The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

We needed somewhere to eat on a Friday evening and found this Pizza Express. It was very busy and yet we managed to get a table even though we hadn't booked. There was a delay in being served as there were very few staff working in what was a full restaurant. we both had pizzas but the waiter forgot our drinks order which we had to remind them of. All in all very nice food but the restaurant was incredibly noisy for such a small place and you had to shout to be able to be heard. Good pizza a reasonable prices for London.

Rather shabby. Miserable service. Really needs a refresh.

I ordered some pizzas, very salty! I requested a delivery due to my work, given that it is not the first time that I order from other restaurants and they have always found me, I had an unpleasant discussion with the delivery man, very rude, he didn't wanted give me my pizzas because the indications that I had given in his opinion were not good, wasting my time! the salt on the pizza can be adjusted but the delivery man can change it! or it will make you lose more customers

Hi I ordered food through just eat but because it was after 12 you were closed but you still took my money of £16.98. I contacted you through PayPal but re eivex no response. Ordered a large order £100+ Food was alright apart from using a full jar of bechamel sauce on the parmo. However the let down was the staff and service. Missing items left right and centre. Shop couldn't care less and didn't want to rectify it. Luckily we ordered online so will be getting a refund. Won't be using these again for our big orders when down that way.

Wow, I was impressed with the food. We had the tasting menu and recommend it. It was the right amount of food. Shout out to Pedro for great service.

Spent £30 on desserts was told 30 mins waited over an hour and came stone cold nearly any toppings not when paid for extra toppings shops answer is I’ll send you 1 replacement waffle will be going else where in future

ABSOLUTELY LIVID!!! Ordered a take away for me and the family for my husband’s birthday got home opened the box and found this much garlic butter for my doughballs. There were many swear words that came to mind when I saw this that I can’t say on here just know I mean all of them. Just to add to this mess our pizzas were not cut properly poor little Barney ( my little rascal ) could not break his pizza up to eat it, maybe you should make your staff go over the training course on how to cut a pizza 🙄

Friendly and helpful staff. We asked if we could manage to get a table for 10, and with about fifteen minutes notice they magically produced a long table with ten seats and took care of us. Bravo!

Nothing Italian about this place the worst pizza Dough ever no flavour and under cooked the cheese was poor quality.Maybe a lesson in pizza dough making needed using quality ingredients.Cash only , service was miserable atmosphere dull felt like a pop up shop No Communications No English.Another item cheesy chips wrap went in the bin just fell to pieces was soggy.

Can't fault it. Big fan of Allpress coffee. Food was delicious and kitchen willing to adapt for dietary requirements (e.g. vegan). Rosie, our waitress, was wonderful, full of energy and recommendations. Big place, inside and out, and a nice, calm atmosphere for a Sunday morning brunch. Definitely coming back.
