Very nice and spacious pub near Shoreditch. Came by for a few pints on a reasonably quiet Saturday. There was a fair amount of seating available and overall the Queen’s Head proved to be a relaxing place to stop by. The service and serving staff were very friendly and welcoming. They have a good selection of beers, making it a great spot for a beer-drinking session, and the interior is nice and warm. However, the food was pretty average. That being said, I only had the whole hog fries, which was nice enough, but nothing special. Certainly would not have any hesitation returning at any point later.

I had an incredible dining experience at Bacco Restaurant. The food was absolutely phenomenal—especially the truffle pasta, which was rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked, and the carpaccio, which was fresh and flavorful. The attention to detail in the dishes truly reflects the essence of authentic Italian cuisine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed yet refined meal. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made the evening even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a genuine Italian dining experience in London, Bacco is a must-visit! Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely loved it...after a very hot day walking London after marathon we decided to try Covent Garden. So pleased we decided to eat here. The food was so good. We chose the 4 dishes between two of us plus olives & garlic bread. Absolutely delicious.

This restaurant boasts a lovely location next to the canal and has recently been refurbished, but sadly, the service left much to be desired. I visited a few days ago with my son, hoping to take advantage of their half-term offer where kids eat free. A large poster outside advertised the deal, and I confirmed it with the staff upon entering. After we were seated, i had to wait for a long time for someone to actually take our order (i had to ask someone to come). The restaurant was not busy but we still waited for a long time for the order to come. They brought the appetizers but no drinks. Again i had to ask. When the mains arrived but son's pizza only had 1 topping (they forgot the peppers). I told the waitress, took the pizza and when they brought it back it was burned to the sides as they baked it again with the peppers on top this time. Food is average, not bad but not great either. When the time came to pay, they had charged me for everything (even my son's free meal). I also noticed that they charged me £4 for apple juice. When taking my son's order (5 years old) they asked him if he liked orange or apple juice and he said apple. When i refused to pay the extra charge they said that they served apple juice instead of apple squash but no one ever asked what we preferred or even informed us about this choice. They took the extra charge off the bill but still i left feeling very disappointed. It's such a nice location but the staff makes the whole experience very uninviting.
