Quick, tasty, decently priced and served with a smile! I don’t ask for much - but Frankie & Bennys, Lincoln tick every box and pass with flying colours. Ok - the food isn’t sensational, but for what it is, it does superbly. Free refills on coffee and tea which you barely have to ask for as our waiter took care of us enough to ask when our cups looked empty. Perhaps the overly generous score is to combat the harsh reviews below - this is not a bad place to eat! And I come here enough to know that. I have the three egg omelette with different fillings each time to try them out!

My husband and I went here for breakfast. My husband had a full breakfast which was nicely cooked and I had the eggs benedict which was lovely. The only downside is that it was quite busy which made it quite noisy and we could hardly hear ourselves.

Dined here on Friday after waiting 45 minutes for a booked table in another restaurant.From the minute we walked in the service was excellent . they bent over backwards for us and the lady and man that served us at 9.15pm on Friday (i didnt catch there names) were a massive credit to this business and the passion for there jobs was something rarely seen these days. they were funny and chatty but not in an invasive way. They were just perfect and because of them we will be back and because of them we will recommend frankie and Bennies to everyone. I can not sing there praises enough. busy restaurant but not many staff .the food was very good and looked good to. The staff they had on were rushing around and shone like stars to make every one happy. We waited for a table as we didn't book which we we're happy with . The waitress flick knew the menu well and helped with all questions and queries. Will be back

Fabulous superheroes . We came in for lunch and was surprised to see most of the staff dressed up as superheroes.we were served by bat women.she was funny and attentive and knew the menu well. The drinks were lovely and food was great . Bat women is a polite lady and is always smiling we will be back soon .

Love the idea and style of restaurant more than the food. Think it's probably best for the party rather than meal for two and get the impression staff are on commission for adding extras.

not up to the normal f&b standards, took a long time for the food to arrive and when it did my wife's egg Benedict looked like a poor relation to the advertising photo. don't think we will be returning to this one

Having left relatively positive reviews in the past before, I have to say that I dont think I have ever been so cross as I was after this evenings visit. We took our daughters Birthday Cake in before and notes were made on the booking sheet and on the box. Then at dessert ordering time we discreetly reminded the waitress about the cake. in the 10 steps from table to kitchen she had forgotten all about it and as a result our little girl genuinely felt that she wasnt having a cake or the birthday song which is important when your 10. The Manager took an age to arrive and was then arrogant and totally didnt give a monekys. We will NEVER return to this particular branch again.

Long time since I've been but certainly wont be going back. A few of us gathered on a quiet tuesday night and on each course one person's meal was forgotten, none of us got served at the same time, so one end of the table finished theirs before the others had even been served. Food very average, nothing special, everything seemed spicy, so beware if you have sensitive taste buds. Drinks are quite expensive. Whole night very disappointing :(

First time trying Gino's, usually really enjoy Italian but I've got to say it wasn't great. I was expecting good quality Italian food but I was left feeling a bit disappointed. We began going in the front restaurant and told to go to the other door, we went there and then we're told to go to the front. We told them and they went away and came back and asked us to follow them upstairs. The server than started serving and I was slightly confused but another colleague then told us to follow him. He ran up the stairs and waited for us at the top, when we got to the top he simply pointed to the middle row and told us which table to go to. I think this really loses it's personal touch that they're too busy to take us to the table. The tables are very close together so other customers have to squeeze past when they're being seated, not very comfortable. We were trying to have conversation but the 80s pop music is far too loud so it made it quite difficult to hear one another. The food was bland and just not what I'd expected, the meat calzone had spinach and onion which I would normally enjoy but the sheer amount was disproportionate it was like a bland, boiled onion and spinach slaw with little taste. The wait staff were attentive whilst we were seated but I think that's about as good as it gets. To me it seems like it's a restaurant that would have been popular 20 years ago but it's almost had its day, the price doesn't reflect the quality of the food when you compare it to other independent Italian's in the area. It's a shame really, location is great but experience is rather underwhelming.
