Been going here when in town for many years. I just love the baked pasta dishes. This visit both of us went for Tortellini al Italiana. It was bubbling hot when it appeared and delicious. It was good portion sizes and washed down with the house Montepulciano a very acceptable choice. The service was quick and friendly.

This place is the best Italian that I’ve ever been to. I was served by Martin and from start to finish he was brilliant. Messed up my order (totally my fault) and even then he was great and sorted it out no bother. The food was amazing, I can’t explain how nice the sauce is in the pasta and the garlic bread. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are great. Absolutely love it here and I will be back.

Queued for an hour based off of a friend's recommendation, realised the queue had gotten massive behind us so we had high expectations and we really weren't disappointed. The food was delicious, best calzone we've ever had, will definitely be returning if we visit the city again!

Just ruined an 18th birthday meal. Service worse than poor. Waited 45 minutes to order drinks and then again for food. Would of had dessert but everyone was upset about the experience and didn't want to wait again. We were a large party but all service went to small tables.

Casa Italia had been recommended to us as a must and we were not disappointed. We had expected to queue as it was a Friday evening, (20 minutes) but the restaurant was definitely worth the wait. It was everything we had wished. Great food, a great atmosphere and excellent service. A big thank you to Callum whose service was excellent. Friendly and attentive even though the restaurant was very busy. We will definitely return when we are next in Liverpool

Such friendly & attentive staff, even when they are so busy, which is usually most of the time, but that just reflects on how amazing the staff are. We live in York, but whenever we visit Liverpool, we always pay a visit here. Definitely 5* everytime 😊

Friendly staff very attentive. My daughter knocked her drink over they were straight on it cleared up no fuss brought her a new drink free of charge I thought was nice. Lasagne and carbonara were unreal. Was busy but food was super quick. I would suggest a bit of background music but other than that which is picky at the highest level it was lovely and I would highly recommend. We will be going back 100%

Myself and my friend only ate a third of our meal. It didn't have a lot of sauce to it, therefore, it was very dry.

The casa is just wonderful food and a roaring atmosphere. The garlic bread (without cheese)is like a party in your mouth with all of the flavours combined. The lasagne hands down best in the city italian style so tender and flavoursome.

The main menu is not too special and little bit salty, portion sizes is bit smaller than I expected. However, the desserts are definitely fantastic. We ordered a pistachio Gelato that is full of pistachio favours! The apple crumble is small portion and the tiramisu is outstanding and creamy. Will come again but just for the desserts. On the other hand, the service is great and all the staff are very nice and friendly.

Like many was attracted by the queue outside…feel suckered in now. Not impressed. And to call yourself House of Italy - my pizza was definitely not Italian. Not baked in a traditional pizza oven. A high quality shop bought one at best. Staff were great no complaints there and I wish them well.

I was served by a very disgusted boy! When he took my order he rushed me! In addition to the food and drink menu, there is a cake menu at each table and also a few drinks (from there I wanted to order) but he said no and put the big menu in front of me, pointing to where the drinks were! When he brought me the bottle of juice and next to it he put the glass with ice and threw the straw in! The food was good!

A unique Italian restaurant in Liverpool. I had lunch in the restaurant and it was not completely crowded, but it is usually difficult to sit directly and you have to wait. We took the oven baked pasta, which is called Lumaconi Pollo Al Furno, which is shell pasta with bechamel sauce, mozzarella, and chicken. And it was very good. It is one of the best “halal” options. We ordered a pepperoni pizza called Calabrese and when it arrived the waitress told us that it was not halal (the waiter who took the order did not tell us that). So I suggested changing it to a margarita and it arrived very quickly without delay. The margarita was good. In general, the service was very good from the staff. It is important to pay attention to the issue of halal and haram in the dishes. ⚠️ In general, the experience is very nice and an excellent and unique Italian option in Liverpool 🇮🇹❤️

Food was amazing so tasty and you can tell its homemade, friendly staff, only downside is we had to queue outside for about 20 mins for a table as you can't book a table unless it's 6 or more ppl

After reading the reviews and thinking this was going to be amazing, it was average. I had the lasagne and it had more meat and cheese and hardly any pasta in it and also slightly salty. The pizza my dad had was also average and slightly burnt. It was also too noisy for a Thursday evening as they turn the music loud and everyone has to shout over it. Think I will explore other options in Liverpool.

The food here is very good. The only downside is the chaos of getting in. I was made to feel that I was a nuisance because I didn't understand the system of entry. There was a queue outside and woe betide you if you don't wait to be called in when you reach the front of the queue! A very grumpy doorman/waiter. That being said the food made up for it and we had a tasty leisurely 3 course meal with wine for a reasonable price.

Came here with high expectations after reading reviews and there always being a queue outside. Food was good but certainly not the nicest Italian we've been to and we definitely wouldn't queue to get in again. We had dough balls to start which were amazing but the lasagne was pretty average. We asked for a cheesy garlic bread to go with our lasagnes but this arrived with the starter and was unfortunately cold by the time our lasagnes came out.

Always walked past and wondered what the fuss is. Finally went with friends and I totally get why this place always has a queue out the door! There was four of us and we had no problems being seated quickly. Reasonably priced, we got 2 bottles of wine (1 litre each) and a main each and the bill was under £100. Service was exceptional, thanks to Matteo for being absolutely sound. Food was definitely worth coming for, came quickly and was clearly made fresh that day. If you're looking for reliable Italian food and a friendly environment look no further!

Have probably frequented this restaurant over 200 times since the 70's and have always marvelled at its consistent high quality, atmosphere and value for money. Not any more, yes the quality is still spot on but the portion sizes have diminished and the prices have rocketed. Not value anymore you have become too greedy. I have always queued up with pleasure but last 3 visits within the last month have walked in. That says it all.

I've been going to this restaurant since I met my wife, over 25 years ago. I've never had a bad meal here and our kids have grown up with this place. It's now our family favourite, where we're all happy to eat. Always great food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Wow, just wow. I read about this place in the local paper and when I mentioned it to a few people, they all seemed to know about it and some had been. I knew then I was in for a treat and I was right. I love Italian food and eating in this place felt like authentic Italy. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced too. I was told there is normally a queue to get in and that’s correct but it’s worth the wait. It took about 35 minutes to get in and when we left the queue was just as long as when we started queuing. That gives you an idea of how popular the place is. Food = outstanding. Service = outstanding. All at a decent price… I will definitely be back and I can’t wait.

I've been regularly visiting this restaurant since 1982 and have always had excellent food. Restaurant is always busy giving it a good atmosphere. Service is quick and food reasonably priced. An Italian restaurant hard to beat.

High expectations went down hill very fast. I had the oven baked lasagna and it was the plainest blandest lasagna I have ever had. No flavour and has left me feeling ill for the last couple of hours. Don’t recommend at all.

Very long established Italian restaurant. Food is excellent and the place gets very busy. It is a large restaurant on two floors but you may well have to wait for a table. You can only book a table for 6 or more so be prepared to wait at peak times.

Casa Italia offers absolutely delicious food, with an incredibly friendly and supportive staff. I will definitely be coming back again. Their menu is fantastic, and I love how they allow you to customize your order.

Delicious food however prices have inceased considerably. My previous review used to say prices were reasobable - not any more sadly.
