We visited Bacco restaurant for dinner. Excellent place to dine with your loved ones and friends. Plenty of choice to eat, we experienced a warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order to please you. We had pasta with black truffle served in a crispy parmigiano basket and seafood pasta, finishing our dinner with the famous Italian dessert tiramisu. Great evening, will visit again.

I came here for dinner with a couple friends. Our waiter Felix was great, the atmosphere was very nice and all our drinks came out very fast. For the food we had the prawn pasta, nduja pasta and the chicken pollo parmigiana which were all lovely. Would highly recommend 👍🏻.

We dropped in very early on a Friday evening without a booking. The staff worked hard to get us on a no show table for two. The excellent customer service from everybody is apparent. The people here genuinely enjoy what they do it seems. The wine choices were spot on, no fuss asking for tap water. Hot plates, attentive but not intrusive service. The black prawn pasta dish had lovely flavours. The only negative is the prawns were poor.

An amazing spot in Richmond, we was greeted with a warm welcome from staff and had a lovely waiter called Jonathan who was extremely attentive to give us the best service possible. Will definitely come back!

Bacco is the place to go to get you in the right mood for a pre-theatre lunch. The atmosphere is great, the service perfect and the menu choice and wines magnifico! Excellent restaurant for any occasion. I have been eating here few times now and very time really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My 8 year old son loved octopus here, delicious risotto and the steaks were amazing too. The location is very convenient, being right next to station and few minutes away from Kew Gardens

The food was delicious (I had grilled octopus, and others spoke well of theirs). House wine was fine. Our party of ten was well accommodated in a room to ourselves. The waiter (young, black, articulate) was charming, and coped admirably with a discrepancy in the bill payment, which had occurred somewhere between us chipping in 1/10 each on our cards, and the restaurant's bank. I hope it was resolved in due course!

I was told by the waiter to shovel my food down because they needed us to order by 9:30 pm on a Saturday night. Restaurants in London are becoming absolutely ridiculous in respect to when they close the kitchen given that London is supposed to have a good bunch of theatres and cinemas and you should be able to go to a theatre or other entertainment and eat afterwards. No wonder the hospitality industry is struggling. You would think they would make it easier for people to come out for dinner but that relies on them opening kitchens until after theatre and other productions like cinema finish. If they don’t becoming more flexible, more and more restaurants will close which will be a shame.

My wife and I called in for a spontaneous Saturday lunch after a walk around Richmond. This was our 2nd visit and it was terrific. The owners visit Italy 3 time a year to find interesting regional dished to bring back to add to the menu. It shows. While there are the classics there are also interesting variations. The quality is immense. The outside terrace is a joy in a sunny day and our server LaLa was a model professional who dealt with a couple of unusual challenges with huge grace and warmth. Thoroughly recommended.

I highly recommend Bacco Italian Restaurant in Richmond. At the moment I collect Take Away at the weekend. However I’m delighted that on 12 April they will be open for their splendid alfresco veranda dining. It’s stylish and well covered. Over the past couple of years I have become a regular customer. It’s a family run restaurant, the owners Stefano and Jaya always make one feel ‘at home’.I must mention the friendly and excellent service from Alicjiaa and Jimmy and the Italian chef Luca prepares such tasty food, in all the times I have visited this restaurant I have never been disappointed. Thank goodness this restaurant will be able to reopen for alfresco dining on 12 April.

I ordered a New Year’s Eve takeaway dinner from this lovely family-run restaurant in Richmon, mostly because I wanted to support this cosy, friendly, authentic and always tasty restaurant during the COVID-awfulness. I was concerned about how fine Italian food would travel but I need not have worried. The food was as fabulous as if we had been in the restaurant and I could easily transfer the starters (crispy calamari and diavolo prawns) to look great on a big platter. And the main meals (rack of lamb with garlic mash/greens, lobster linguini, veal with truffle sauce and fondant potatoes ) were utterly delicious and easy to plate up to look like a posh restaurant meal. Well done Stefano and team for such fantastic food and for keeping going throughout the pandemic. We look forward to when we can come visit you again sometime soon

Had a delicious take away from Bacco on 30th December during Tier 4 lock down. Food was delicious and still hot by the time we got it home.It was a shame we couldn’t sit in, or even outside on their fabulous heated patio but the food made eating it at home special.

Good food, friendly but ok service, disgraceful hygiene during COVID-19. No soap or proper paper towels in men’s toilet. Flagged it on return from first visit to toilet and was assured something would be done. On second time still nothing. I complained again and they were going to take the soap from behind the bar to the toilet. Not sure what the bar staff would use to clean their hands so told them not to. Awful impression at the end of an otherwise pleasant experience.

With new covid restrictions, I was looking for somewhere with warm outdoor seating to celebrate my 40th with a friend. They made such a lovely effort with the table-white tablecloth, red decorations, cushion seats, and the glass of prosecco was a lovely touch! The service was amazing, with Stefano making sure we had a great time! We ordered the courgette fritti, which were a bit oily, and the charcuterie- very yummy. The veal in truffle sauce and lasagne were divine! With a few bottles of champagne, we were there all day, and they made us feel so special! Highly recommend, and will certainly be going back. Tables are adequately spaced outside, so you feel safe!
