Topkapi in Lincoln

I’m sorry topkapi I am really disappointed with my order on Saturday night. It was also my birthday on Saturday. The quality was not good at all, cold, hardly any meat, soggy bread, all mushed together in a small box. I love your food usually, but I am so upset with my order I won’t be ordering again. Unless you can provide me with what would be considered a much improved kebab. I spent £25 on a single mixed kebab. The chicken shish I ordered 2 days before, was absolutely delicious. 😫😫

fantastic food best kebab ive had in Lincoln for a long while.

I remember long ago food here was exceptional, sadly chips came half warm some half cooked like two lots had been thrown in the fryer at once. Pizza definitely overcooked so didn’t eat most of it, but thanks for the olives on it!. Maybe I picked the wrong day to quit glue sniffing?!. Will try again sometime with something different..Nothing to see here move along..

Got a takeaway from here last night - called restaurant as wanted to shower but didn’t want to miss food delivery. Spoke to the loveliest man ever, who I think thought I was getting impatient, and as a gesture of goodwill gave me a free salad, free pide bread, and a free drink! Got to meet him on delivery and he shook my hand too. The food was amazing, but the service of this place is really something else. Thank you for making my night!

Absolutely terrible, ordered a Gyros got a wrap, ordered a pizza got a garlic bread. Telephone number doesn’t work, Just Eat don’t care as long as they get your money. Won’t order through them again. Do yourself a favour with your hard earned cash people, go elsewhere!

Food was late, no communication from restaurant. Their phone number doesn’t ring through as it’s not an actual phone number, so there was no way to contact them. After waiting 20 minutes past delivery time, I got one message stating that it would be delivered at 23:10 rather than 21:45 like it should’ve been. When it arrived, the box was soaked through. Chips were undercooked and still slightly hard, and the rest of my food was cold and inedible. Should have just cancelled the order, was left annoyed and starving with no sorry from the restaurant.

turned up was inedible! requested replacement 45mins later no delivery they quoted the highwaycode? saying that's why couldn't get it to me in time? if can't deliver to the area they say they shouldn't say they can! owner was extremely rude will never use again. worst takeaway in Lincoln now its 8pm and still starving!

the base and the sauce off pizza were good. just lacking the amount of topings. you're lucky if you will got more than one piece of meat on slices if any at some cases

Literally the worst kebab I’ve ever had in Lincoln. I go to Topkapi regularly and it’s always been amazing. Th ‘boss’ was away tonight and they had no clue what they were doing. Pointless, terrible effort at food. Never go back after that shambles. Sooooooo sooooooo bad it was ridiculous.

If I could rate lower, believe me I would. Rude staff, poor quality food and hygiene rating should be revised. I saw them drop tin foil on the floor, roll half the way down the kitchen and they rolled it back up. Also, touching cooked food with hands. Using the same knife and chopping board for cooked food as salads. Delivery drivers walking into the kitchen making food without washing hands. Cash handling and cooking food without washing hands. Quite disgusting, Council should revisit them. Also the have halal signs up but sell alcohol? You cannot advertise as halal if everything on the menu isn’t halal, that’s misleading as some customers (online) wouldn’t be aware of what goes on in the shop. Also if you’re gonna have your Stella bottles on show, maybe wipe the grease off of them. The boss is also pretty weird. I know went in late but not everyone who goes in late is drunk. Save your money go elsewhere!

Who would have thought TopKapi would ever be dishing out decent food?!? Really really good. Forget the old TopKapi, this goooood stuff.

Delivered at the very end of the time frame, even though the update that food was with the delivery driver was at least 45mins prior to its arrival. Food was tepid. Pizza tasted great though, cheesey chips were a disappointment.

I been happy with the order but the driver trying to get some extra cash complaining it is very far. I haven't pay any extra but is not a good practice. if is away then should not accept my order.

Great place to dine in, a real authentic Turkish restaurant atmosphere. Great service and value, portion sizes are substantial.

The food took a hour to get from the high street to my place, usually only takes at the most 15 mins by car. The food was stone cold and awful. The red cabbage smelled like old socks. The delivery man was not very nice either so miserable. I Tried to phone on the number given on Just eat number unobtainable. Last time ordering from here, its gone right down hill. This is the second time the food has been cold from here.

Food is awful I don't recommend at all. Frozen pizza from Aldi is better than top kapiei also food is not fresh. I can heat up food in microwave myself not paying a lots of money to doing in this place. This place should be shut down!!!

Delivery time changed by over 40 mins and when food arrived it was cold. Food could not be reheated as had garlic mayo and salad. Very disappointed

the food was so expensive for the amount you get, i got the box meal deal. and its not a great pizza. i thought it was going to be good cus i saw the reviews saying big portions and nice food. its below average in all categories compared to other takeaways.

Got to be one of best kebabs I’ve ever eaten, I had the large mixed kebab full of fresh salad and fresh herbs that was a great addition, rice was very good so was the grilled peppers, all the meat was of good quality plus plenty of nice pita bread . Only downside was the homemade chilli sauce it was nice and tasty but had no spicy kick to it at all

The best takeaway I have had in a long time! So fresh, not greasy, I had the mixed kebab and I have never had a takeaway kebab like it! Absolutely amazing! I asked in notes to slightly change something which they did :-) I will be back thank you for an amazing meal

First time trying here. We chose some traditional Turkish dishes alongside the large mixed kebab, and other side dishes. All the dishes were fantastic, and the rice that accompanied the kebab was delicious. Portion sizes were great. The person on the phone (Musafa I think) was lovely, and so was the delivery driver. Highly recommended, and can't wait to try some more Turkish dishes very shortly.

Best kebab in Lincoln! Driver was lovely and smiley, portion size was great, chips still crispy, salad fresh and the tzatziki was delicious, halloumi portion was amazing amd obviously the meat itself was great. Will absolutely order from here again!

Had the Adana Kebab and it was delicious. There was loads in a portion and lovely rice, peppers, salad etc. made it next level kebab. I also had the baklava dessert and it was really tasty. The restaurant kept us informed on timings, saying it may be delayed, but it wasn't. We ordered a wide range of food, so expected 40 mins at least. Food was beautifully presented and delicious, a real treat. Lovely salads and dips, friendly service. Will definitely return, takeaway & restaurant🥙🇹🇷

Visited Lincoln for a few days and happened to pass this little restaurant on the way up to the town centre. Decided not to go any further and try here. We sat in to eat and So glad that we did. The owner is such a lovely man, really proud of his food and very welcoming. We both went for Pitta Gyros and a lahmacun to share. We were blown away by the food. The lahmacun was like nothing we’d ate before. We were given free sides and dips and the portions are very generous. A really lovely meal and great way to spend a birthday! We got some baklava to take away too which was great.

Just on a day visit to Lincoln, found this restaurant on Google. So HAPPY that we did. Lovely food, great portions, Even better was the staff !!! Owner Mustaf was absolutely great, so friendly. Kept coming back to check that everything was all OK, even though he was very busy with other customers. Next time in area will defo be back. Thank you Mustaf

Had chicken sheesh and cheesy chips late on a Sunday evening and it was everything we could hope for - really delicious freshly cooked food, and the nicest friendliest people serving and cooking. Would highly recommend.

First time we have been visited this place and can tell that’s absolutely beautiful food & great friendly service. We had set of starters and as main dish it was delicious lamb cofta with rice & salad. Definitely we will be back.

Found this place while on a night out with friends. Takeaway or seated restaurant option. Went in and was greeted with friendly welcome from stagg, discussed options for meal. Served with some great tasting food and excellent customer service. Will definitely visit again

This was an epic experience. We went in on the off chance only hoping for a kebab, but we were treated to a proper meal made with care by a chef who cares about their food and their customers. Despite ordering takeaway, we were allowed to eat in the restaurant side and given plates instead of boxes. Not only was the food delicious but additions such as olives and flat breads with sauces were provided, equally as tasty! The chef suggested that their eat in menu far superior to the eat out menu. They happily checked we were enjoying everything and shared some funny and heart warming stories with us. Overall , we left smiling, and we will be smiling when we return too.
