San Carlo Cicchetti- Covent Garden in City of London, Westminster

Super leckeres Essen und super schneller und netter Service. Das es etwas mehr kostet, ist meiner Meinung nach vollkommen gerechtfertigt.

We booked a early pre-theatre meal and were warmly welcomed on arrival The restraunt was not busy and the atmosphere and decor is very relaxing. We opted for the Chicken Milanese and Tagliatelle mains with side orders. The meals were of excellent quality quantity and presentation and the staff were helpful and friendly. We definately will return soon as we loved the Italian feel and food on offer.

Saliendo del bullicio de Covent Garden buscamos nos dimos de bruces con San Carlo, un italiano de cocina veneciana donde sirven pequeñas raciones pensadas para compartir. Aunque no resulta barato, salimos encantado, tanto por la calidad de los platos como por un impecable servicio durante toda la comida. Elegimos: carpaccio di manzo, gnocchi sorrentina, melanzana y osobucco y un par de Apperol Spritz. Encantadísimos con el descubrimiento.

Wir waren als Familie 2 Erwachsene und (Kinder 7/8) zum Abendessen. Leider wurden wir mehr als enttäuscht. Die Bestellung wurde nicht so gebracht wie aufgegeben-Hauptgang sowie eine Vorspeise gingen beim Kellner vergessen(obwohl aufgeschrieben und wiederholt). Unter dem Chef de Service und den „Hilfskellnern“ war eher schlechte Stimmung. Der Chef de Service war hektisch und unkonzetriert. Ferner wurde der Parmesan nicht wie gewünscht serviert und die Löffel beim Dessert vergessen. Auch wurde wiederum nur 1 Kugel Eis anstatt wie gewünscht 2 Kugeln Eis gebracht. Am Schluss war die Rechnung in 2 Teilen gesplittet und nicht übersichtlich(Ein weiterer Fehler vom Chef de Service). Das Essen war ok-aber für hungrige Menschen eher nicht geeignet. Wir haben aufgrund den Kindern nicht viel „reklamiert“ und es als Familie so gut es geht genossen. Daher eher nicht für Familien am Abend geeignet.

We had a fantastic night at Cicchetti. We were a large group (there was 9 of us) and they accommodated us a really well. Delna served us and she was fantastic, especially when hosting such a large group. We really appreciated her fantastic service and the whole night was 10/10. Thank you! We will be back.

The location of the restaurant is fabulous if you are visiting The West End. We had booked and were seated immediately. We ordered our food which arrived very quickly. One of my friends had cold gnocchi which was returned. Despite numerous chasings, she never got her main course. We had all finished our meals, and after 30 minutes of waiting and asking, we told them not to bother. The apology was less than sincere and they merely did not charge for the gnocchi. We had all been looking forward to this and we all enjoyed our food but the service was too quick, mistakes were made and apology insincere. If you want a good night out and ti feel like a valued customer then, unfortunately, I would avoid Ciccheti’s!

I was sceptical after seeing mixed reviews on here but me and my family were pleasantly surprised by this lovely place! The concept is smaller plates for sharing and everything arrives when it’s ready. The quality of the food was really good and we loved the fried pizza dough, fried zucchini, pollo Milanese, tartufo ravioli & carbonara. The service was good if a little rushed and cramped. For pre-show dinner this is a great spot.

Disappointed, was looking forward to first visit here but it was very loud and chaotic. If you are looking for somewhere for a nice relaxing dinner where you can chat and enjoy your food this is not the place for uou. Food also average. Not worth a second visit.

Visited here with my wife for a nice meal while visiting London as we always enjoy San Carlo restaurants - this one was nothing like the others. The tables are set way too close together, making it impossible for people to get past - my chair was kicked and I was bumped into multiple times, mostly by the maitre d’ who seemed to have virtually no idea what was going on. Food arrived sporadically, and the waiter even asked us if we wanted to see the dessert menu before 2 of our meals had arrived. For the first time in over 20 years I was actually physically sick when I got back to the hotel. I ended up more stressed after the experience than when I went in. If you like good food and a relaxed atmosphere, this is not the place for you

We had been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and the last two times it has been disappointing. Very rude staff...... Do not waste your time - we had a table at 6pm, we were told at 7.35pm that you had to leave, we had just finished our main course, I asked if we could have coffee and dessert and was rudely told you have been here 1 hour 50 mins you need to pay the bill - I was taking family out and recommended this restaurant, I have never been so embarrassed or angry before. I was told you need to leave now someone is waiting for your table. I asked them to remove the service and paid the bill and left and will never return to this restaurant.

Food delicious as usual, I would say though we had 6 dishes between 4 people which is way below what they recommended, but totally enough for lunch and almost too much as we struggled to eat everything. Service excellent, my only quibble and the reason for 4 not 5/5 would be that when we they approached the table to discuss an issue with the wine, the waiter discussed this with the only male at the table, who is clearly a very young man and was drinking cola not the wine, please have more respect for women, particularly ones paying for the meal. The toilets were clean but smelt of urine, we mentioned this to the waiter and he said they would look into the issue. Overall a good experience
