The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

It was a lovely meal. We had chorizo and chicken skewers for starters and salads with three toppings of our choose and grief chicken thigh dish with salad, fries and vegetable. Everything was delicious and yes you had to wait a bit for a food to be served but it's been done from scratch so it takes a time. Worth waiting for. I wanted to mention a lovely staff too, Plum and Luis and Amazing Julia who was helping preparing food and Fabbio ofcourse. All of you went extra mile to make our meal special. Thank you so much. Mama's Way provided catering for a party at our home in May. We asked for a vegetarian menu, which they delivered and helped set up to serve. The food was wonderful, with compliments from our guests, including Italians. We have had good takeaways from them, but this food exceeded our expectations. We will use them again!

Amazing little find. We stumbled across this place last week while out for a wander and had breakfast (which was really good). We spoke with the chef and found out he was from napoli so just knew we had to come back to get a pizza and we booked for an evening meal. These were some of the best pizzas we have ever had. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food was beautiful. It’s easy to miss this place but it’s a real hidden gem and we would highly recommend. We will 100% be back. Thankyou :)

¡Sólo delicioso! Muy raro que encuentre un auténtico restaurante italiano a este nivel. El personal era encantador y la comida era increíble. Absolutamente nada que culpar. Nos fuimos con platos vacíos y la barriga llena.

We were visiting Windsor Castle with a bus tour and had limited time for lunch prior to leaving. We decided to eat here and ordered a Banana Nutella Crepe, which was very good.

Extremely unhelpful staff. Ordered Foccicia and turned up at their shop to collect it, but they had moved location to a completely different town miles away, without updating this online. A wasted journey from Cheltenham. So, I decided to give them another chance the following week. Made numerous phone calls to order it but nobody answered. I was never told i could have ordered it online, I was told to call. So I sent a text to ensure it was ordered. When I turned up they had no foccacia as they said they were short of staff, yet we saw numerous staff. Then they said they had a powercut the previous day. Yet I saw them taking freshly cooked trays out the oven when we were there. Being from Sicily we were really looking forward to taking our friends for there for lunch, yet as they had no lunch food left apart from cakes, we ended up eating a tesco sandwich. unprofessional to have their details out of date online and the way the manager dealt with us was really disappointing. The other server had no idea of customer service and was clueless about how to treat customers. Her attitude was terrible. When we asked for a menu we were told to just look at the couner and we can see for ourselves. We spoke with the sicilian chef before, and he was a great guy so we wanted to support his business. His staff are letting him down.

Very friendly and service minded staff. Not to many vegan food options, but staff prepared to make things and get you food options. Great place for meeting locals and creatives and love the exhibitions they support. Near the Finnish and Norwegian churches in London.

Thee Lucifer Sams are a hungry band and we take our epicurean adventures seriously. When a rehearsal gets cancelled for whatever reasons, we need to substitute that with food and drink. Though Al Dente has a pleasant vibe and friendly staff, our choice of food was very disappointing - a veggie pizza that looked no better than a Ristorante one you find in freezers all over the land - from the most drab cornershop to the biggest Tesco. We were hungry. We ate it. But a restaurant could and should offer something better!

The food was amazing no doubt but the service was awful! The waitress took the drinks order and came back twice and still needed to check. I waited a further 15 minutes for my drink. We then waited almost 30 minutes for the staff to come back and take our order. We were told that there was no pita bread, my frown ordered a diet lemonade only to be told later it wasn’t diet after drinking. The margarita had something fizzy in and didn’t taste like a margarita, but having waited ages for. Like I said the food was lovely. We were still eating our starters when they bright the mains out but the table hadn’t been cleared so had to fumble around to make room. Then had to wait for new cutlery. We wanted to order coffees at the end it to be told that there was none. The waiter brought over Tequila shots as an apology for the coffee but there was no lime or salt to go with the shots. Again the food in general was amazing but there was a huge lack of organisation.No loo roll in the loo and it wasn’t busy so we didn’t really get why the service was long it was.

What a gem! Having driven by this place a number of times, I finally had an opportunity to pop in this Saturday afternoon. A friendly, welcoming place full of happy dogs, happy people and tasty home cooked food.

Aunque la señalización aún está activa, Tomatinos ahora es parte del bar de tapas de al lado. Extremadamente confusas, puertas separadas, pero cuando te acercas a lo que se anuncia como Tomatinos, dice ¡entra por la otra puerta, que es el restaurante de tapas! Una vez dentro te dan 2 menús. Uno es pizza y otro tapas. Servicio lento y confuso, pedimos vino pero no lo tenían, ya que parece que no están reordenando nada en el menú de bebidas de Tomatinos, sino usando el caldo de las tapas. Todo fue un poco impredecible. El horno de leña para pizzas está en el lado ahora vacío del restaurante, así que nos decepcionó. Cuando llegaron las pizzas, sorprendentemente rápido teniendo en cuenta el tiempo que nos llevó tomar nuestro pedido y que llegara el vino, estaban muy buenas. Base fina y crujiente, mi tipo favorito y muy generosamente rematado. Se sentía caótico, pero ahora sabemos qué esperar, volveríamos ya que las pizzas estaban buenas.

Three of us turned up om a saturday evening without a booking. The restaurant was very busy but they made us very welcome. After a short wait when coffee had been served to us a table was made available. Food order taken. More drinks and the most amazing food. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We have been several times since and will continue. There is no parking but there are car parks in the vicinity

Although name has changed, this bakery is perfect for some 'start your day' brekky! From pastries to fry ups this bakery has it all..and whilst your there you can buy lunch too from different pasta choices to rolls with numerous fillings to choose from!

Ha bajado cuesta abajo muy rápido, no es de extrañar que siempre esté vacío ahora. Traje un par de hamburguesas, sabroso e insípido. Encontré una grapa (sí las que usan para grapar allí bolsas de papel y recibo también). Llamé para hacerles saber que estuvieran más atentos (declarado que no quería nada, solo hacerle saber). Tuve un personal extremadamente grosero (adivinando uno de esos limpiadores) me dijo que no es posible y luego cortar la línea. ¿Cómo puede ser que no sea posible cuando grapas claramente las bolsas en la misma área en la que cocinas los alimentos? No puedo ver el negocio durar mucho tiempo, mejor calidad de la comida en la zona

Popped in on 24/11/24 for Sunday lunch. We walked in at 1pm on the off chance of their being a table available. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and looked after wonderfully by Fiorinda and the team. Perfect level of attentiveness from the waitress (apologies I've forgotten her name. Slim, young, dark hair, beaming smile) without being over the top. We opted for the Mixed Sunday platter for two and a wonderful array of meats and veg arrived on our table. We finished the meal with a lovely Tiramisu Tort and Chocolate Cake and a nice punchy coffee. Lovely food, and charming atmosphere. I would highly recommend it.
