Very nice place to visit for a special occasion there were a number of birthdays there the evening we went. It's expensive for your Xmas dinner even though we really did enjoy it. Would definitely go there again.

VERY disappointing at best! Waiter got the order wrong & the chef went mad when we brought it up politely so ended with a dish I didn’t want because he was so nasty over it. One person was served Mussels that were closed luckily she knows not to eat closed ones but not everyone does! The Arincini didn’t have any flavour at all which was a shame a bit of simple seasoning would have helped a bit. Really disappointed & not a nice experience the chef there needs to learn that sometimes waiters make mistakes & there’s no need to start mouthing off & staring at Customers it wasn’t even our fault.

We went to the Restaurant Kurdina for our Sunday meal. We had garlic bread with cheese starter it was hot and the tastiest we have had for a long time. I had sea food Linguine wow it is the best I have ever tasted and full of sea food. My wife had Spaghetti Bolognese which was very tasty with extra sauce. The restaurant is warm and clean and looks 5 star. Staff are friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced. It is well worth a visit

A mate and I popped in on our way back to the hotel after a night drinking. Looked like they were about to close but they were happy to stay open and serve us. I had the Calzone that was very good. Would recommend this place.

9 of us had a family meal 30/08 and have to say it was the nicest meal I’ve had in a restaurant for a long time, the food was outstanding and service excellent. We ordered a wide variety of meals if the menu with all but one having a starter and all having a main with 5 having desserts so plenty of different meals with not one complaint. Sorry no photos too busy enjoying the food. The place was spotless and very surprised to find out it has been here for 6 years as it looked brand new inside.

Used to be outstanding but last week was a total disaster! Not sure what's happened but we were served rotten meat - we ordered two steaks. Sent them back and were offered apologies plus replacements, one of which was sea bass which had also gone off, so was sent back. Such a shame though because before this, we rated food and service 5/5. Hope it's just an unfortunate glitch for the team that day.

Always go to this restaurant and always very good.but went last week it was not good.steak very small and price have gone up.

Ate here whilst visiting my parents with our children, service and food was excellent and not too expensive, children’s portions generous- would recommend

Had a lovely evening after a last minute decision to eat out and chose Kurdina. Despite being busy, and us having no booking, the staff quickly separated off a table and seated us. Good choice on the menu. We started with garlic bread to share followed by lasagna and the salmon steak. Both were excellent and we finished off with the vanilla cheesecake which was just divine. The restaurant was immaculate and there was a great atmosphere with families and birthday parties happening. A good mix of casual and formal diners so go in jeans or wear a dress, neither is out of place. Total cost was just £60 which included a bottle of wine.

Been a few times with my family, and the service and food has always been fantastic.

We have, as a family, had so many great meals in here over the years that I feel mean putting a bad review up this time. The staff as always were lovely but unfortunately the food was very disappointing this time. We ordered food we have had before. Calamari was fine but husband's prawn starter was swamped in a thick tomato sauce, so much so you couldn't actually taste the few prawns in the dish. Our mains of seafood risotto we had had on our last visit and we had been so impressed we couldn't wait to have it again, but again there seemed to have been an addition of some sort of tomato based stock because certainly didn't taste of fish stock. Was perfectly edible but disappointing in the amount of actual seafood in the dish. Finally our shared tiramisu was by far the worst I've ever had, dry sponge (no sign of them having been soaked in coffee or liquor!) Certainly no discernible coffee flavour at all. We understand times are difficult and prices getting silly but if we had been given the option of a better quality risotto (one with more seafood!) we would have paid more but not sure what was going on with the tiramisu. Sadly we will probably not be back for while. We did complain on the day. Very strangely we were the only people in there too! Never seen that before. Hopefully only a blip

Asked for extra cheese on my burger as wasn't having any bun, chips or onion rings but didn't get it. Staff friendly though. Very quiet lunchtime

We had not been to Kardina bar & restaurant we had not been for some time. We went Sunday it was full we got a table and thought we would have to wait a while got our bottle of Prosecco straight away the atmosphere was fantastic the food came quickly and was really good. The staff were the best I have seen there well worth a visit. Well done Kardina the hard work has paid off

Enjoyed another family meal for Valentine's Day. Great food and service. Kurdina always caters for Valentine's Day in style, with roses on every table and a relaxed atmosphere. There is generally a good mix of families and couples, so perfect if you're celebrating the occasion in a group. Well done everyone. We'll be back soon.

Great food, amazing service, can't wait 2 go back again

Small bijou Italian style restaurant. Menu was compact but varied. Lacked Italian style atmosphere inside. Modern not traditional. Fresh products evident. Service was very good. Prices comparable to current post covid market being increased from last visit. Handy for quick visit though and plenty of varied bars nearby.

Lovely food tonight. Staff really helpful and the food was really nice We had the garlic bread to start and different pastas. All really tasty and decent prices. Will be back soon.

Had lots of meals here and always delicious no matter what I have ordered. The sea bass is amazing. Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Can't find better anywhere else. The service is excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Nice restaurant with pretty good Italian food albeit nothing special about the cuisine. A definite 'safe' option for a good meal out with friends or family. However, if you are going to open an 'Italian' restaurant and you're not from Italy, it may be worthwhile looking up some of the cultural imperatives; not knowing what a Negroni is when I ordered one was definitely a negative. Still worth a visit for a local though.

We ate here recently but have chosen Kurdina many times in the past for family celebrations. On this occasion we opted for the seafood risotto and were amazed how very good it was as risotto is notoriously difficult to get right but this was spot on, the right combination of seafood to rice and lovely and creamy and tasty. Well done Kurdina

Fantastic afternoon for pre Christmas lunch organised by CAMEO group Remona and all the staff are just fabulous and friendly.

Rang for a table, having enjoyed a Christmas film in town. Good festive atmosphere in the restaurant. We enjoyed hearty pizzas and pasta, plus cheese garlic bread (perfect for sharing), coffee and ice-cream. Great service and a warm welcome, perfect on a cold winter's night. Looking forward to our next visit, having booked again before we left. Good quality on the doorstep.

Had a lovely meal here last night . Can’t fault the service or the quality of food at all . Creamy wild mushrooms on sourdough were amazing and my main cause of sea bass with potatoes and vegetables was delicious. The Sauvignon blanc was a decent quality as well .

Restaurant itself is clean and pleasant, cafe style rather than fancy. The wine is very poor quality and at almost £22 a bottle, not cheap. I sent the bottle back because it was undrinkable. The waitress tasted it and agreed. However she was reluctant to change and said we’d have to have three glasses of house wine to replace it. And pay the same. I was too tired to argue. Food was little better - my fish dish was so salty I left most of it, but by then we just wanted to just eat something and leave. Service was bad too. Would never visit again

Was okay but they started cleaning before people had left the restaurant. It smelt of paraffin or similar to. Was really off-putting.

Been there a few times with my wife who is a fussy eater she enjoyed her meal and left none on her plate each time regardless of what other people have said we had one delay to which the staff and manager where most apologetic and I would never give a bad review over one incident

Wow the waitress was stoned off her head , took drinks orders and then waited 20 mins for the drinks , then ordered food which for what they charge I would have rather gone to town , won’t be going back anytime soon !

We had the lunchtime 2 course deal which is great value for money. Good portion sizes and tasty food but what really impressed us and made sure we’ll come back was our fantastic waitress Ella. She made sure everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble, lovely friendly service, thank you Ella!

Four years ago, I was happy to write a great review of this place. We've been back - with our two lads - twice since then, and we've not needed to add anything to my previous review. Great steaks, lovely pasta, good atmosphere, pleasant staff on each of these occasions - all well, repeat custom guaranteed. Until tonight. Needing a good treat after another difficult time (the weekend of the great water main burst, and no running water for the last 40 hours), we decided to pile down to the Kurdina for a guaranteed great meal and a pause from the difficulties of everyday life. I booked a table online, and waited for the confirmation call/email as promised on the website. Nothing came through at all, so I called 15 minutes before the reservation was due - no problem at all, come on in (it would have been nice to have been contacted, but never mind). The first difficulty arose with what was going on in the restaurant from the off. One table in the centre of the restaurant was occupied by a single dad and two little ones of under 2 years, who caused the loudest racket I have ever experienced in any eatery in my life, banging on the tables with cutlery, screaming at top volume (in a very echoey room to start off with), and even being abandoned at one point by the dad to go and smoke a cigarette at the front door, leaving his little ones to continue making a din loud enough to take the plaster off the walls. Believe me, I do sympathise, having had enough experience of having to remove one of my own children at a similar age from a restaurant when they were disrupting the other diners. On this occasion, knowing that I was going to spend a considerable amount on a meal for four as a treat, the ambience was shattered. I understand that Just Eat/Deliveroo deliveries have been started by this place as well, and having the delivery guys lurking by your table when you're trying to order doesn't half put you off. You expect it in McDonalds or KFC, but it wrecks the feel of a place which is trying to be a cut-above. The waitress was pleasant and patient, giving us plenty of time to make our choices (and develop our noise-induced headaches further). We chose - having tried lots of things on the menu before - three rib-eye steaks, medium-rare, and a Linguine con Gamberi. We sat back, trying to find some amusement in the level of racket that was now reaching shrieking pitch in the restaurant. The manageress tried valiently to quieten down the little ones momentarily, and for this I thank her. Then the food came. The Linguini was already a tried-and-tested choice, and proved as good as ever. Polished off completely by my eldest lad. Three steaks arrived, of variable medium-rare level (some bits very rare, some bits well-done), and I've got to be honest - they were rotten. Two were horribly gristly, and one was tough, which takes some doing with medium-rare steak. The presentation was great - garlic Portobello mushroom, vine tomatoes, good fries, great sauce - but that doesn't count for much when the main part of the meal isn't any good. The shrieking from the other table didn't help easy digestion, either, causing my wife to choke at one point. We voiced our disappointment to the waitress, who passed our comments on to the manageress. Complimentary drinks were offered, but when you've come in for food, that's the last thing you need. The bill came to £89.90. No offer of a reduction for, quoting my wife, 'the worst meal I've ever been out for'. We went home to eat something else. From what the Kurdina has been capable of in the past, a massive, expensive disappointment. Won't be returning.

Booked a table over three weeks ago paying a deposit of £40 on arriving we where given a table that wasn’t setup. Returned two starters because the pawns where uncooked . We where then asked to move to other table because a large party had arrived. The main course was poor, we left most of it. On complaining to the manager he wasn’t interested. Never go there again

Stunning food, full of flavour, a seafood linguine and a carbonnara. The calamari in the linguine was so soft, cook to perfection. 2 meals, large wine, a pint of beer and glass of lemonade for just over 30 pound. Spot on.

Absolutely appalling service, far too long to wait for food, even though pretty ordered. Asked once if we wanted drinks!! Assured that we could pay our bills separately, only to have it come as one bill, and the bloke who assured us of this, to deny it when approached! stroppy Asian waitress, said they were tired and we'd have to sort the bill ourselves.....NEVER AGAIN, SNOTTY MARE, OBVIOUSLY MISSED THE MODULE ON CUSTOMER SERVICE

If I could leave 0 I would. Absolutely appalling service received. Asked by staff once for drinks in 2 and half hrs, waited ages for food which was pre booked. When asked to have to bill split (16 of us and this was pre agreed) were told by staff with disgusting attitude they were tired can't do it and we are only customer. Should be ashamed.

It's great to have a descent restaurant not to far away. And some good bars/pubs close by too. Saves going to town.

Kurdina is a brilliantly simple Italian restaurant. If youve been down walton vale then you've probably driven past it and maybe never noticed it stuck between all the shops. The menu isn't too big, but the food is ALWAYS excellent. However, the family that own and run it simply can't do enough for people. We've been here about 4 or 5 times in 18 months and I've never had anything but good food. Its spotlessly clean and not too expensive either. The kids love it as well... so you can't lose really by giving it a go. BRILLIANT.

Like to try local restaurants, and have past here lots of times and never gone in, had mixed reviews off family and friends about here. The food is really nice, I had the lamb which was gorgeous, my partner had the lasagne which he said was lovely too. The wine was also really nice. The lovely lady who served us (apparently the owners partner) was so nice, smiling all the time and asking was everything ok. First time visited since lock down and was absolutely excellent. The staff look after you as soon as you walk in. The menu covers most tastes and portions are big. The food came piping hot and really tasty. I highly recommend a visit.

A gem that doesn't show off its quality due to a very bland frontage. Immaculate, great service/staff/atmosphere. Food was superb and decent VFM Wine List. Had the Seafood Linguine and my better half their Lasagne. Will be back
