Bit of a let down, very bland (calamari) but still filling ...nice desserts etc

40 minute wait for 3 takeaway pizzas. We asked for 2 glasses of wine while waiting (paying for them obviously) and we were denied. The rude service and the inedible pizzas. Extremely rejected

Terrible food, I will never go there again, very pushy waiter/owner with a hat...

Mi amigo y yo estábamos afuera mirando alrededor y luego la persona salió del lugar, diciéndonos que comiéramos allí. No sólo eso, continuó diciendo que te diré qué comer y no necesitas mirar el menú. En general, esto nos hizo sentir muy incómodos con él golpeando su puño contra la pared con su manera agresiva. Cuando empezamos a alejarnos, empezó a insultarnos y a insultarnos, lo que nos hacía sentir aún más incómodos. No sé si él es el dueño o chef pero sus modales necesitan cambiar si quiere que la gente entre. No compraré de allí nunca ni aconsejaría a la gente que coma allí tampoco si así te tratan.

Strange food and cold food, pizzas either come from outside or from the toilet.

Crappy, cold and expensive food. Overwhelming as well as slow service. Very hurry to take the order but then they have you waiting for half an hour to serve you a cold pizza and stale pasta. Not recommended.

Really a shame....service...no idea if this was for show or really that unfriendly. Pizzas (15 pounds) served cold and little sauce...received them just as quickly as the table next to us, who ordered 10 minutes later than us. Spaghetti with schnitzel ....19 pounds ... was warm, but scanty .... pasta without cheese and minced meat. And schnitzel without lemon...in short...not worth repeating. Disappointing 😥

Very stressed boss, barely had time to take our order and almost threw the plates on the table. Food was okay but nothing special.

Average experience, We are rushed into the street, quickly, insistently and with a whistle... urged to sit down. Barely seated, already asks us for drinks and meals... we ask him for more time, insists. Once the drinks are ordered, don't bring them back, we ask him, answer, complain. Average atmosphere too, a lot of noise between the music and the staff who shout and shout in front of the customers.

The food is good but nothing more, on the other hand the waiting time for the dishes is very long and the same goes for paying the bill, and the waiter with the beret is very nice to let the customers in but after that you shouldn't take a wrong step.

We went here, cause we were very tired and hungry after whole day walking. Chicken breast with mushrooms w/o taste at all, I was surprised that none of frites or potatos were attached. Gnocchi with a sause from a can, no taste as well. Not recommended.

A man with a feather on his head made us enter like public relations, a bit of a show. Inside we asked for free water, which is great in all of London, in this case it was not drinkable, we had to order other drinks. We ordered a tricolor salad, and it brought 2 slices of cheese, 3 of tomato, cut avocado and leaf, and a handful of arugula, it looked like anything but a salad. Finally two pizzas, thinner than a sheet of paper, tasteless and dry. In our case we were a family, I would not recommend it, I give it a 1 so that this does not happen to the next person.

Friendly and welcoming staff. A short walk to London Paddington train station too, so we ended out visit to London with a nice hot meal prior to getting the train home! A nice change from visiting the 'chain' Italian restaurants! Inside was lovely and warm, which was nice especially with the cold wintery weather we have had during our visit. Food portions were very generous and well priced. Staff very helpful and wanted us to be happy. My seafood dish was a tad bland tasting, but then again, this could be down to the cold weather and my cold! Great restaurant, great people, great prices! Give it a try! And an ideal location.

We had dinner 2 evenings in this restaurant and I must say that we had a very good time, pizza freshly made and not frozen like other places in London, very good pasta (the ragù is like the homemade one in Italy) plus as a cherry on the top De Andrè's music in the background is sweet. What more do you want? Fair prices compared to the average in the area

As an Italian I can say that the pizza is far from the standards of those who know its flavour, but there probably isn't much expectation in London

La comida era genial y el personal en solitario cuando visité (probablemente el propietario) era tan agradable y amable. Específicamente me gusta su Pizza Quattro Formaggi. 🤤 Definitivamente cenaré de nuevo cuando esté en la zona y antoje pizza.

La comida tenía un precio razonable, y llegó rápidamente. El restaurante era tranquilo cuando visitamos con numerosos comensales individuales, éramos una familia y cuando preguntamos por una porción infantil la camarera dijo que no había opciones para niños. El ambiente y el servicio era un poco deficiente.

Delicious food! Owner is very nice and enthusiastic. The lady serving was also very nice and helpful. Despite the crowds, we received our food quickly!

Very good Italian restaurant! The products were fresh and the cooking was homemade. We had the spaghetti carbonara, garlic spaghetti, eggplant penne and pepperoni pizza. Everyone enjoyed themselves and finished with dessert, also homemade, the famous tiramisu. We highly recommend it and will return there on our next stay in London.

Not pleasant restaurant. I've got avocado as a starter, and they brought it with sticker on it. The pizza was dry and not cut. Pasta wasn't tasty. We expected a nice dinner but had a bad experience.

Servicio bueno pero la descripción del menú era deliberadamente engañoso. Pedí fetuccino con prosciutto y hongos. Esto vino con grandes trozos de tocino, no prosciutto. Cuando señalé esto, la camarera comenzó a darse cuenta de lo difícil que era conseguir prosciutto y lo caro que era. Bueno, no y sí. Ella se disculpó cuando pagué la cuenta, así que esto fue claramente deliberado. Y para añadir insultos, se añadió automáticamente un cargo por servicio del 10 %, aunque no se mencionó en el menú. Así que unos peniques fueron salvados por el restaurante y nunca volveré.

Don't order the bruschetta because you get a white focaccia with tomato on top. Evidently non-Italian management. The indigestible pizza. In short, if you want to eat Italian... go to Italy! 😂

Very good Italian restaurant price/quality ratio for the area in which it is located, where everything is usually a little more expensive. Great atmosphere, very good attention from the service. They took little time to attend to us and serve us. Note that they have vegan options and a very good location. The musical selection to create the atmosphere is perfect, very good taste in that too. Perfect place.

It caught us very close to the hotel and we decided to go there one night for dinner. They were very friendly and the food was very good, we ordered two pizzas and a side of fries. The quantities were quite good, so much so that we had leftovers and they gave it to us to take away.

Tourist trap, pizza clearly frozen and according to the waitresses they use an electric oven. To be avoided even if it were the last "restaurant" on earth.

We happen upon this Italian place in the heart of Paddington by chance. The welcome given was just sufficient but the good attentive service immediately made you change your mind. The pizza was good, arrived shortly. Advised.

Food is terrible! No where close to Italian food! Ordered the spinach and ricotta tortellini. Absolutely tasteless! No flavour at all and it was rubbery! Definitely wouldn't recommend this place for Italian food!

Thin crust pizza, good size to share.

A family atmosphere, fantastic service, excellent food. A hidden gem in London. I’m from the USA, have spent 3 weeks in the United Kingdom and France and you’d be hard pressed to find a more welcoming place to enjoy a meal.

We ate grilled chicken with mozzarella and ham, with Neapolitan noodles, the best we ate in London and several European countries that we visited! Very cheap (compared to prices in the area) and soooo delicious!! Thank you

Starting from the beginning, it is not an Italian, we have just come from dinner and we have verified that it is Italian cuisine made by people not specialized in the subject. To share we ordered a salad that was not drained, composed of iceberg lettuce, carrot, avocado, 3 small portions of Mozzarella (from a bag) and three slices of tomato. It seemed like a puzzle, all very well put together, similar to a hospital presentation. The 3 stars are because the second ones were not bad, 2 4-season pizzas, some large tortellini that were a little bland and a calzones that, honestly, left a lot to be desired.

This is my favourite Italian place in London by far , the food is filling and the people are so friendly and speak Italian

Loved this restaurant! The staff was super nice and we immediately felt transported to Italy when we walked in. The food was delicious (bolognese had an amazing flavor). Bruschetta was also very yummy. The only thing is that the lasagne had had more cheese than pasta.

Desastroso. Fuimos 9 personas y nos marchamos quedándose 3 de ellas sin cenar. Primero se olvidaron de poner en la comanda las lasañas, y después, nos las hicieron de carne cuando las habíamos pedido de verduras. Ni una mísera disculpa. Los entrantes llegaron después de las pizzas. Nunca se dirigieron a nosotros en español, y al final nos dimos cuenta de que una de las camareras lo hablaba perfectamente.

I went to dinner and we were 9 people. First, the starters arrived after having served 6 of the 9 diners; Second, they forgot an order of 3 vegetarian lasagna, when the rest of the diners finished eating we claimed the food and that was when they realized that they had not sent it to the kitchen. We waited 15 more minutes for them to bring them and they did so with 3 meat lasagnas, in addition to debating who came to the table to say it. THEY DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE. I do not recommend the site at all.

They don't know the difference between ham and bacon, or don't care. All ingredients are supermarket produce. Price is good. You pay a one-star price, you get one-star food.

Frozen pizza, I got a quattro formaggi and my girlfriend got a Toscana. I didn't have much expectation, but this is too much. Paying to eat a gummy pizza is not.

Une expérience désagréable. Un samedi soir à 21h, un restaurant pratiquement vide où les serveuses arrivent quand même à oublier d’envoyer la commande en cuisine…assiettes arrivées à 21h50. Aucune excuses + aucune ambiance, coupure de musique…impression de déranger. Sans oublier, le poulet dur et le fromage sans goût (pour les pizzas)

The place is quite neglected, the walls are dirty and the tables better be covered even with paper. The service was terrible, and be careful, we paid in cash and the change was returned incorrectly, partly my fault for not knowing the value of the coins. It may be a mistake, the pizza is normal and adequate for the price.

We have just been there, the pizza was very bland, it has no flavor and on top of that we have realized that they have scammed us with the change, they should have given us 6 pounds and they have given us 50 cents

En Paddington, una buena opción que está abierta hasta tarde para los horarios de Londres. Buenas pastas y una correcta pizza. El vino de la casa no nos gustó mucho es preferible elegir otro o pedir cerveza.

Non mi è piaciuta l'accoglienza del proprietario che molto "simpaticamente" invitava il personale ad accoglierci parlando italiano. Le ragazze naturalmente non spiaccicavano una sola parola e ciò è stato imbarazzante per noi e loro. Niente da aggiungere,se non di rivedere alcuni atteggiamenti non proprio consoni ad un proprietario di un'attività.

Lasagne immangiabili, pasta alla carbonara che navigava nella panna. Povero cibo italiano. L’unica cosa che si salva è la gentilezza del personale. Da non consigliare assolutamente

They had a logistics problem. But nobody in the servers and cooks didn’t mind checking why they had no work to do. The manager came 30 minutes into the waiting to finally find the problem. After an hour and 30 minutes they finally said that the food would be ready. They served the customers who arrived earlier first and the Italian speaking ones.

Absolument catastrophique ! Nous avons attendus plus d’1h15 avant de nous dire d’attendre encore 15 min de plus car personne ne s’était rendu compte qu’aucune commande ne passait en cuisine! Ils étaient 3 personnes à ne rien faire, le restaurant était complet mais personne ne s’est rendu compte du problème ! Aucune commande en 1h15 n’a été servie! Mais lorsqu’ils ont détectés le souci, ils ont servis en priorité les dernières personnes arrivées à la place des autres clients qui attendaient depuis plus d’1h.

Excellent food authentic Carbonara! Very good prices. Older waitress a bit grumpy. Forgot to offer me Parmesan and black pepper unlike my previous visit when the younger girl brought them over immediately without me asking. I had tovrequest Parmasan, first time ever, didn't ask for the pepper as it all seemed too much bother bringing the cheese. When I'd finished eating my husband hadn't. The older waitress picked my plate up and pulled it over my husbands plate whilst he was eating. He us very laid back but actually said " that was rude" under his breath. She put us off going back for sure

Staying in the area due to work and popped in for some dinner. The difference in price to Bella Pasta was quite something and the menu choice far wider here. I had calamari to start which was lightly fried with a very nice dip. Then had a good plate of pasta with courgette and small prawns which was substantial, tasty and very good value. The house red also very drinkable! Only downside is that main came whilst starter still being eaten but I find that in a lot of traditional restaurants anyway. Also my table a bit too close to the next. Wouid I return though - most definitely!

Was able to dine in without prior booking. Ordered lasagne, which arrived in good time. Was oven heated and quite hot. Traditional portion size. Very tasty. Staff were attentive and friendly enough. Ideal place for a meal after work.

The foods here are very original and authentic. They are similar to those in Milan and Verona. This is a family run business, they are Italian, so English is not their native language but they try their best. If you fancy a warm hospitality with nice chat, it is slightly taxing for them to serve but they do understand basic English. This should not penalise them. Anyway, good price, authentic Italian foods, good atmosphere, what else do you want? Sorry, they have yet to qualify as your butlers. 😊

Cenamos una noche en el Restaurant San Marco, nos atendió una jóven de nacionalidad española muy simpática y atenta. La comida magnífica. Super recomendable y sobre todo destacamos la calidez de la atención de la cámara :) gracias. Volveremos en otra ocasión!

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, this place was fantastic. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the food was fast and efficient, and the pizzas were fresh and tasty. Im not sure about their "speciality pizzas" haha, penne pasta and vodka on a pizza sounds rather dire, but if you stick to the classics, like I undoubtedly did, they will be sure to be a treat. Grazie mille!

Klein aber feine Pizzeria. Beste Pizza im Umkreis. Einfach perfekt. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Man fühlt sich wie in Italien. Das Dessert selbstgemacht, einfach genial. Wir kommen wieder.

Spaghetti bolognaise : viande sans goût et pâtes trop cuites. Pizza pâte épaisse (est-ce fait maison?). Service très long. Pas de couteau a pizza, pas d'huile piquante, pas de carrafe d'eau. Serveuses souriantes heureusement !

Buena relación calidad / precio. Decoración minimalista y mesas una encima de la otra. Pero lo que más importa, comida / servicio / precio = muy bien.
