Absolutely delicious very reasonably priced. Garlic bread with cheese is the best. 11 of us visited and all came away stuffed. Staff amazing thank you guys.

Beautiful food served in a relaxed atmosphere. Sadly deducted stars for switching coffee machine to a deep clean almost 1 hr before closing ,plenty of tables still dining. Slow to clear 1 table and serving main course causing heated conversations and a tense atmosphere . Last thing missing toilet seat ! Hopefully mended should we decide to return Thank you guys

Very good food,and good value, service could be a bit better,on the decent.

Food was lovely, friendly service. Just didn't like the optional service charge of 10%, well its not optional if you don't know about it till you've paid. This shouldn't be added if you've not asked the customer or the customer hasn't instructed you to add a tip.

Tried Francos for the first time tonight and would recommend Service was spot on as was the food

Service and food was great but felt music act was on too early in the evening. No issue with the act but when out for dinner early was difficult to hear each other

We came here as a group of six before the races and everything was excellent. The food, the cocktails and mostly the lovely staff who I didn’t get the names of but were so friendly. We all cannot wait to go back and are going to be visiting regularly now. Thanks so much Francos, it was lovely to visit somewhere with fresh food, modern decor and amazing staff.

Had a meal tonight with family, first time visiting and was really impressed with the food, ambience and service. Would definitely recommend and we will go again. Lovely friendly blonde waitress and nothing was too much trouble. Be warned the starters were huge and we couldn't finish our mains. 😂

Large party visit on Saturday night of 10 people. The smell that hits you once you walk in is like being wrapped in a comforting blanket, you know what's coming and it'll be full of garlicky goodness. We had a wide range of fussy eaters with us who had everything possible done to ensure their evening went well, so well in fact that there wasn't a single complaint from any of them which is genuinely a first. Menu choice is varied, portion size was generous and the food was piping hot and most importantly absolutely delicious. Staff and ambience were also top notch and the live singer was exceptional. Return visits will be made.

We had my daughters 18th here and the staff were absolutely amazing! There was 16 of us all together and everything was perfect! Can’t thank the staff enough especially the waitress who looked after us all :) And the food was spot on. Definitely recommend

35 years we had our wedding reception here at this venue, yes things have changed but it was wonderful to visit with some of our beautiful family to celebrate our special day xx

Been to Francos twice now and both times was excellent. Great friendly service and nothing too much bother for them. The food is very tasty and great portion sized. The prices are reasonable too. They also serve really good selection of cocktails that are lovely. On the Saturday evening there was a live singer and she was amazing. Was such a nice atmosphere. Make sure you book a table in advanced as its only small and gets busy quickly.

Update your opening times on google. Wasted journey.

Ordered a steak with fries which was one of the worse I had, it has no taste at all including the fries I think a frozen bag of fries form Asda taste better then them fries I had. The staff are friendly environment it’s nice but the food not so great. Second time I have been here and still disappointed. I do not recommend👎

This restaurant is much improved from when I ate there two years ago. It hadn't long opened and I gave it a terrible review. The food was bland, the service was atrocious and the staff were clueless. I'm now happy to delete that review because there's no comparison between what I experienced two years ago and that I experienced last night. The food was nice with generous portions and nicely presented. The staff were amiable and on top of their game. All in all, a pleasant experience but watch out for the service charge they add to your bill. Tipping is voluntary. We paid it because we were happy enough to do so but not happy that it had been added to our bill without the words discretionary.

If I could give Francos six stars I would food was excellent lasagne was amazing even better they serve Madri which is my favourite beer forget going to any city centre Italian Restaurant get yourself to Francos for a great Italian experience.

I have food poisoning, feel horrific. So sad as I’ve been really wanting to try here but won’t be again. Just hoping it’s a one off as really does seem like a lovely place I just won’t chance trying again I am certain it came from here as I’d had nothing else to eat due to being busy all day

We went for a 60th Birthday. There were two staff on who were great. We had ordered prior to going as we were a big group. But the staff and chef catered for our extra starters and garlic bread. The staff were very busy but made it work and nothing was too much trouble for them. The tempura prawns were delicious and absolutely huge. The garlic bread with cheese was great and all the kids loved it. I had the chicken primavera, having never had it before it came in a big bowl and a very tasty creamy sauce. I will definitely be going back. Thanks to the staff at Franco's for making our night so special. ⭐⭐

What staff ..they blew us away, genuine from start to finish. We were competing at the racecourse and decided to eat out - it couldn't have been any better Party of 3 , 1 coeliac and 1 gluten free they checked everything and the food was delicious Lots of large parties in celebrating bit the staff (only 2) remained calm and in control ...we will return next year when competing again

Visited last week. Only just noticed the bill 10% tip added automatically. Very disappointed as didnt notice and we left additional tip.

Food was good but service was slow due to not having enough staff available to run the bar, take orders and serve food. Shame as only reason not rated higher

Absolutely exceptional. This isnthe best Italian food I have eaten outside of Italy. Staff were amazing and food out of this world. Thankyou for an unforgettable meal, I would happily travel back here again and again just for the food.

Can’t get through to talk to them in the phone. I am gluten free I ordered a pizza was told it was gluten free but it came it was normal bread base. Rang up they said it was a mix up and refund me but I never got my money back.

Thought it would be more italian . Didn't even get to cut my own pizza and no n'duja which was disappointing.

Shocking the way we were treated over the fact I am gluten free. Owner dealt with it well the first time despite me being served a wheat infested pizza and the waitress not caring at all or understanding. Gave them another chance and the waitress was absolutely vile. "This pizza is cold" we said and her answer was "I've just watched the chef take it out the oven!" Honestly. Once again we messaged the owner only this time he ignored us. Anyway told all our mates.

Francos Italian , Came here on Mother’s Day was so lovely the staff where very friendly and attentive. We had starters and mains all of which were very flavourful and a good selection of red wines . Looking forward to our next visit !

We booked a table at 4.30, so there wasnt many people in the restaurant. We waited around 50 mins for the food to arrive but when it did, the food was lovely.

It was my wife and her work colleague who ate here last night .When she returned home she just said that what she had eaten was the best meal out ever, from the garlic bread starter , she usually won't eat anything like that , to the spag bol , tiramisu and cocktail drink , defo top nosh and cannot wait to go back. It was quite busy for a Monday night , the staff were so nice and friendly she could not fault a thing

Had pizzas here with some nice beers on draught! Recommend for lunch or a nice evening meal. Reasonably priced too

Lovely restaurant, very clean. Food very good. We sat in the booth which is quite an awkward seating area, if someone sitting at the back needs to get out at least 3 of you have to move out, then wait for them to return before you return to your seats. Plus the food had to be passed along by us as waiter unable to reach . Mike was very friendly and helpful alas this could not be said about the waitress. We were presented with our bill and paid it before one of our party realised that our deposit hadn't been taken off the bill, this didn't sit well with us as everything in this restaurant is on a computer, the error was rectified.

Charlotte was absolutely fantastic and very welcoming even though the restaurant was empty early evening, she made us just feel very happy to be there d amazing and also Mike was very accommodating to / yes two great staff you have very big asset to your company restaurant food was excellent Defi go again Gary & Rhon

1st time I’ve been since it was reopened as Franco’s, and 1st time I’ve dined out since the pandemic. Upon arrival we were greeted & promptly shown to our table (I was with my wife & 2 friends visiting from Birmingham) and soon asked if we wanted a drink while we pondered over the menu. After choosing our meals (I had spaghetti carbonara, wife had lasagna & my friends had the calzone & pasta al forno, we also shared 2 lots of hand cooked chips) we didn’t wait long before they were served. We all commented that the food portions were good & the taste was outstanding. The prices for the dishes & drinks were fine too. Needless to say that we can thoroughly recommend this place & will be back soon.

Food always good and good value. Staff very friendly and try hard but could do with being a little more attentive. Had to ask several times for the same thing and if wanted a drink had to call over no one came and asked if we were ok for drinks. But I feel everyone trying hard and think some of the guys were new. It's a pleasant atmosphere.

Amazing food and experience. Although there was a bit of a wait for food, we understood that things nowadays take longer due to extra cleaning for covid rules on the hospitality sector. Didn't wait as long as other places we went this past 2 months so was impressed. Well done and thank you for a great evening. We all really enjoyed it.

Sunday morning thought we would pop in for a cuppa after a walk. 4 other people two couples in there. Asked for a drinks menu was given a cocktail menu it was 11am. Asked for a soft drinks menu told didnt have one. Ordered a tea and a coffee. 20 mins later the coffee arrived only half full. 25 mins later after I had to ask my tea.arrived. cup was filthy and sticky stuff all over it. With that the other customers walked out aswell after waiting 45 mins for a breakfast. So sad as should be able to manage 6 customers. If not then your in the wrong business

First time going to Franco's I was really impressed the staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. I got a calzone and it was enormous, the garlic with cheese was fantastic. Would highly recommend going here for something to eat and they do takeaway so we will trying that out one night.

I recommend coming here for a event e.g. a date because they offer fantastic dishes originally from Italy (They also serve cocktails). I recommend coming here and personally I would come here again.

Nothing personal, just an experience. Last year I was in Italy so I think I would have a delicious lunch.Unfortunately nothing Italian, just the name. The food is made irresponsibly. Small + expensive.I would recommend bringing at least one Italian to teach.Do yourself an internship in Italia.Sorry,no personal ,just own experience.

Staff provided very poor service, hardly spoke or smiled and just seemed miserable which was not what we were expecting. Took us 10 minutes to get the bill because the 2 girls were stood talking after we'd asked for it. Place seemed unclean, flies everywhere, on our drinks and food (apparently they get it a lot and have fly traps that don't seem to work), one of us had a shandy that made them go the toilet as it didn't taste good at all. Atmosphere was dull, almost silent at times which made us feel loud when we talked. Other customers seemed to be whispering. Food in general was nice but won't be going again because of the flies and poor service.

All of the food was delicious the waiters are kind and I rate this place 5 stars everything about it is great.

A fantastic experience for a family meal out. Great atmosphere, excellent food, pizza's especially surpassed all our expectations. The kids will be talking about the 'milkshakes' (incredible) for a long time to come. Couldn't fault the service, will be back for sure!!

Food was delicious! Our party ate last night Friday 20th August 21. First time for all of us and we all agreed the food was fabulous ! We had a range of meals , all eating differently , garlic bread with cheese and mushrooms were perfect. The fillet steak and pepper sauce were so good ! The hand cut chips were a wonderful surprise! Others ate Seabass , sirloin, chicken, various pasta dishes , shell fish, soup, breads and plates were left clean ! The restaurant is very nice in side and service is relaxed. This place is worth trying, I absolutely recommend it !

Just had a lovely meal at Francos in Aintree and it was absolutely gorgeous. Right on our doorstep as well and close to Aintree racecourse. The food was delicious, the service was quick and the staff were polite and it was spotless. I highly recommend this place. It was so nice. Well done Franco,s. It was my first meal out of lockdown and it was simply the best.

Nice place for a meal staff very helpful.

First visit to this restaurant was a positive one. The menu is varied with a good number of options. The food was fresh, tasty and arrived at our table in good time. Value is also another strong point. The only note for improvement would be some of the waiting staff seemed less than welcoming. A smile goes a long way! However, I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

🍾🥂 we went to Franco's on our wedding anniversary and we had a wonderful meal, it was all Covid safe, staff were masked and everywhere wiped down and cleaned, the service was excellent, food so tasty and hot, plentiful too, would definitely eat there again and would recommend it to everyone, a real treat.

Food was average, overpriced for what it was, service was slow as there was only 2 members of staff doing everything on the floor eg: serving the meals, collecting the dishes & making the drinks etc. Overall the resturant is decorated nicely & its convenient for locals, the menu is a decent size but would not return / recommend.

Good Italian food, well cooked and served. Nice surroundings. Reasonably price. Really nice wine. Definitely a good place to go too eat and will be returning especially as I’m now local to it in Aintree village

Visited early evening on a Sunday and the food was nice enough but nothing to rave about on this occasion. Service was pleasant but inexperienced. I'd love to see this local restaurant do well so I'll likely give it another visit, maybe midweek rather than a Sunday when I think many places have a drop in standard due to volume of customers.
