Dined, at this amazing little gem of a restaurant many times.. Food always superb. Staff attentive & polite. Highly recommend the Moussaka! One of the best I have ever eaten! The Cesar Salad is delightful! Fresh ^ super tasty.. Look forward to my next dining experience here🙂

How this restaurant is only ranked 90th in Lincoln I will never know. A real hidden gem, yet only 5 mins walk from town down the High Road. Generous portions, freshly cooked to perfection and a very nice knowledgeable waitress who will advise on the menu if you are not sure. Will definitely be back.

I was in 2 minds wether to leave a review as I would like to keep this gem of a restaurant a hidden secret, but we were that impressed with the food and service it really does deserve to be shouted from the rooftops, just how good this place is. If you like Greek/Mediterranean food then this small restaurant should definitely go on your ‘to do list’. I actually like the fact that it was tucked away down a side street, away from the madding town crowd (do not let this put you off. The food was clearly cooked from fresh and every course was a delight. It was also extremely good value. We will most definitely return.

Really great food quality and menu. Well worth the short walk from Lincoln’s main high street and other dining areas. Exceptional value, I treated myself to multiple starters and none let me down. Attentive service from the girl working front of house, really made us feel welcome. Will definitely be returning next time we’re in Lincoln. Just wish we had tried the complimentary home made limoncello and had a pudding. There’s always next time.

This restaurant is truly excellent and very reasonable, the food and service were superb and the chef also came out of the kitchen for a chat we will definitely be regular customers here

Mainly Italian and Greek dishes all cooked wonderfully. Service was friendly and prompt. The only downside is the location but worth the effort. If they were on the other side of the railway tracks it would be rated one of the best in Lincoln. Highly recommend.

Second visit here and what a find , people don’t realise it’s here 2 mins walk out of town centre , food and service are excellent

What a great discovery. My wife and I visited this unpretentious restaurant this evening, 22nd June, with friends who had previously visited. The food was absolutely delicious. Every course was beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. The service was excellent, attentive, and couldn’t be faulted. The menu has something for all tastes, and very reasonably priced, particularly for the superb quality of the food. We will certainly be visiting again, and feel that this little restaurant deserves to be in the top 3 restaurants in Lincoln. It definitely deserves a closer look if you appreciate superb food at a very reasonable price.

I went there last night and it was unexpectedly, fabulous food served by a very friendly waitress. We were extremely impressed, particularly by the entrees and the dessert. Highly recommended. We will definitely go again.

Someone had told us about a fantastic little restaurant just off the high street. We found it, looked at the menu and went in. It was fairly quiet on a Sunday afternoon. The menu was Greek and Mediterranean mainly, my wife and I had 3 courses and soft drinks and bill was under £50. The food was superb we couldn't fault anything we will definitely be back.

Had a really tasty meal at this restaurant tucked away just off the High Street. I had the best moussaka I have tasted in over 30 years. The burgers were also great. Our server was attentive and lovely and the cocktails were delicious. The sharer plates on the next table looked very tempting so will defintely be back to try more dishes and more cocktails!

I have been here multiple times and will keep returning. Costas and his team offer amazing food at great value. Such lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly service too. After sampling most of the menu I can definitely recommend dishes like the mushroom risotto with truffle oil, spetsofai, kleftiko, homemade tzatziki, lamb chops, plant-based calamari, meat and meat-free moussaka, and portokalopita for dessert.

Service was excellent, both when we booked a table and on the evening. Starters were amazing Bit cold in the restaurant but they kindly sat us by the radiator. Main courses were plentiful, simple but tasty. Had the house wine which was also really nice. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Beautiful little Greek place off the beaten track tho, had to put my maps on to find this haha but omg glad we did, just go down Gaunt Street and its on the left!! the food is amazing, we chose a few plates and each one was so good!! We asked for rice as wasn't with the dish I asked for and they were fine about it. lots of space so wheelchair access is fine, waiter is polite and attentive, was early, just after it opened so a little cold but we will be back.....definitely

Delicious food, great service and amazing value! A real hidden gem right here in Lincoln! Four of us dined with starters and main plus two bottles of wine, £112!! And all the dishes were delicious! It wasn’t a case of what can I find here to eat, more like how do I choose between these lovely dishes of food!

Eat here last night with friends, extremely reasonable and fantastic food. Can’t recommend enough and will be back soon.

We visited Gastronomico as a group of friends for dinner and pre ordered the three course Christmas menu. We were welcomed by a young lady who was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is small but very cosy and ambient and the staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and seasoned to perfection, in fact we couldn’t fault anything. Everything is freshly made by two talented chefs who came out to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. There were clean plates all round and even though every dish was amazing I’d have to say the Greek orange pudding was my favourite! We are excited to return and try the normal menu very soon. A gem of a restaurant that comes highly recommended by us *****

Had a meal for 4 friends over the weekend, various sharing starters and mix of mains and desserts. All food was great with bags of flavour and I'd definitely be looking to eat here again. All staff friendly and attentive.

Amazing restaurant beautifully decorated and cozy, food tasted amazing as if home made. Good range of Mediterranean dishes, also many vegetarian and vegan options on offer. Great service and atmosphere. I had Carbonara pasta and my brother had pasta Bolognese with a glass of red wine, both tasted amazing. Super fresh ingredients, delicious taste. Definitely recommend to visit if you are local in Lincoln or just visiting. One of the best restaurants in Lincoln for sure. They are doing takeaway too. Well done guys, keep it up. Will definitely visit you again!

Honestly I’ve visited couple of restaurants and most of the time I was ordering risotto to find the best one Some of them were extremely over salted, in other restaurants mostly you didn’t feel that balance of a creamy risotto with a bit of freshness😬 I need to say that Gastronomico serves the best risotto in Lincoln🤌 perfect balance of taste, nice texture and incredibly generous portions, now it’s my beloved place to order risotto🤤

We had an amazing time her, we visited Lincoln from Newcastle and came across this hidden gem, food was amazing, very good value and the service was spot on. I would suggest getting a bread with your main to add to the experience, if I could give it more than 5 I would. Definitely worth a visit

Delicious food and a lovely, varied menu with interesting takes on classic dishes - we had seafood linguine with seaweed and a chorizo and chicken risotto, all perfectly cooked. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, highly recommend.

Super nice food, very reasonable prices and cosy interior in the restaurant. Would highly recommend a visit to Gastronomico. We live nearby and it's great to have a restaurant like this on our side of town - so we don't have to venture into the centre of town.

Chanced upon this place when visiting Lincoln from Leeds and my goodness so glad we did. Such a warm welcome and friendly host. The food really is a bit special, obviously made with love and care. We had harrisa chicken skewers to start plus home...
