Turn up hungry as the portions are huge. Service is fantastic and a nice vibe inside. 😍

We took our 15 year old and 9 year old son. Both ate all of their food. The 15 year old wanted to try something different, and although it was a bit spicy for him (he thought the red chilli's were tomatoes!) he still had an empty plate. All 4 meals were cooked exceptionally well and tasted great. Staff were kind, friendly and polite. The atmosphere was good and prices were acceptable. 10% optional service charge was automatically added to my bill - no one pointed this out to me (I did see it before paying). I would prefer a member of staff to tell me that it is there and give me the opportunity to remove it or add more, if I want to. It's not really optional if I don't get given an option!

A great menu containing Italian amongst other dishes..It was quite busy so the service was not the fastest but worth the wait.

Food was absolutely fantastic! We were staying at the nearby Travelodge the night before our flight, and looked up local Italians. This place did not disappoint! Absolutely fantastic food and atmosphere, and only 10 mins from the hotel. Only (very small) downer was service was a little slow, but I will forgive due to how busy it was, plus the fact we weren't in a rush!

We went as a party of 12 for an evening meal in January 2024. We had all been the previous year too. The food was amazing, staff were friendly and efficient. Service was great. Would highly recommend Casa Roni.

Amazing Italian food,big portions, gorgeous atmosphere and decor.our waiter was very attentive too. The only negative was one of the waiting staff, who stood by the bar looking at us with impatience for us to leave so they could clean up. The whole room on the ground floor was still full of people, but we upstairs were made to feel an inconvenience and that we had to rush out. One little adjustment would make this a 5 star for service.

I have wanted to visit the restaurant for some time just didn't get around to it. I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. The food was amazing, portion sizes perfect, service was great. Will definitely be back.

Tasty food good service will definitely come again

Been this restaurant quite a few times now and never been disappointed with the food. Reasonably priced and the garlic bread is a must. However when I book for 5 people we are usually sat at a table that is far to small. Only other issue is that a 10% tip is added to the bill and I like to leave my own tip depending on the service I receive.

Stopped for a brief lunch; turned into 3 course marathon. Food and service impeccable. Fantastic. Already booked for Christmas.

Been here a few times and the food has always been unreal. The Salt & Pepper chunky chips are on another level. We had a party of 10 and everyone loved their meals. It’s not cheap but it definitely not expensive either. Great atmosphere, nice friendly staff and just an overall great dining experience. Will 100% be going again

Salt and pepper chicken is the nicest Iv had!! Annoyed at the service charge added onto the bill, quite happy to tip when we have had a nice meal but don’t appreciate it added onto my bill

Absolutely terrible customer service, felt ignored, waited a long time to order, starters and mains came at the same time then we were rushed to eat as if they wanted to close the section at 8pm on a Saturday night, never asked if we wanted drinks and not offered a dessert menu. Food completely average Will not be returning.

Most possibly one of the best meals I've ever had and the wine is fantastic! The only thing I would say is that it is a bit pricey (my bill for one person was £60), but other than that, it is a fantastic restaurant and the food is 10/10! Very happy.

A rehire in the kitchen would save this place. This place has the potential to be a gold mine. Amazing decor, fantastic location. But the food is woeful. Its really such a shame! We were Served raw food its just not on really. The other meals were for want of a better word, foul. We left feeling sick.

I'd give it a good 10/10 For food service and atmosphere.Was lucky to get a last minuite table when calling in as it was fully packed.Highly recommen the calamari as they were worth the wait and so was their foods

Absolutely amazing food, truly fantastic atmosphere.

My food came 20 minutes after everyone else’s as they forgot about it, it was very overpriced and the food was tasteless, really wasn’t worth paying nearly £19 for chicken and some pasta really wasn’t worth it, you wouldn’t pay that in the city centre. The staff also got several orders wrong, there was only 6 of us and 4 other tables in there, won’t be returning.

I don't understand the 1 stars. Went this Thursday 19th Oct. Lovely place, and very pleasant friendly staff. We were a party of 6 and one was gluten free and one hated onions.NOT A PROBLEM. All the meals from duck to pasta and calzone (which were huge)were delicious and service was prompt. Starters,Mains and Drinks totalled about £30 a head. Everyone enjoyed themselves and will definitely be returning. Thank you Casa Roni.

First time here last night Starters were really good especially the meatballs Went a bit overboard on starters and struggled to finish my main but food was spot on Got a service charge on our bill Bit weird for me but wasn't too much I just prefer to tip myself not be forced in to it

Popped in here on a whim as we drove by and what a lovely treat it was. The staff were so friendly. The food was delicious, the portions were huge (so much that weve been given take away boxes to take home the left overs) and the bill was reasonable. Excellent all round. Will definitely be back again.

Great place for great food! We called in after business meetings becuase airport nd service station food was just getting boring. These guys are so welcoming, food was quick on coming to our table and very very tasty! Well done team!

Brilliant staff great humor extra effort made with music for birthday celebration amazing bruchetta and Palma ham starters but peppers don't belong with fish, salmon mushroom with a ton of garlic just no, grapper was served it was lemonchello and tiramissu was served separate cream cake and cup of expresso all served by a lovely Turkish waiter speaking Spanish great guy tho can I say more lovely environment I'll return for the cocktails and starters please respect and understand the Italian menu don't need to disect traditional recipes brilliant value and quality of ingredients xxx

Wow what a beautiful little place on mather avenue / heath road. Food was gorgous eyes bigger than my belly, good portion sizes and great variety of dishes. Salmon pasta in safron sauce beautiful. Lobster and salmon ravioli beautiful garlic bread and salt and pepper chips. Food was just perfect. Staff extremely welcoming overall great first impression... that lovely booking for my daughters 16th meal. Fab little place.... 😊😊

This is a good Italian restaurant, serving excellent food from an extensive menu with a well thought through drinks menu but ruined by music played at high volume and thereby preventing relaxed conversation. And if there happens to a birthday, the volume is almost loud enough to burst eardrums. It's completely unnecessary and very irritating.

Asked 4 times by non communicating staff if our food was ok. Sat us next to a table for kids party. Surely parties should be kept separate for such noisy tables, perhaps upstairs. Asked for tap water and given bottle instead as this costs us money and came without ice and lemon as requested. Advertised wild mushroom linguine and I got button mushroom which were over run with other the ingredients and there were hardly any mushrooms at all. Bread for starter was obviously cheap due to the bitterness and uniform factory appearance of the pieces. Prawn starter was drowned in a bowl of cream with hardly any seasoning. Prawns were cooked perfectly but the rest of the meal was disappointing. The pizza had no flavour also. The good reviews I can see must be from the people who appreciate lower standards but for Italian food, it’s more than this. The fake plants outside should have given me a warning. The waiting on staff apart from the manager was were friendly, approachable and efficient. The decor is beautiful and the building itself compliments the nature of the business however the standards in house let this down further. We won’t be returning.

Busy restaurant, all tables seemed to come in at the same time. Only two waitresses who were both busy but still offered great service throughout our meal! Food was amazing and cooked perfectly! Portion sizes are huge. Would definitely come back again :)

Really nice decor inside, it’s been done up well with an outside seating area. Food comes quick and the pasta is fresh. Carbonara with prawn was really nice and not overly creamy. Prawn linguine was really good. Frozen cocktails are made to order and not from a machine which was good. Good dessert. Espresso martini came with a lime garnish though which was a bit mad in my opinion.

We went there for evening meal. The food was quite good having garlic bread for starters, however portion was so good would be better as a shared portion but this was not mentioned on ordering. The main course was enjoyable. The attentiveness of the staff was at some points intrusive been asked repeatedly how things were could be toned down. We were then told there was another booking for the table in ten minutes when having coffee, would have been good to know this on booking table.

Second time here but for lunch this time - amazing food, helpful friendly staff. Will definitely return

Dissapointed today. Table not ready, sent to bar but barman could not take order, only waitress. Table free downstairs but saved incase disabled person comes. Fair, but when i left, young fit couple sat their. Just saying.. despite delay for table and bar, we never even got a cup of coffee taken off the bill.. just as well food fab else my son would have had melt down on his birthday. Changes and autism dont mix.

Came for food here and it was unbelievable! The food was amazing, the servers were lovely and had a good laugh with us! My dad, bother and I loved it here and cannot wait to return. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Just been here for the first time with my mum and dad as was recommended by a friend, the food/ staff exceeded all my expectations, the atmosphere is so relaxing and welcoming and the food was amazing, if you are looking for a place to go as a family or as a couple you have to go here, have booked again for Friday, can not wait for the HALEWOOD!!! Birthday meal for 16 people, including 6 children. Lovely food, plenty of choice and good service. The portions were generous, especially for the children.

Excellent meal, as per usual. We tend to eat earlier, around 6pm so have no problems reserving a table. Highly recommend prawns in creamy sauce.

First vist here, great decor, attentive staff and fabulous food. Little Gem.

We went out as a family for lunch on Saturday around 13.15am. Everything went OK and food was tasty. I particularly enjoyed the Casa Roni pizza. I noted a few things: - The atmosphere (coziness vs noise) will depend on whether or not a birthday gathering is booked in the restaurant. - My phone network signal was rather low, but it could just be because of my network provider coverage in the area. Nevertheless, I am glad that I did not have to use my phone while having family quality time.

First visit Sunday teatime and won’t be the last. Looks really nice inside, service was very good and couldn’t fault food. Had Halloumi sticks and Mozzarella parcels for starters followed by Salt n pepper King Prawn for main. Absolutely superb!! We’ll recommended.

Been here about a year an go and it was completely different experience this time round food was average and coke was flat. When explained coke was flat waiter said it was impossible as it had come out of a can but there was not a single bubble of fizz in the glass, however offered to change for Diet Coke and then we seen the bartender pour half a can of coke in the glass and filled other half up with a pump! Different staff and nowhere near as welcoming as previous not a great vibe. Won’t be returning

Absolutely perfect. Finally, my Italian partner has somewhere they will gladly eat the food and has no complaints about the ingredients or the flavour. Service spot on, food arrived fresh and piping hot, my request of a carbonara without cream in it was gladly fulfilled, and it came with extra garlic and loads of fresh basil. My partner’s seafood linguine went down a treat, and the garlic bread with cheese was also spot on. This is literally the best Italian restaurant we’ve tried in this country, never mind this city, and we’ve been searching for 20 years! Bravo Casa Roni. We shall be back!

Pulled the menu out of our hands turned it over to the drinks which we’d already decided on, said we could order drinks whenever and as we tried to ask for those drinks walked away and never came back. We left after another 5 minutes of being ignored.

First vist to Casa Roni and it won't be our last! It was our son's 14th Birthday and we went in a group of 14, everything went really smoothly with the orders, really freindly and attentive staff, and the food was delicious, fresh and tasty with decent sized portions. Lovely atmosphere and interior too, everything was great, thank you guys, great to have a venue like this local to us 👍

The food and drinks were amazing especially the carbonara and aperol spritz the staff are welcoming and couldn't have done more especially Nikko.

Fabulous mid-week dinner at Casa Roni. Staff lovely and welcoming especially Niko who treated us to a free shot and some baklava. Food also great. I would highly recommend this restaurant, I have been a few times and will definitely be returning again very soon.

Been here several times and always been excellent. Went last night as not half as good. New staff which I understand have to be trained but the sooner the better. The waiter didn’t let us try the wine first he just poured it. Not ver nice house wine which we left. I ordered the crab and lobster ravioli. The filling didn’t taste or look nice at all. There was far too much sauce. When I explained this to the waitress she asked if I wanted a replacement or money back. Lettuce on salad for starter and garnish limp.

Brilliant restaurant. Service, staff and food is 5 star

The restaurant itself is nice enough. The food is poor. I had lentil soup-it was very watery and way too much garlic. Not nice. For main I had lasagne-there was next to no meat in it-just sheets of pasta! Ive never had a lasagne so poor ever. Tiramisu desert was nice. Mrs left her meal and returned her apple pie pudding as it was frozen! Other family members left food too. My mother did enjoy hers, hence two stars! We wouldn’t return.

Keep finding myself back here, good food, great vibe and the staff are very attentive, well worth a visit.
