For a place which is so expensive for mediocre food, I would have thought it would have been vey posh and at least the chairs would have been more comfy to sit on... The staff were very slow, the place was very tired and the atmosphere was very cold... It just reminded me of an old pub, pretending to be something its not... I would have enjoyed a Dominos at home better, and they are dear but I would have got much more for my money... Would have to have my arm twisted a lot to go again

Four of us went in here. Saturday night of Steampunk/Bank hol. weekend. Great place to go if you like pizza. LOL. Nothing to much trouble for the staff. Beautiful pizza, would recommend to anyone.

A friend and I recently ate here and had a great experience. Atmosphere was really nice with great decor. Food order taken, pizzas prepared and brought to the table in a perfectly reasonable time and tasted delicious. It took a little while to get the bill but in all fairness, the staff barely stopped. They were constantly serving people. We had a very nice evening and will definitely go back.

Out standing pizza fresh hot and tasty

First time at Dough Loco and what a great time we had! We loved the disco ball and swing music and it was the perfect setting to celebrate my Mum’s birthday. Luke and Hannah FOH were both very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu and energy - they also gave my Mum a complementary drink which was so nice! Big shout out also to Leah and Henry in the kitchen who made DELICIOUS vegan pizzas. Full of flavour and expertly made. It’s great to see an independent venue doing so well and all of the staff clearly love working here and with one another which is also lovely to see!

So far the best pica and cheese cake I ever had in Lincoln.

Just fantastic, the service, the pizzas and the desserts! We visit regularly although we don’t live in Lincoln. We have never been disappointed. This place is great for families, groups and couples looking for somewhere quite lovely with atmosphere. It’s not fine dining and there is a fairly limited menu, but what they offer they do exceptionally well. Keep it up and we shall keep coming back!

Love it, have been here lots of times and enjoyed the meals. If I had to say anything, I would say that the blue sauce could be a bit better

Unfortunately, I discovered this place too late! The Pizza is great, the dough is soft and light! You can find a very good selection of options, with some of them quite unusual for an Italian like me, but still very good! Also, there are a few vegan options which are much appreciated by my girlfriend! The location is very particular, with a disco ball, low lights and a tad loud music. However, it's a great place for a pizza out with friends! Since I discovered it, I'm eating here almost every week! 😉

Absolutely the best pizza in Lincoln, always really delicious and usually on time. I was a bit disappointed tonight to have been waiting an hour for my order to then have it cancelled with no explanation but this is the first time this has happened (just wish if it looked that way it had been cancelled sooner). The cheesy garlic bread is particularly amazing!

We had a great time, staff was super friendly and the food was great, starters and pizzas wow, we will be back in our next visit to Lincoln

Jordan was a great server. Friendly to my family and 4yo daughter. This is our most regular joint in Lincoln for a reason.

This was some of the best pizza I've ever had! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were very busy and we started off outside but they soon got us a table inside and we didn't mind the wait at all... It was so worth it!!

My girlfriend and I brought my mum here for her birthday and the food was delicious and really filling! Plenty of vegan options, and would definitely recommend the vegan pep talk! The atmosphere and decor was really nice too.

Was super busy when we went however the service was great, they were very friendly and rushed around trying to get everything done. The food is good, inside it almost looks a bit like a roller disco (disco ball, pop music, coloured lights etc). Overall a very nice place with great staff

A very fun spot to get some pizza, and the pizzas are very tasty. There is plenty of parking outside the restaurant at the top of the hill. So grab a slice and tour the Loncoln Castle for a good time!

Very busy when we arrived, Molly managed to squeeze us in and was very attentive the whole time we were there. The food and staff were amazing as always, and music and lighting created a nice fun atmosphere.

Went to The White Hart on Friday booked in advance as was busy , from walking in the door the staff was friendly .The food as always was amazing plenty to choose from the menu .would highly recommend and great value for money.

Excellent Gluten Free pizza! As advised, phoned prior to arrival to confirm we needed a GF meal. Possibly the best GF pizza we have had "Meat the Devil" with a pint, Big Cheese and Vegie Warrior - all perfect! GF puddings too. Highly recommend to other diners with restaurant located close to the castle.

We pre-ordered 10 pizzas plus sides for delivery to a hen party last weekend - the email service was great ensuring we had dietary requirements catered for - the food arrived on time, hot and absolutely delicious! Just what 21 hungry girls needed!

I wish restaurants would make crispy pizzas not soggy pizzas! I had the special which had a lot of cheese and 'Nduja sausage on it, and every time I picked up a slice the topping slid off onto the plate in an oily greasy heap. I can make better pizza at home!

Great food but service wasn't great. There was only 3 of us and it took 50 mins from being seated (booked table) to actually getting our starters with no apology or check in after being served. Pizzas did come about 20 min afterwards but wouldn't hurry back the add on service charge also put me off as we didn't receive great service yet when asked to split the bill they auto added it on and we weren't going to pay it just all felt a bit backed into a corner . I don't kind paying a service charge when you get a good service. On this occasion we sadly didnt

My wife and I booked a table for Saturday 4th May, wedding anniversary. My wife booked it on thier booking site and duly got confirmation via email. We arrived on time only to be told that they hadn't got us down on their booking list. The sheer apathy of the person was unbelievable. Sorry we were told but they couldn't help us. My wife showed him the email to confirm our booking, but still all he kept saying was he hadn't got a booking for us and he didn't have a table. So disappointed with how we were treated. He never even said would we like to book there and then for another time. Words fail me if that is how you treat customers. Shall think twice about going again. To the young man who confronted us, try getting some customer relations skills.

Ordered at 6:15. Arrived 8:45 Rang after an hour. Pizza was cooked and keeping warm. Pizza was luke warm at best. Really, really disappointed. Ridiculous wait. Complete waste of money

Used to be good, but feels like staff not interested. I've never had an issue with paying surcharge but dirty toilets, no staff interaction, pizza coveted in sauce with little meat. very very poor today. Manager needs to do better.

Came for dinner on Friday night. Went back on Saturday and Sunday. The dough is life-changing. Great service, friendly vibes. Staff were all personable and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this pizza joint. Already planning our next trip to Lincoln so we can indulge in some more. Thanks for three great meals.

I'm a pizza obsessive and have been making pizza myself for almost 20 years. Pizza is life, and simply put this is some of the best pizza I've ever had. Probably the best I've had in the UK. The crust is perfection; crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, excellent structure with a decent amount of char. Add to this the really tasty marinara sauce and top notch ingredients throughout... Seriously impressive. Although very friendly, the service was on the slow side however, and they were not particularly busy. Also the limited beer selection, despite mentioning "selection of craft beers" on the website, was very disappointing. All things considered, we will most certainly be back for more pizza.

Good pizzas. I don’t know if you’d necessarily notice they were sourdough through flavour and texture alone, but they were nice all the same. The toppings were pretty generous too. The place had a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Sort of child-friendly, although we weren’t offered or even told that there might be a kids menu when we went at 5pm on a Friday. There *is* a kids menu apparently. Was it too late? Who knows. Stupidly we didn’t think to ask, but in hindsight it feels a touch child-unfriendly that it wasn’t suggested to us for our 5 and 7 year olds even if it was 5pm on a Friday. Oh well. Prices were reasonable, with an average pizza coming in at about £12-15. A meal for a family of 4 with sides, a couple of desserts, juices a bottle of wine (and the is-it-optional tip) came in at just over £100. Like I say, it might’ve been less of someone had said there was a kids menu but… hey ho. Service overall was friendly but rather functional. The bottle of wine we had was really nice. These days it’s hard to get a bottle in a restaurant with much change out of £20 and often you get fobbed off with cheap rubbish. Our £19 organic Tempranillo however was really good, and would normally have cost £10 if you bought it online. Which seems like a not unfair markup. For a restaurant. The location was very handy for the cathedral and the tourist bits of Lincoln. Overall definitely worth a try over chain pizza restaurants. But DO ask for a kids menu if you have kids!!!

This was my first visit. What a fab place. Lots of choice of pizza toppings. The pizzas are so tasty and the desserts, particularly the waffles, are delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was great. We were served very quickly with both mains and desserts. We will definitely go back.

I went went in for some pizza and cake out joyful. Not only did I feel full of food I also felt full of new friendships. Crisp water and a wonderful personality from a young gentleman called Aidan, I think it was. Tall, brown hair and some funky shoes. This chap brightened my lunch and the pizza itself was bursting with flavour. Thanks Aidan and Dough Loco.

Really delicious food, love the 'cheeesy' pizza names and the sourdough bases, and a great range of toppings. We managed to sit outside for the first Al fresco meal this year, sun was shining! Staff also super helpful. It's tucked away but literally a stone's throw from the castle and cathedral, well worth a visit.

We had a fabulous evening here for my friends daughters 21st birthday meal. There was a lot of us, maybe more than 20, yet the service was still excellent, we weren't waiting ages for our meals, the servers were extremely attentive and polite and just generally lovely! We had a really great time, I will definitely be visiting again.
