We went to the Easter waffles decoration.The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring all the children had a fantastic time. Highly recommend this event for families looking to create wonderful Easter memories!
Had a good day in The Windmill Sports Bar in Tower Hill,Kirkby, lots of family and friends made day of it here.
I love the look of this bar,interior is superb, multi roomed, a cool looking serving bar, big screens to enjoy the sport, pool tables which are free to use and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in their courtyard.
We stayed here till closing time,enjoyed beers,vodka's and some whiskies, loved the time we spent in here ,its a bar easy to locate and most definitely well worth checking out if you're in Tower Hill.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, open from midday.
We visit Brixham every year and always see this place when going to The Manor but never dared to go in as we didn't feel we knew enough about wine. However this year we decided to be brave boys and go in! SO SO glad we did! We both tried mystery wine flights and were honest that we would not be able to tell the grapes or countries, just which ones we likes. The owner was exceptional, he guided us on the wines, explained why we might like some and not the others, reccomended other wines to try based on the ones we liked and at no point made us feel "stupid" for not knowing the ins and outs of wine tasting etc. He reccomended a book to us which we have already ordered. The food is fantastic, just perfect to go with a bottle of wine or two, especially the manchego! We left very happy and with a bag full of goodies from the deli section along with a bottle of wine. CANOT WAIT to go back!!!! Thank you!
A simple yet amazing Cafe / Sandwich bar that serves top notch food and fantastic coffee.
Chris’s passion for food and coffee shines through and the Chris Special is my go to sandwich of choice.
Sitting outside with the sun shining is one of my simple pleasure in life!!
Lovely local pub - everyone is really friendly. It’s great that dogs are welcome and they do weekly quizzes and monthly bingo. The live music artists have been belters!
Good venue for parties and events. Haydock park racecourse is a short 5 min walk away. Coach parties welcome.
They have a defib for the community - well done!
This was our first visit on a beautiful spring Sunday lunchtime. I had seen the menu on Facebook and I wanted to try the lasagne. Staff were friendly and service prompt. The food portions were not massive but fine and more importantly the food was well cooked and of quality. Will return.
Fantastic food, lamb madras was spot on, lamb very tender and the sauce was the best I’ve had! Masala chips and peshwari naan also great! Great pub too! Will return
The selection is great but best get your skates on if, it sells out quickly. The jams my hubby bought home were among the best we've tried and he fell in love with the marmalade.
Wild Boar Focaccia is excellent!!! Along with perfect coffee and delicious Carrot cake too! Very helpful and friendly staff. Now our go to stop whilst cycling every Sunday!
Highly recommend.
My favourite place to get cookie pies and milkshakes! Sarah is lovely and always extremely helpful! Upstairs there is a relaxing place to either sit with friends or revise!
