Best vegan sourdough pizza in lincoln evaaaaa!!! We got the weirdough and we highly recommend and the vegan garlic may and vegan chilli jam, omg we were in heaven

Really great service and food to match. Booked the table on a whim, and we were delighted with it. Casual food place, catering for families but could easily spend the night here. Both starters and pizzas were top notch, highly recommend if you enjoy pizza and good vibes.

Tasty pizzas, friendly and efficient service and an amazing playlist! Colouring provided for the kids along with a really good 3 course meal plus a drink. A good selection of cocktails, pizzas and a friendly vibe. Will come again!

Very impressive Neapolitan pizza. On the pricey side, though there is no doubting the quality of the ingredients and being the other side of the wall from the castle means the location couldn't get much better. Atmosphere and the friendly staff cap off the experience - well worth a visit after the long trek up Steep Hill.

The menu choice here is exceptional. The names of the pizzas are imaginative and entertaining. We had loaded fries as a starter, pizza (of course) and shared the chocolate brownie, all of which were delicious. Will defo go back again.

Went with friends to celebrate a birthday. The service was excellent and the food was even better. Excellent value for money considering the quality of the food. Speaking with a member of staff, they said that their pizza is national award winning! No wonder it was so good!

Went with my family (partner and young child) and had a brilliant time! My son was well looked after and loved his meal. The best part is that he even ate for free! The pizzas were superb and far and away the best I've had in Lincoln. Actually, I don't remember having a better pizza anywhere. I strongly recommend Meat The Devil and the blue cheese dip. Very, very good!

Really lives up to the hype! Genuinely one of the best pizzas I've had and I've tried a lot of pizza. My family also loved it. Great friendly service too. Wish we lived closer so we could take advantage of delivery! Will definitely be back and I want to try the desserts next time, which all sounded incredible.

Underwhelmed by our experience here - ordered a pizza, garlic bread and mozzarella sticks for 2. Pizza itself was underwhelming and lacked flavour, dough was tough and chewy, unlike other Neapolitan pizzas we have had before. The ingredients felt cheap and like it was done on a budget. Even the garlic mayo which you pay £1.50 for just tasted exactly like Crucials Garlic Mayo sauce. Mozzarella sticks are frozen ones just like McDonald’s yet you pay £7.50, which is extremely overpriced. Garlic bread was nice however, that was the one positive. Atmosphere is weird with really loud music and a disco ball. Tables feel too close together and people can’t get past when you’re eating. Even the service itself felt rushed. Wouldn’t recommend and would try other pizza places. We paid £39 for this including service charge, and wish we had gone somewhere else.

We booked when on a day trip to Lincoln because the pictures of the food looked really good. At first it wasn't what I expected... they had a disco ball and music and, while I looked like great fun for kids, it was a little bit loud for me. But the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was in fact very nice, and a lot of thought seemed to have been put into the theme and decorations. We'd definitely go again for a lunch near the castle next time we're in the neighbourhood. Summary: a very family friendly pizza place, in a good location, with good food.

Loved it!! Wasn't too sure what to expect for a pizza place and being Italian I was pleasantly surprised how close to the real thing it was.. A tad noisy but otherwise a great atmosphere and had a homely feel to it.

Lovely service excellent pizza loved the option of a flatter thinner version and the ingredients were great quality. We will definitely come back - if anything they were a little over generous on the cheese for me (but not so my wife) - and it didn’t spoil a superb pizza I would just ask for a little less personally next time. I ate every piece obviously to make sure … the wine was also really good and the rocket salad was lovely. Overall a great dining experience - quirky surroundings in the shadow of the castle wall. We travelled from South Yorkshire and will return soon. Thanks !

Usually our favourite place to eat in Lincoln, and the food as ever was delicious. However unsure if being tucked away in the corner meant we were forgotten about from a service point of few. Think from ordering until leaving the staff may have said 5 words to us. We had to ask for our mains after starters as we were left with the plates, I don’t mind delays when places are busy, but there was no offer of drinks or the usual sort of checking in with the table over the course of about an hour and 20mins. Felt like we were forgotten about.

We love dough loco, the pizzas are beautiful especially the hot honey one it’s amazing. We had George serving us and they was so professional and lovely and chatty. So friendly and a real great addition to the team. Only thing I would say is it’s quite chilly especially in the toilets it’s very cold.

Delicious food, top 3 pizzas from Lincoln restaurants, beautiful neapolitan style with a very thin base and tasty pasata. Large variety of flavourful toppings available and plenty of drinks - the house lager is rather good. To add to the authenticity you even get scissors to cut the pizza to stop the crust getting squashed! Lots of good desserts too and a shot of lemoncello with the bill

The greed of Christmas is upon us - the food was lovely and probably can't blame the staff but lack of customer service needs to be looked at - Saturday before Christmas a group of us booked and this had been booked for a while so not last minute- had our meal ordered alot of drink, spent a fare bit of money to be told as soon as we had finished they needed the table back within 15 mins and the bill was plonked down in the middle of the table - this was a surprise as we had not been told or warned about how long we had for the table and when there is a large amount of 10 people we can only eat and drink as quick as they bring us is our order - we were told if we wanted a sweet or coffee we would have to take it away, as there was no where for us to be moved to, to finish our lunch even though the place was empty!!! We understand its hard times for pubs and restaurants and to make as much money as you can at this time of year but Christmas is only once a year and unfortunately Dough Loco hasn't been very festive but plain greedy and needs to be mindful your customers aren't just for Christmas but all year round. Would we recommend probably not after that experience.

The food was fantastic and very very tasty.... however we were not told we only had the table for 2 hours and after spending near on £400 pounds with them they couldn't wait to get us out of the door for the next customers, and was told if you would like a sweet then you would have to take it with you. Not at all pleased.

Ordered online, pizza's were a little smaller than your average large at a pizza chain, but still a very good size. Both pizza's we're the best we've had, the dough and ingredients were fresh. The loaded BBQ fries we're extremely good even in delivery (Wish there was a little more chicken on it but it's not a massive deal). For the price we paid we'd get a similar deal in Dominos etc, however, i could not fault anything we ordered and will be choosing this restaurant again over any fast food pizza chain.

Booked a table which was a good job as it was heaving. Minus 1 ⭐ for service as we sat we had booked and was shown to a table and the waitress said she'd bring menus. She then went off to do other tasks and we waited another 10 minutes before anyone else offered us menus. After that all went smooth. Food was incredible. We ordered way too much.

What an excellent find, we just about managed to get in unbooked, thank’s to the guy looking after us, it’s a very steep hill to walk up if you couldn’t get in, I really would recommend booking as this place is busy for a good reason Food was amazing, some of the best pizza we have ever had, this includes a trip so Scily. Staff were amazing to, excellent food knowledge and just great pizza

Very nice pizzas. I had the BBQ chicken and followed up with an indulgent sticky toffee pudding. Refreshing and easily drinkable house lager. Topped off with a lovely limoncello that wasn't too sweet. The disco decor was curious, but not too distracting. Service was very friendly and helpful. All round made for a nice atmosphere. Could happily go again and try more of the menu.

First time we've ate here. Nice atmosphere, good service from Molly, nice pizzas and decent prices for the Bailgate. Would be nice to have a IPA on the drinks option, no anchovies for the pizzas seems strange and not keen on the service charge, but that's me been piccy, would definitely go again.

Horrible pizzas. The ones I do in my own ooni oven are the real deal. Pizzas absolutely saturated in oil, undercooked (I came twice within 6 months just be sure it wasn't a one off the first time, it wasn't) this is an embarrassment. Pizzas aren't difficult to make and cook. Service awful both times, uni students or similar who leave you waiting far too long, also rude. The nail in the coffin... A 10% service charge that you have to ask them to remove from the bill. What a sneaky way to get more money for an already rubbish meal. Knowing full well most Brits won't dare to ask to remove it. Well I did. When I asked for it to be removed the owner wasn't happy and pretty much threw the receipt at me. You need to look at your food, your Staff and most importantly your sneaky little service charge. Owner needs to take criticism and improve things not throw the dummy out. That's not how you change and run a successful business.

Very nice place inside and out, looks like a relaxing place to go for a meal out, the pizza that I had to take away was really nice and flavoursome, never had a sourdough pizza base before but it was really nice.

For a place which is so expensive for mediocre food, I would have thought it would have been vey posh and at least the chairs would have been more comfy to sit on... The staff were very slow, the place was very tired and the atmosphere was very cold... It just reminded me of an old pub, pretending to be something its not... I would have enjoyed a Dominos at home better, and they are dear but I would have got much more for my money... Would have to have my arm twisted a lot to go again

Four of us went in here. Saturday night of Steampunk/Bank hol. weekend. Great place to go if you like pizza. LOL. Nothing to much trouble for the staff. Beautiful pizza, would recommend to anyone.

A friend and I recently ate here and had a great experience. Atmosphere was really nice with great decor. Food order taken, pizzas prepared and brought to the table in a perfectly reasonable time and tasted delicious. It took a little while to get the bill but in all fairness, the staff barely stopped. They were constantly serving people. We had a very nice evening and will definitely go back.

So far the best pica and cheese cake I ever had in Lincoln.

First time at Dough Loco and what a great time we had! We loved the disco ball and swing music and it was the perfect setting to celebrate my Mum’s birthday. Luke and Hannah FOH were both very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu and energy - they also gave my Mum a complementary drink which was so nice! Big shout out also to Leah and Henry in the kitchen who made DELICIOUS vegan pizzas. Full of flavour and expertly made. It’s great to see an independent venue doing so well and all of the staff clearly love working here and with one another which is also lovely to see!

Great place for a meet up with friends. Pizza was fab and the deserts were the same. Thanks to Molly also!

Just fantastic, the service, the pizzas and the desserts! We visit regularly although we don’t live in Lincoln. We have never been disappointed. This place is great for families, groups and couples looking for somewhere quite lovely with atmosphere. It’s not fine dining and there is a fairly limited menu, but what they offer they do exceptionally well. Keep it up and we shall keep coming back!

Unfortunately, I discovered this place too late! The Pizza is great, the dough is soft and light! You can find a very good selection of options, with some of them quite unusual for an Italian like me, but still very good! Also, there are a few vegan options which are much appreciated by my girlfriend! The location is very particular, with a disco ball, low lights and a tad loud music. However, it's a great place for a pizza out with friends! Since I discovered it, I'm eating here almost every week! 😉

Absolutely the best pizza in Lincoln, always really delicious and usually on time. I was a bit disappointed tonight to have been waiting an hour for my order to then have it cancelled with no explanation but this is the first time this has happened (just wish if it looked that way it had been cancelled sooner). The cheesy garlic bread is particularly amazing!

This was some of the best pizza I've ever had! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were very busy and we started off outside but they soon got us a table inside and we didn't mind the wait at all... It was so worth it!!

My girlfriend and I brought my mum here for her birthday and the food was delicious and really filling! Plenty of vegan options, and would definitely recommend the vegan pep talk! The atmosphere and decor was really nice too.

Was super busy when we went however the service was great, they were very friendly and rushed around trying to get everything done. The food is good, inside it almost looks a bit like a roller disco (disco ball, pop music, coloured lights etc). Overall a very nice place with great staff

A very fun spot to get some pizza, and the pizzas are very tasty. There is plenty of parking outside the restaurant at the top of the hill. So grab a slice and tour the Loncoln Castle for a good time!

Came at a quieter period but there was still a great atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, food was very nice but the cocktails stole the show. See you again
