlic bread, 2lt bottle of drink and two bags of chips. A little bit of a wait for delivery. On line ordering didn't work so I phoned up.

The chicken wrap is the nicest chicken I've ever tasted kebab was spot on to i couldn't find 1 fault with the food. Delivery was spot on u have tried the rest now try the best u will not be disappointed will 1000% order again ******

It was great really nice food the bbq chicken kebab was lovely and the meat was really tender and not at all dry. My hubby had the donner wrap and really enjoyed good value for money too.

When our pizza arrived all the toppings had come off and all the cheese was dripping out the box. It was like the pizza had been upside down during delivery. Couldn't eat it.

Absolutely beautiful food. I have never been disappointed whilst using this establishment but lately everything is just simply amazing. Food was delivered very quickly by a very friendly driver. But long enough to know my food was cooked fresh which is very important. i been in newbiggin for over 2 year now and there is 4 pizza shops including 2 fish chip shops one does pizzas but the flame has best pizzas and they have happy hour from 5 till 8 they are canny freindly lads and you can order online aswel as phone and they have freindly delivery y not give it a try best pizza in town
