The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

This is an awesome restaurant with delicious fresh food and great wines even the house wine. The waiter is hilarious and you get a performance every time you go 👍

Classic Italian restaurant in a lovely setting. A la carte or set menu you a good range of dishes to choose from. Set menu is good value. Mussel starter, lasagne, calves liver and fish special mains good. Minestrone soup unbalanced with too many carrots. Mushroom risotto needed more seasoning. Staff welcoming and attentive bit a little subdued. Good venue to catch up with friends as we're not rushed. Would dine again.

Brilliant food we got today, my boyfriend had a sardine pizza and I got the spaghetti alla signore that the prawn is so fresh and well-seasoned. Definitely will be back when we are in town : )

I've finally given up on this restaurant. It's such a shame. The food is excellent but the service is very poor. It's very unpleasant to be ignored, which has happened several times. For example, I have waited at a table, watching others who have entered after me be served first. It doesn't take much - just bring a menu over and then come by with a query about drinks with an apology that "we're very busy." Instead, I've been ignored as if invisible. It's like the Fawlty Towers of restaurants.

Wonderful place to go, nothing too much trouble. Food excellent 👌 if you go you will not be disappointed

Absolutely outstanding service. Some of the best service I’ve had on my dozen trips to the UK. Great food too. The risotto was amazing. They also gave nice fresh bread at the beginning. Lovely spot in the town.

I had dinner with family and friends for several evenings, I tried different dishes, appetizers, first courses, second courses and pizzas, everything was really good, I recommend the Bolognese ragù, with the pizza it seems to be in Italy and then there are the brothers and all the wonderful staff. If I were to return to Watford I will definitely stop by.
