We had a superb experience when we went as a group of seven. Pizzas were excellent - just the right ratio of crispy thin base and delicious toppings. The service was spot on. Quite relaxed and easy-going, but attentive and efficient. We had a very enjoyable evening.

This is a review for the original Bar Unico in Lincoln as opposed to the monstrosity that has replaced it in the form of Crazy Appetite. Bar Unico was the best place in Lincoln for coffee and breakfast. Its replacement is dire. The main reason for posting this review is as a warning to potential customers for Crazy Appetite. This is not the same place and isn’t worth your custom.

We went here on recommendation and took the fixed menu. Excellent value for money and stunning food. Our group of 4 all had something different, and we were all very satisfied, even the veggie! Highly recommend.

Our favourite Pizza Place in Lincoln. Brilliant example of a well run business: kind, accommodating, and attentive wait staff paired with wonderful food. Will return again soon!

Starter and main courses were delicious, service was friendly and quick. Only let down was the panna cotta was not set. However I would definitely go back.

Excellent food at reasonable prices. The artisan pizzas were HUGE and delicious. Great, attentive service. No annoying background music: a quiet but friendly place for lunch. Recommended!

Quick, tasty, decently priced and served with a smile! I don’t ask for much - but Frankie & Bennys, Lincoln tick every box and pass with flying colours. Ok - the food isn’t sensational, but for what it is, it does superbly. Free refills on coffee and tea which you barely have to ask for as our waiter took care of us enough to ask when our cups looked empty. Perhaps the overly generous score is to combat the harsh reviews below - this is not a bad place to eat! And I come here enough to know that. I have the three egg omelette with different fillings each time to try them out!

Shame really, I’m away for work and I’ve been here once before which was so lovely but this time round was shocking. Nearly walked out after sitting 20 minuets for someone to come and take my order considering it was pretty quiet and there was three of them stood around polishing cutlery and chatting, at one point one of the girls went to check on a nearby table yet I was still ignored. I was then met with attitude. Food came out quick and was nice but the start of the experience has really put me off. Did not feel welcome at all which wasn’t very nice especially when dinning alone, I’m glad this isn’t my local.

La comida encantadora tenía que decir servido por Trudi era su primera semana! Ella era fantástico y dio un excelente servicio muy hablador y servicial! La comida era preciosa muy rápido y muy sabroso!

Fui a este restaurante anoche las mesas estaban pegajosas y sucias Pedí calzone era asqueroso la camarera era muy buena y conseguí que el cocinero hiciera otro que era igual de malo 5 estrellas para la camarera 0 estrellas para el chef claramente no lo suficientemente bueno

No es la más cálida de las bienvenidas, pero cuando finalmente nos atendieron nuestro anfitrión fue educado y atento Desafortunadamente una vez que llegó nuestra comida, aunque era sabroso no había mucho de ella y por lo que recibimos muy caro.

Ordered a salt and chilli box No chicken wings as stated X2 spare ribs and absolutely covered in hot chilli sauce which wasn’t expected so quite disappointing as couldn’t really eat it
