Lovely place! We went with a fairly large group - the pizza was incredible and the wine was great! Service was spot on and the place had a great atmosphere. Wish I lived closer as I'd happily become a regular visitor!

Speak with the staff and they let me know my order will be ready in 10 min, guess what i wait 45min and it wasn't buzy at all inside

Excellent Quality pizza, staff very helpful after a disappointing lack of Green olives in the olive bowl and delivered a bowl of only green ones (win win).

Came for dinner on Friday night. Went back on Saturday and Sunday. The dough is life-changing. Great service, friendly vibes. Staff were all personable and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this pizza joint. Already planning our next trip to Lincoln so we can indulge in some more. Thanks for three great meals.

I'm a pizza obsessive and have been making pizza myself for almost 20 years. Pizza is life, and simply put this is some of the best pizza I've ever had. Probably the best I've had in the UK. The crust is perfection; crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, excellent structure with a decent amount of char. Add to this the really tasty marinara sauce and top notch ingredients throughout... Seriously impressive. Although very friendly, the service was on the slow side however, and they were not particularly busy. Also the limited beer selection, despite mentioning "selection of craft beers" on the website, was very disappointing. All things considered, we will most certainly be back for more pizza.

Good pizzas. I don’t know if you’d necessarily notice they were sourdough through flavour and texture alone, but they were nice all the same. The toppings were pretty generous too. The place had a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Sort of child-friendly, although we weren’t offered or even told that there might be a kids menu when we went at 5pm on a Friday. There *is* a kids menu apparently. Was it too late? Who knows. Stupidly we didn’t think to ask, but in hindsight it feels a touch child-unfriendly that it wasn’t suggested to us for our 5 and 7 year olds even if it was 5pm on a Friday. Oh well. Prices were reasonable, with an average pizza coming in at about £12-15. A meal for a family of 4 with sides, a couple of desserts, juices a bottle of wine (and the is-it-optional tip) came in at just over £100. Like I say, it might’ve been less of someone had said there was a kids menu but… hey ho. Service overall was friendly but rather functional. The bottle of wine we had was really nice. These days it’s hard to get a bottle in a restaurant with much change out of £20 and often you get fobbed off with cheap rubbish. Our £19 organic Tempranillo however was really good, and would normally have cost £10 if you bought it online. Which seems like a not unfair markup. For a restaurant. The location was very handy for the cathedral and the tourist bits of Lincoln. Overall definitely worth a try over chain pizza restaurants. But DO ask for a kids menu if you have kids!!!

This was my first visit. What a fab place. Lots of choice of pizza toppings. The pizzas are so tasty and the desserts, particularly the waffles, are delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was great. We were served very quickly with both mains and desserts. We will definitely go back.

I went went in for some pizza and cake out joyful. Not only did I feel full of food I also felt full of new friendships. Crisp water and a wonderful personality from a young gentleman called Aidan, I think it was. Tall, brown hair and some funky shoes. This chap brightened my lunch and the pizza itself was bursting with flavour. Thanks Aidan and Dough Loco.

Really delicious food, love the 'cheeesy' pizza names and the sourdough bases, and a great range of toppings. We managed to sit outside for the first Al fresco meal this year, sun was shining! Staff also super helpful. It's tucked away but literally a stone's throw from the castle and cathedral, well worth a visit.

We had a fabulous evening here for my friends daughters 21st birthday meal. There was a lot of us, maybe more than 20, yet the service was still excellent, we weren't waiting ages for our meals, the servers were extremely attentive and polite and just generally lovely! We had a really great time, I will definitely be visiting again.

Great food and we were well looked after by Lois. Worth every penny. The location by the castle is superb . We will return!

The pizzas are outstanding, packed with flavour and a wonderful base and crust. Nice atmosphere, different feeling to most restaurants I've been in. Music playing, and a disco ball spinning made me feel instantly relaxed. Would highly recommend.

Really poor experience on a Saturday night. Waited 45 minutes for starters, which was chicken wings and mozzarella/tomato salad. The mozzarella salad was disappointing. A weird combination of beef tomato bits and halved cherry tomatoes. See photos! Bases of pizzas were soggy. Young staff throughout regarding service and no apology/rectification of wait times. 90 minutes for a starter and main in a pizza restaurant is unacceptable. Unfortunately will not be returning.

It was just what I needed after having a bad day.

What a lovely, quirky little place. Fabulous atmosphere and the decor is awesome. We had the honey pizza and the arancina both of which were exceptional in taste, quality and presentation. The staff and the owner are both beyond lovely. The prices were spot on and we even got a complimentary limoncello shot. I hope this place does very well in the future and stays for the long haul because it is worth every penny!

I came here on a Friday with 4 teens for my son’s birthday, having booked in online. It is a really cool venue, nice interior which is informal and quirky, Kirsty handled our orders and was full of smiles and helpful throughout - excellent customer service. The menu is a nice mix of pizzas, some classics and some interesting options too. Really nice starters and a good selection of drinks. The food was great, hot and tasty and the ambience of the place was perfect. Nicely buzzing. We had a very nice time indeed!

I would ordinarily give this place 5 stars any day of the week. The food is excellent and so are the staff. My gripe is with establishments that insist on adding a service charge knowing that most people won't embarrass themselves by asking for it to be removed. I would have happily have given a good tip for the excellent service we received. This sort of thing just leaves a bitter taste in my mouth!

I'm from Chicago, a pizza famous city, for sure. I can't say enough about my entire Dough Loco experience from the service to (most importantly) the unique and delicious pizza that Del Loco serves. The owner, Matt, was on hand to run the operation firsthand, and I appreciated his respectful handling of his staff. To top it all off, my pint glass said "Chicago" on it, almost as if Dough Loco was expecting me. You can't go wrong with a coincidence like that or with Dough Loco, a pizza paradise.

The food is 5/5 stars! Couldn’t fault it. My lower star rating is down to service. We had booked a table at 7pm and as soon as we walked in we weren’t welcomed, no one said hello and to be honest it really wasn’t obvious who was working? We headed over to the bar and still no greeting? So we waited some more. One of the lads behind the bar didn’t ask if we had a table booked just pointed at some empty tables so we sat down. About five minutes later he came back over with some menus and said “ahhh are you my 7pm booking?” To which we replied yes. He took our drink order and about ten minutes later the “manager” came over and quietly apologised about the wait. It all seemed very messy and not straight forward. We just felt like a nuisance the whole time. Our drinks came to which they forgot our water, not a problem, but it wasn’t busy? I work in the hospitality industry and I just couldn’t figure out why everything took so long but there were 4 empty tables in restaurant that held about 8 tables? Is there usually more than 2 staff on? Were they understaffed? I don’t know, what I do know is the food is absolutely amazing! Hot and fresh but the service facing we received was extremely extremely poor.

Following the Lincoln Santa Fun Run and Walk about 40 of us descended on DoughLoCo. The staff were quick, efficient and polite in sorting out all our food and drink orders. When our pizzas arrived they did not disappoint - happy runners all round (and we can always find something to grumble about 😂) Great atmosphere, great food, super staff.

Really good pizza, highly recommend pep talk with some spicy oil. Cozy location which can get quite rowdy depending on other customers. Service charge added automatically to bill.

Had a great time here, the food was lovely and the place has a nice feel, you can tell that the dough is really fresh. My husband ordered a gluten free pizza and there weren't any issues catering to him, he had one of the best pizzas he's ever had! We finished off with a complimentary shot of lemoncello which was a nice touch.

Been wanting to eat here for a good while now, especially since hearing about their journey to start-up during the pandemic. Finally came this evening once completed ice sculpture trail. I didn't book but was very pleased to be given a table for me and the family despite website saying there was no availability. So glad we chose Dough Loco for our tea. The pizza was top notch, and the seating area was groovy and different from the norm of the usual pizza restaurants in Lincoln. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Lois & Ebony who looked after us during our visit. Thank you to all, a brilliant Pizza restaurant that we would definitely eat out again.

Table service was terrible. Drinks were near impossible to obtain from the grumpy waitress, who repeatedly forgot the orders. Water on the table wasn’t provided until asked multiple times. Our party had pre-ordered our food, yet meals were forgotten, which was quickly rectified. The make matters worse, the toilets were leaking from the ceiling. All in all the food was okay, but the service let it down greatly. Sadly I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend to friends and family.

First time at DoughLoco and it didn't disappoint. Visited with a group of mum friends on a soggy December evening and we were met by our two friendly servers, Jessica and Ebony. They guided us through the comprehensive pizza menu. We all settled of the festive offer which included a glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink, choice of several pizzas (we went for the brie, cranberry, bacon and chicken) and either a starter or a pudding for £21.95. The pizza was the best I've ever eaten, slightly gooey in the middle and puffed and chewy around the crust. The topping was just the right balance of cheese against the crispy bacon and sweet cranberry. I couldn't finish mine - I thought it was an ample serving for an adult, so boxed it up to take home. I just about had enough room to sample the salted caramel cheesecake, which was served with a dollop of vanilla ice cream. Absolutely delicious. We were given a complimentary glass of limencello to round off what was a delicious meal, in the funky surroundings that DoughLoco has become known for. Fab service, fab pizza, will definitely return. 👌

A very fun spot to get some pizza, and the pizzas are very tasty. There is plenty of parking outside the restaurant at the top of the hill. So grab a slice and tour the Loncoln Castle for a good time!

Wife's birthday celebration as part of an overnight stay in the old part of Lindum Colonae. Sharing platter followed by two pizzas. All really delicious. Good portion sizes (we had to have a doggy box). Best house red outside Laithwaites we've had in years. Service casual but really friendly, polite and helpful. Recommended 👍

Ate at Dough LoCo on a Saturday night and the atmosphere did not disappoint. The staff were very polite and good, the only thing I would say is that it is very cramped. We was sat against a wall but then had people squeezing between the side of our table and the back of the chairs from the table to the side of us. Other than that a great night and great food

Had a great evening celebrating my daughters 21st at the newly opened nettleham village Dough Loco the bar manager was fantastic, staff so friendly & food was amazing the best pizza & very reasonably priced, Nothing was to much trouble as there were 15 of us it was karaoke night & busy but there was plenty of staff on hand so no waiting at the bar ect.. Well worth a visit.

Dough loco is affordable both wine prices and pizza, while maintaining its high quality. Instagram counter to is kind of fun to follow and unfollow and watch it flip back and forth... yes I have no life. Update! Been going to this place for a couple years now and the pizza is still high quality some of the best in Lincoln. For a recommendation, the bomb is honestly so good!!! If you like spice get it in ya belly.

Visited on a Saturday night as a group of 4 celebrating a birthday. A couple of tables were empty but there was also a couple of large groups in, so maybe they had capped numbers because of this? Either way the atmosphere was still great....

SLOW-LOCO. Visited tonight with a group of 10. Very slow service. Took ages to take our drink order. We then saw our drinks sat on the bar for 10 minutes before being brought over. Restaurant wasn't massively busy. After drinks we waited 30 mins for someone to take our food order. It was another hour before our starters came out, then another 45 mins for our mains to come out. Some food items were unavailable, including arancini and tomato & mozzarella salad. Restaurant only had one other occupied table at this point. Service was very slow and increasingly frustrating. When the bill came they'd added on £30 service charge?! Very disappointing after we'd had positive visits in the past. Got the feeling towards the end of the night that staff were disinterested and wanted to leave. They'd even turned the music off while we were still sat there finishing our food.
