Pizzas arrived cold due to the delays in delivery. Not impressed.

first time ordering from pizza express and definitely the last , pizza was awful burnt and hard base couldn’t even cut it never mind chew it never again cost me £40 with sides what a waste of money

Missing item. No one picks up the phone.

Ordered at 7:40pm but restaurant didn’t get order until 8:27pm meaning food didn’t arrive until 9:10pm.

I don’t know why I gave this place another chance … I live 5 mins from shop but delivery was over 45 mins and AGAIN it’s cold and undercooked !!! Never again avoid

Totally rubbish. Cold food . I never ever had this kind of rubbish food . Even not organised properly. Look like someone put who doesn't have experience .

good quality food delivered on time or a few minutes early every time but never late and never cold . I would definitely recommend.

Lovely meal at Pizza Express in Barnet with my daughter. We chose to go then because of the pizza offer and were very pleased with food and ambiance.

Although we arrived late afternoon but before the usual busier dining times and the restaurant was very quiet, it was still an enjoyable experience and the restaurant was warm and inviting. We both had a wonderful pizza and I enjoyed the wine available on the menu.

My order was NOT delivered because of just eat company

Ordered for 6.30, arrived 6.52. Dough balls rock hard.

Pizza is good but delivery is slow and as a consequence the pizza is cold when it finaöly arrives (we ordered directly from pizzaexpress but they use Uber for deliveries)

Very tasty pizza. Good size but £17.99 it's a lot of money for a single pizza. Love the deals and promotions they have throughout the year. Didn't see much difference between the ingredients. Waiting time was a bit long. Kids menu are amazing.

driver couldn't find the house apparently was quite rude

40% off and still approximately £15.Tiny portions.It was average food and the little dough balls,part of the deal were just a spin on garlic bread.Better off with actual garlic bread certainly for the portion size and price.feel ripped off.😞☹️

Great food, great service during our visit yesterday. Karola our waitress was excellent and helped ensure my 2 young children had a fantastic time. The new gluten free Romano Base was also brilliant. Recommended.

Absolutely disgusting! I ordered on Uber eats, they delivered the pizza in a timely manor, yet the pizza arrive stale, full of oil not edible! I called the manager and he wasn’t helpful at all! All I wanted was replacement pizzas and was willing to collect yet he refused and lied! He said Uber eats will send new pizza which is a lie. Now my children don’t have dinner as I am sick!!! Do not order from here

My grandad brought me and my sister here for lunch after we went swimming, the drinks and starters were quick although they gave me the wrong drink a very kind waiter came over fast and swapped the drink. All the staff are very friendly although there was an annoying screaming child deafening everyone with its high pitched whines. the mains came quickly after, food was good as usual. Would recommend to anyone with kids or anyone who wants good pizza.

Paid £15 for a pizza and then got charged 75p for a pot of garlic butter than wasn’t even full half way. Rubbish service. Oh, and they didn’t give any cutlery even though there was pasta in the takeaway order.

I loved the CALABRESE . Shame they took of from the menu. This was the only reason I visiter pizza express. Very dissapointed. Put back CALABRESE on the menu !

We came over on a Saturday for some Lunch. The pizza we had was very delicious, the dough and the sauce were tasty and not over filling. I had a toffee stick as a desert and that was Yummy. I'll defo come back for the service! David was vert attentive and helpful. He made sure everything was on point. Thank you. You made my weekend

We like going to Pizza Express because it's my son's favourite. We have been going to the High Barnet branch for many years now. Many things have changed over the years, including new management, who it seems, have prioritised making money over anything else, prioritising take away orders over customers who are seated in the restaurant and kept waiting for long periods to be served, between orders or even to pay the bill. This Thursday (4th July) the restaurant was packed to the brim. There were only two servers and the occasional manager ( I suppose) who was giving them a helping hand, two cooks and one female staff member who was largely dealing with takeaway orders. We were there to celebrate a special 85th birthday of a dear friend. One of the servers , who it seems is always angry/grumpy (in the many years I've been going there, he is always that way and his manner is very curt) when it came to paying the bill, when my friend tried to tap the card and the machine rejected the card. He just threw the card on the table saying not working and walked away. It was shocking to say the least that you would treat a customer this way instead of politely asking the customer to either try a different card or insert the card and use the pin as an alternative option. All in all, just a very disappointing in terms the quality of food, the amount of time one had to wait for the food and most of all, the quality of service! We are never going back there and I am writing this review in the hope that the management reads this review and get their act together - including hiring more staff(staff who are trained and well mannered) especially at busy times.

We booked a table for 9:15 on June 5th. The staff were very polite and nice, but the first impression of a staff was disappointing. The first thing we heard even when we said we already booked was:” we close at 10” 😐 better to let us sit l, then mention it when you give us the menu 😊 But, anyway, we are the pizza express fan, love the food and like to experience different branches

Pizza was, as usual great. BUT, as usual, it was barely lukewarm. Why can't they keep the pizzas hot till they are delivered!!!

Lovely meal here for a special occasion. Once they realised it was my husband's 50th, they surprised him with a special pudding and our waiter sang to him. 💛 Great touch.

Fantastic staff- they were really great with my toddler and made the experience a joy for her. A little busy which affected service- but it was Mother’s Day!

We ate there today (1st April) Food was great as always, we were seated but werent given any menus, so when the server came to take our drinks order I had to say we didnt know as we werent given any menu's bless him though we were told he was new so we werent annoyed. (Lovely young man, Black hair, longish sweep fringe, adorable smile) As it got busier the service got a little slower as expected, an older man took our starters & mains order, later we asked for a dessert menu's, then were left for about 20 minutes before my husband had to call our 1st server over (the lovely young man) as the server who took our main order was nowhere in sight, then a lovely lady with a head scarf gave us our desserts, she had a lovely smile and was very polite. Would have been 5 stars for all if it werent for all the waiting and lack of menu's. Note to the new guy: I used to work at a pizza express years ago, you will get there don't worry, you're doing great! :)

Newly decorated, good new look. Food is still the same good quality with a few new additions. Friendly staff and a good place to eat with the family.

We waited an hour for our food, they were rude and didn’t attend to us at all.

One person really stood out when we had lunch here today and that was David (Davide?). He was really polite, friendly and efficient. A great asset to the team. The others not so much. Service was slow and not particularly friendly. Overall I think that this branch needs a revamp. I don't know when it was last refurbished but there is paint coming off the walls and it looks dated. The pizzas were ok. Not the best Pizzas I have ever had from Pizza Express. I mainly came on here to commend David for his service and friendly disposition!

Definitely a lovely place to visit. Charming, neat and cozy. Staff attentive and friendly. There is no chaos around and tables are spaced properly to avoid feeling like you are sitting on a top of another group of people eating & chatting. Make sure to get the app and look for a free appetizer (starter). My friends and I have been here 2 times now and loved it. Will come out to eat probably in May again since it is a middle point for our drive from our houses!

First time in 30 years that I felt things are beginning to slip. The staff were great but the food isn't what it used to be. The prawn starter had hardly any prawns in it. The calamari was burnt on one side and uncooked and soggy on the other. The pizzas were just ok. Then they run out of cream for the desserts. Very disappointing to see their usual high standards slipping.

I order this at least once a month thought it’s so expensive for one pizza and dough balls. It’s usually good as previously reviewed but tonight so bad. Pizza looked so thick and undercooked, barely warm. It was in fact completely stuck to an extra piece of cardboard where undercooked dough has completely stuck fast to it. Dough balls cold and hopeless. Disappointing guys I’m happy to bring the evidence in when I am in Barnet.

THANK YOU Chris & Team: Have been coming to this Pizza Express since I was a child (remember my parents holding a birthday party here for me) now I have a baby and look forward to the next generation coming here. What makes my visit special is my wife and I look forward to the welcoming staff especially Christopher who honestly makes our meal feel more than just a dinner out. Great attitude, work ethos, astoundingly remembers our preferences from our previous visit a very special waiter with this level of attention - “calabrese no calabrese sausage, instead pepperoni” 😉 he knows

Food arrived late and cold. Very dissapointed especially as the restaurant is 10mins away. Deliberately decided on this restaurant due to location as assumed food would arrive on time and hot. Map on the website gave false information telling me the driver was 1 minute away for at least 10mins unless of course the driver was doing something else??? Very disappointing service.

I couldn’t be happier with todays service. I took my son and some of his friends to pizza express for a birthday meal today and the service was fantastic!!! Our table was looked after by 2 ladies but I stupidly didn’t take their names however they were super pleasant & patient from start to end. They really went over and above to make us feel comfortable. The food came out fast, hot and tasty in fact I had forgotten how good PE’s pizzas are. Great service !!!!!!

I visited Pizza Express with my best friend to spend some quality time together and really had the best time. The food was very delicious, we asked the waiter for his suggestion and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, friendly people and smiles everywhere. Would definitely visit again.

Karola was a lovely waitress and very attentive. We went in om a busy Saturday evening and the chefs were working so hard. Food came out in a timely fashion, tasted good and was piping hot. Good veggie choices.

The service and quality of the food was very good. The problem with the restaurant is that it has not been able to serve ant coffee or tea for the last weeks as its coffee machine has been broken and the company have been extremely slow in dealing with this issue. The staff are very apologetic and embarrassed about this issue and have been let down by poor management by the company.

We had our daughter's 10th birthday party here on Sunday 24th September. We had such an amazing experience and we were looked after superbly by David and his staff! They were outstanding, bravo :)
