Had a good day in The Windmill Sports Bar in Tower Hill,Kirkby, lots of family and friends made day of it here. I love the look of this bar, interior is superb, multi roomed, a cool looking serving bar, big screens to enjoy the sport, pool tables which are free to use and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in their courtyard. We stayed here till closing time, enjoyed beers, vodka's and some whiskies, loved the time we spent in here ,its a bar easy to locate and most definitely well worth checking out if you're in Tower Hill. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday.

The Windmill is a brilliant estate pub and is the last remaining pub in Tower Hill as they had four pubs in this area of Kirkby but this is the only one left after the others ones on this estate closed. A multi-roomed pub with a pool room-area and many interesting fixtures and features relating to Everton and Liverpool and very good seating options throughout the pub's spacious interior. We visited here in the evening and this pub was very busy which is how we like pub's as theres a better atmosphere when pubs are busy and full.We were here for a few hour's and had numerous beers and spirits which were excellent and well priced. An excellent estate pub that's well worth a visit if your around this area.(This is my 2nd review of the Windmill). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-12.00-23.00. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Windermere Drive-14.

There used to be four pubs in Tower Hill ,The Tenterhook Pub ,The Pingwood ,The Farmers Arms Pub ,these are long gone but The Windmill Pub still survives ,to be honest this was my first visit to this pub in ages but I must say I really enjoyed my visit here . A really good estate pub ,the pub is multi roomed consisting of the main bar room and a pool room ,interior is lovely ,a cool looking serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options both inside and outside ,it's a nice pub to relax in. Along with a big group of family and friends we descended on the pub ,I stayed on pints of guinness and Carling lager ,service was quick and bar staff really pleasant ,me along with all our group had a wonderful time in here ,I can guarantee that I'll start visiting this pub a lot more in the future . We really enjoyed our visit in here before we moved on and as on previous visits to here we had a great time. The Windmill Sports Bar is easy to locate Summerfield . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till 11pm. Well worth seeking out if you find yourself near Tower Hill

The Windmill Sports-Bar is a brilliant estate bar on Summerfield that offer a well priced range of drink's and is worth a visit if you're in this area of Kirkby. This brilliant Sports-Bar has a well kept two roomed interior with nice decor and lots of interesting fixtures and features relating to the cities two football clubs and was the 1st time we have been here in years. We visited here mid-afternoon and it was a tad busy which surprised me as it was only Tuesday. We stayed in here for a few hour's and had a few pints of Guinness and a few pints of lager. All the drinks were superb and where really well priced. This is a great Sports-Bar that's in an area we don't go that often but it was a pleasant experience and if you're ever in this area of Kirkby give this sports-bar a try you won't be disappointed.(This is my first review of the Windmill Sports-Bar). Great food and service. The food was really fresh (it takes some time to get the mains but totally worth it). The staff is friendly. Great Asahi on tab. I visited with some colleagues after a long day of work.

We were recommended the Oriental Tea House by a friend several months ago, however, after giving it a try, we are totally addicted. The won ton soup is amazing, as is all the meals we have had so far. We used to order takeaway deliveries on occasions, but now it is a couple of times a week. Would highly recommend.
