Absolutely fabulous restaurant, food is the best, staff pleasant,could not fault anything. Don’t think I’d bother going anywhere else as this restaurant never disappoints.

The restaurant is gorgeous and the decor is so unique there is no where else in Liverpool that beats here. The food is unbelievable, myself and my partner had a lovely meal here with drinks and was very reasonably priced for how gorgeous the food was!! We can’t wait to return.

Tried to book a table online and was having difficulty so called to see if my booking had gone through then book over the phone if it hadn't. After a short exchange where it was confirmed it hadn't gone through I asked if I could book with the guy on the phone. What then followed was what i can only call an interrogation as to what i had done and essentially my bank was blamed as well as me. After a few minutes of this I told the man on the phone to not worry about it as I will go somewhere else and I hung up rather frustrated. This should have been the end however less than a minute later I get a call back from the man who admitted he was the owner and shouted at me down the phone saying that he is on the computer trying to find the booking for me and said I was out of order as well as swearing at me more than once. All I could say was 'wow' and laugh in disbelief. I told him that I couldn't believe he had called me back and done this and his reply was to hang up on me.... wow...

Food was ok can’t complain. But the women who severed us was horrible she had a black top on the young girl was nice but the older women was absolutely horrible. Many of said this. Food again was ok. She was absolutely horrible I repeat horrible. Yes I said it. HORRIBLE! Only was nice when she got the money for the bill and we waited 25 minutes for plaits to be collected so myself and my girlfriend tidied up ourselves and asked the women to take plates away to the kitchen. If you are wanting to come here the food actually was ok and I’d like to go back and try more of the menu as it’s really interesting. But please keep that women away from the restaurant. Thank you.

Read a lot of great things about this place so decided to give it a go. While the meats were absolutely superb, a few things were a bit disappointing. There were several items on the menu that either weren't available on the day, or they simply don't have anymore, so us looking at the menu beforehand so we could order right away was a bit of a waste of time, 3 things were not available. The chips/fries were terrible, and i mean absolutely terrible, Wetherspoons style chips that were clearly not specially salted or cooked more than once, that was a big disappointment considering i ordered extra portions. It is also a very very small venue, you are tightly packed into small booths, which is fine, but they have a bar at the back, and everyone who wants to go in and out of the bar, they pass through the restaurant side, rather than the fast food side, which meant constant traffic through most of my visit. The staff were ok, very polite but missed an item and also added on a sauce that wasn't asked for onto the bill, also said they couldn't swap an item so i asked them to keep the original item with my meal, that was missed, i'm not one to complain as i know these staff have a tough job, especially when we were there and someone complained about everything.

Best steak in Liverpool, we only had mains, T-bone and fillet steak cooked to perfection. Can’t fault this place, it my go to spot amazing food and friendly staff what more can you ask for.. will be back again 💕💙👌🏼

Great little restaurant. Food delicious, reasonably priced. We had the snug area for 4 of us and it was private and cosy. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I got the chorizo and egg skillet to start and the stick Asian chicken for my meal. Both amazing! Spent £40 each for a starter, main and 2 drinks each. Would recommend.

Unfortunately a very poor experience. On arrival we were told that we didn't have a reservation, when we showed the confirmation email we were told again that we didn’t have a reservation. As it transpired the staff hadn’t refreshed the screen, we were then pointed to our table. Following this we waited half an hour to be asked if we would like drinks or to be given a food menu. After we’d ordered drinks we were then told what was not available, which was most of the ‘favourites’ of the menu. We asked for our bill without ordering food, when we politely tried to suggest that we should have been informed that the restaurant was offering a limited menu before ordering our drinks we were told by the waitress that “I’m only sixteen and the other waitress is only nineteen so we dont have anything to do with that.” We very much appreciate the sentiment, young staff should always be supported, and unfortunately it seemed there was no assistance for them.

Here with two friends for dinner. It was a Wednesday night, and a first visit for all of us. Decor-wise, I'd seen this was quite a point of contention in various reviews, but the private booths, and low lighting I really liked. On arrival we were greeted warmly, and the service good the whole evening. To start, I went with the chorizo, and (duck) egg skillet. Which also has herb potatoes, and black pudding. For mains, beef short ribs, with creamy peppery cabbage, mash potato, and a bbq, roast pepper sauce. And for pud, their take on a dessert with the flavours of a black forest gateau. All the food was lovely, and beautifully presented. To drink, I had a V&T as an aperitif, and then we split a couple of bottles of a rather nice rosé, before finishing with tea/coffee. All in all an excellent evening. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, drink, and agreed its a place we will definitely revisit. I'd have no qualms recommending this ressy to anyone.

Booked in for tea and was blown away by how good this place is, very cosy atmosphere, great staff, the food was exceptionally good and the price was a nice surprise as well. Cannot recommend this place enough and will make this a regular place for me

Wonderful food. We have eaten here a few times now and every time the food has been fantastic. Proper Italian garlic bread and T-bone steak are great, however it is their duck fries that keep us coming back each time. Well recommended.

Beautiful little gastro pub. Great for intimate evening for two. Attention to details and gorgeous decor. Food was amazing. Remember to book a table, as the place is really small and usually fully booked.

We ordered a takeaway from here on 12/7/24 and it was absolutely lovely! We got the salt and pepper honey chicken with chips, a garlic bread with cheese and few other items. The chicken was absolutely amazing! So fresh and Full of so much flavour . I would definitely recommend if you haven’t tried here. I’d love to sit in next time. We will be back! 😍

Our second visit to this excellent restaurant. We make the trip from the Lake District especially to visit. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, which was nicely acknowledged by the team. Front of house not quite as attentive this time, but still good service, Fabulous food……amazingly fresh cocktails and great wine. Very reasonable prices. We will be back again.

Loved everything about the experience here. Lovely cozy private dining room with attentive staff. We were there for birthday celebrations and it was the attention to detail displayed by the staff for me. Got a birthday card and mini birthday dessert, food was just right on the money with flavours and tenderness. Mushroom dish was a bit on the dry side but everything else was perfect. I plan on visiting again!

Both service and food amazing. Couldn't fault it! Will definitely be going back in the very near future. Had a lovely experience there for my 50th, with close family and friends. A happy birthday message was put on a tv screen for me throughout the meal, and I was also given a hand written birthday card from the restaurant team! Personal touches like this go a long way. Tony & Donna are fabulous people I have known them for many years. I have watched their journey to creating this beautiful experience that is Antonio's restaurant. The passion is evident throughout Antoinios from the minute you arrive, all through your stay to when you leave. We all had a different 1st course and different meals from the grill, all the food was awesome as it always is, We look forward to our next visit. Last evening was very special for us, thank you Tony, Donna and staff for a most memorable evening one I will always treasure. Xx

Excellent service, sorry I never got the young girls name. Phenomenal food. Yes I ate meat on Good Friday and it was totally worth it. All Meat is salt moss aged and sourced from Northern Ireland. You can totally taste this difference. It’s dangerous how good this place is, I took too long to give Antonio’s a go and now I may just become a regular which my bank account won’t thank me for. Interior decor is stunning also. This small local restaurant is next level and is now no surprise to me why it does so well. Great staff, food and the afternoon beers just added that final touch of class. See you all soon

What a beautiful place! The atmosphere is excellent here, especially on first entry. We were in the narrow area, where the tables are in booths, set out for 2 people. Very romantic, yes? There is also a larger area for larger groups, but not above 10 to a booking, so no large parties here. Although it says bar and grille, honestly there's only room for a couple at the bar, and you'll be in the way. But there's a pub over the road if you want to drink before/after eating anyway.

We Ordered here for the first time tonight , wow all I can say is excellent!!!!!! I have to say it was the best take away we have ordered in a long time , the quality of food was excellent, it was piping hot on delivery. With delivery on time , the delivery man was so friendly when delivering . Customer service was excellent , with excellent communication. I highly recommend this take away for a high standard, quality food , will definitely be ordering again . Thankyou to all the staff for making our first experience one to remember, we will back ordering soon !!!!!!!!!!

Mother's Day treat. This is my third visit here, and brought my Mum as a Mothers Day treat. Friendly welcome, as always, staff are very attentive. We had coffee to start with, which was served on a lovely tray in beautiful crockery, and was lovely. Main course was the burger for me, and the sticky Asian chicken fory. Mum. Both arrived piping got, and we're very tasty, and very generous portions Dessert menu is amazing, we wanted one if everything 😂 Definitely won't be our last visit, if you want friendly service I. A quirky, cosy, laid-back setting, the wait is worth it for the excellent quality food.

There are 2 parts to this establishment. Ended up visiting both parts. The restaraunt being the main venue. Walking in you are met with staff, ready to seat you. Menu's clear and a good choice of meals and drinks. The quality of the food was simply sublime. Each meal cooked to our preference and perfection. Stunning starters also. Staff wait on you constantly and provide sauces and extra condiments as you request them. Be prepared, its not the cheapest you will have. But, you are getting what you pay for here which is very very good quality. Limited space here and the booths are cosy. Elbow room at a premium. Real good experience.

Because of the name, expected more Mediterranean meals on the menu. Waited a long time between starter and main meal. My wife’s meal of chicken breast and chips was not very warm. Prawn linguini very like a carbonara but nothing to get excited about. Sorry nice place but not planning a rerun visit.

Went here as a couple, nice looking place. Starters, 1 bruschette and salt and pepper tempura prawn, great could not fault. 1 main salt pepper chicken with rice, again great my partner was happy. My main 13 oz ribeye, triple cooked chips veg with peppercorn sauce. Veg an chips were hot, the steak was bearly luke warm and let the meal down. I ate the steak as quickly as i could before it got any colder. I was expecting this to be better as steak looks to be a speciality here. As the majority was good i have give a 3 star not a 1. Yes we probably would come back but probably not get thee steak next time.

The decor is stunning! So cosy inside. We sat in the top room and it was amazing! Own tele and control of air con! Service was amazing the girls were amazing and interacted with our table boss! Had a good laugh with the staff. The food was unreal, the steaks cooked perfectly! Would definitely come again!

We went to Antonio's for their Valentine's Day package. So glad I chose his venue to propose to my girlfriend, the atmosphere, food and customer service was outstanding. I had a T-bone which was cooked to perfection. Thank you to all at Antonio's for such a memorable night and going over and above to make our night special.

We visited Antonio's for the first time this weekend, and we will definitely be returning. We dined in a private room, which was prefect for eating out with children, they could stretch their legs without disturbing others. We were spoilt for choice and had difficulty deciding what to eat, particularly when it came to desserts! Absolutely everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We could not fault anything. Service was also perfect, our waitress was friendly and thoughtful, asking if we wanted the children's meals to arrive first. I weren't rushed and left very happy customers.

First time visiting and will definitely be visiting again. The venue is beautiful. It’s a small venue but I think this is a bonus as it lovely and cosy. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!! My partner had the steak which was cooked perfectly. I had Salt & Pepper Chicken which was amazing. My son had the children’s bbq chicken and it’s the first time he’s ever finished a meal, he loved it. It’s a very popular venue as every table was taken which is a good sign. Have already recommended to family and friends. Definitely will be telling everyone to visit

Table for two, booked for 17.40, starters arrived 18.26 (photo timed) 20 minutes after finishing meal we were asked if we’d like desserts - we said yes, looked forward to seeing the menu, then told sorry the table is due back! This was at 19.20! I expect this post will be met with a defensive response but honestly, I expected better from this place. Unbelievable. Waitress was pleasant, meals nice but I honestly have never been asked for the table back anywhere! We had one bottle of wine - not like we sat there drinking for an hour after we’d finished our mains. This rating is based solely on the fact that we have just been refused desserts and in my view this turned an overall good experience into a bad one.

Maybe we got a bad night, all I can say is the service was terrible, everything we asked for seemed too much trouble bottle of wine was actually banged on the table. Only had the table for 2 hours and waited nearly an hour for main course. When it did arrive, it wasnt as expected, as I said maybe picked a bad night, just a waste of £90 . Will not be returning

Fabulous venue with superb service and amazing food. The Salt and Pepper Squid was delicious. The fillet and T Bone steaks were fantastic. We definitely be returning.

Lovely food. Has a lovely T Bone. Very nice attentive staff - nothing too much trouble. For tables of four expect the table to be snug, not because of being crammed in just because it’s a small restaurant and tables have to be so. Didn’t detract from evening - it is what it is.

First visit despite living within a ten minute walk. Just never got round to going before. Annoyed with myself for not coming sooner. The food was fantastic, priced well, and the service was great too. Definitely coming back soon. Very happy to have a place like this so close to home. Highly recommended.

Went for my partners birthday, friendly welcome on arrival, shown to our table, drinks straight away. Food was absolutely delicious, best place we have been to. This was our 3rd visit and never been disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic from A-Z! We had a fabulous anniversary meal there and we loved the food. Only thing I can suggest if you are on the bigger side waist wise you might struggle in booths although I'm sure staff will find alternative seating for you. Just to say it was the best fillet steak I've ever had 😍 we will be back!!!

Sorry folks, This had the potential to be the talk of the town, but ended up being the talk of the table. Keeping it brief, the food was very well presented and had very pleasantly surprising flavours but value for money was about 15% out. The atmosphere is lovely. Nice, eclectic decor but still cosy. The service is what let this night down. We were in the restaurant from 7:40 until 11, and unfortunately this was down to the rhythm of service. Everything took so long, from giving the menus to serving drinks... And when the mains finally came, 2 very expensive steaks were just cold. I always find speed of service should never be the elephant in the room. If Ur running behind, approach and explain, apologise and ask if people want more drinks. Nothing worse than waiting for food with an empty glass. I only gave 4/5 for food as the price was deffo a bit high for the quality. Will try the place again, please when u read this... Use it for feedback, not as criticism from a keyboard warrior. Thanks

Staff and food excellent, seating a bit snug unless your slim. Music was a bit intrusive for conversation, we asked for the volume to be lowered which it was but went up again not long after.

Went for my daughters birthday 8 dec 3rd time here we were showed to a gorgeous private upstairs table for 5 decorations were beautiful and was a nice surprise starters were delicious pate was excellent with salad chutney and toast all our mains were delicious lamb chops steak fish and chips and curry excellent staff were lovely friendly service was quick and it is a pleasure to come here staff very freindly thank you for a great night claire baines kirkby

Some of the worst takeaway food I’ve ever had. Pizza was freezing cold on arrival. Steak in the wrap was so burnt, chewy and cheep it wasn’t even edible and the salt and pepper chips were like wet soggy cardboard. So disappointing

Came here for Birthday dinner 18th Nov. Cute little quirky place. Individual booths nicely decorated for Christmas. A little cold and noisy as only floor boards not carpet but comfy seats. Staff friendly & chatty. Loved the toilet so I wont say anything more don't want to spoil the experience. Food excellent! well present, hot and sufficient sizes, desserts a must go for the Secret Garden, once again no spoilers. Only draw back, very very limited variety of beers and small selection of wines, but if you are into spirits enjoy. Definatley recommed and would love to return.

Oh my God, what a find.....the food was amazing. we had steaks and Sea Bass and they were exceptional, the steak in particular was so tasty & succulent 👌 The service was so warm and friendly as well, I cant wait to return

Me and my partner came here a couple weeks back for his 21st Birthday Meal, the service, food and atmosphere was a 11/10, we had a whole room upstairs to ourselves with a TV with Netflix, YouTube etc… The food was absolutely delicious and the young lad and lady who served us for the night was amazing too, couldn’t fault these guys even if I tried. Me and my partner come here for our Anniversary, Birthday and Valentines meals and it’s always amazing! Definitely worth a visit and we sure will be back again in the future!

We have been to Antonio’s numerous times, but after recently just returning and enjoying the most amazing steak that was cooked to perfection I had to leave a review. This place is a hidden gem that you have to experience! The vibe at Antonio’s is second to none, staff are friendly always going above and beyond to accommodate us and all customers, the food is amazing with so much choice on the menu there is something for everyone! Portions are of a decent size with great value for money. The decor is so unique which makes it even more special with such a great atmosphere all round. We honestly prefer a night at Antonio’s than traveling into town - it’s local to us and we appreciate its beauty on our door step however even if it weren’t it would be worth travelling to for sure.
